My transmission started slipping. I called a friend who directed me to Mr. Transmission! I called and spoke with Brian. He asked a few questions, advised he would send a tow to pick up my truck. This was Friday. On Monday my vehicle was complete. They even stayed open til I got there because I was stuck in traffic and was 5 minutes late. When I arrived the technician took the time to explain what the problem was and how he repaired it so it wouldn't happen again.They were very helpful, informativeand professional. I recommend Mr. Transmission give them a call for your transmission needs.Service: Transmission

I took my car in thinking my transmission was slipping, Brian s crew did a thorough inspection and found the issue and it was not a transmission issue at all. I recommend Brian highly as he is honest and fair priced!

Great service. I was quoted $3k somewhere else and Mr. Transmission was able to fix the issue (with the same safety precautions) for $700. Staff is very knowledgeable and repair was completed timely for us to get back on the road. Thanks again.

Short Review:I have been taking my old truck to this location and I can openly say that they are honestest people. they won't try to sell you anything that you don't really need.Long Review:I recently had talked my truck to the dealership for an oil change. After the overall check they said that the transmission fluid needed to be change because it was in bad shape. I was skeptical about that so didn't accept that service. so took the truck to specialists at Mr Transmission. They were honest about the transmission fluid that it was still in good shape and didn't need to be replaced! instead they found that there is some oil leaking on the valve covers and that was NOT reported at the dealership!

I had a great experience with Mr. Transmission. They towed my 2016 Ford Escape to the shop at no extra charge and they gave me a diagnosis within 24 hours. They were able to change my transmission at a reasonable price and timely manner. Brian and his team are amazing at what they do and are honest people. Please give them a try! You ll be glad you did. The team at Mr Transmission really seems to care about their customers. I came in with a transmission warning screen that terrified me, and Brian diagnosed as a battery problem. New battery and the problem is gone.

I came in and spoke with Brian, I was having issues with either electrical, or mechanical issues with my transmissions not changing gears correctly. I feared I needed a new or rebuilt transmission but Brian was honest and transparent and told me it was likely just a sensor. It fixed my problems, and he didn t try to sell or uncharged me on things I didn t need. I appreciate, especially as a woman I find it difficult to find a mechanic that wants to help without up charging on things you don t need. I highly recommend this company and will use them in future.

I highly recommend Mr. Transmission. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. They fixed our car s issue at a very reasonable price, and then looked into a brake issue on our car for free when they noticed the brakes weren t working properly. I went here about a week ago after taking my car some where else because my transmission malfunction light was on in my 2007 BMW 530I. I was told by the other dealership that it would cost me $850 to repair it was suggested I bring it here for second opinion well I did Brian Matthews was so friendly from the time I walked in after inspecting my vehicle he comes out to say you had 2 codes I cleared them I drove your vehicle it s working just fine I said well what do I owe you he said nothing it s apart of the vehicle inspection. I m so glad I came here I will use them always thank you for your honesty Brian it s well appreciated you saved me $850 that I didn t have.

Both CB joint boots were split open. The car had 220,000 mi. So I decided to replace both CV axles. The young man that owns the facility was awesome friendly checked out the car thoroughly before he replaced any parts. Told me what it would cost. And kept to his estimate. It's only been a couple days. The car is running great and hopefully we'll make it through my daughter's schooling after high school.Service: Transmission

These guys do a great job. Did a great job diagnosing the transmission on my 1993 Ford Ranger with 188K miles on the odometer. Transmission slipping when fluid is cold due to a small pinhole leak in the gasket. Will take it back to them to change the gasket and do a flush as they didn't have the gasket in stock due to the age of the vehicle.

Never take your car here. They do absolutely horrible work. I had my bronco at their Sandy Springs office, and as of 30 Dec 22 its at Fordnow gettingmaster cylinder andbcluth re-done. Just wanted to pass along a great story that you don t hear much of any more especially when it comes to our cars and having them serviced.Back in 1986 I had a Mr Transmission location in Doraville rebuild the transmission in my 1982 Corvette. I also bought a Lifetime Warranty at the time. One requirement is that it has to be inspected each year and I ve done that religiously. For a long time now I ve been having the inspection done by the good folks at Mr Transmission Sandy Springs. After 34 years I finally had an issue where the transmission would not shift. I spoke with Tom about the issue and reminded him of the warranty. He told me to have it towed in when it was convenient for me.After a few days Tom informed me that the problem was solved and my yearly inspection was complete.They honored the warranty without hesitation.That s integrity.I want to say thanks to the whole team at Sandy Springs. My interactions with them over the years has been top notch each and every time I visit for my inspections.These folks are the best in the business!

They're Way Honest!!! Never had a chance for them to do the work to grade them! I had some annoying noise coming from the front end of my car...always suspected bad wheel bearings. Previously I took it to Jim Ellis Ford who told me the transmission needed to be replaced, which I laughed at the guy. He suggested that I take it to Aamco that they have a good reputation. That same afternoon, I called Mr. Transmission and spoke with Tom. Tom told me to drop it by and he or they would take a look at it the next morning. Without delay, I rode up to Jim Ellis Ford picked up my car, and drove it down to Mr. Transmission. The following day I rec'd a call from Tom at Mr. Transmission informing me that my transmission is just fine and the problem seemed more like a wheel bearing issue. Not only was Tom and his team very honest during this but also he offered a solution which was a place next door to them that performed the work at a very good price. Good work and honesty are two traits in this industry I highly value...I've already referred friends and I definitely know where I'll be bringing my vehicles for future repairs, if needed.Service: Transmission

I brought my 2009 Challenger RT in to have a new clutch installed. I had it diagnosed at my local dealer before bringing it in. The manager Tom was very professional and honest and kept me informed throughout the process of the repair. It took longer than expected because he wanted everything to be perfect when he presented my car to me. He even called me to ask about how the car drives to make sure that everything was done as well as it could be before he told me I could pick it up. If I have any transmission concerns in the future with any of my cars I ll be going back to see Tom at Mr. Transmission in Sandy Springs. The customer experience was 1st Class.Service: Transmission

I had a great experience with Tom at Mr. Transmission. He was very honest and helpful with explaining exactly what was wrong with my transmission and what steps they were taking to get it fixed. I even showed up when they were closed, and he came outside, diagnosed my car and got it in queue to get done as soon as possible. He gave me a very fair price - thousands cheaper than other shops quoted me at and got my car back up and running great. I recommend them if you're looking for an honest and friendly mechanic.

Outstanding service!I dropped off my car after hours and was kept in the loop every step of the way. The transmission issue for my Nissan Xterra was unusual but Tom immediately was able to identify the problem and offer a very fair price for the repairs. The truck is running great.I would highly recommend this Mr. Transmission due to their level of professionalism and sincere follow up and attention to my repair needs.

I absolutely LOVED my experience with Mr. Transmission! I have a 2015 Nissan Versa and was told by the dealership I would need $5000 for a new transmission which I was not prepared for. I researched and found Mr. Transmission, which was a significant price difference. They made this an easy process! I was able to do financing for a portion and pay cash for the balance. Lowell, walked us through the problems of my transmission type upon our arrival and Tom (manager) worked with me every step of the way. I felt like I was the #1 customer with each interaction! They are patient, caring, communicative, and the turn around time was great! Thank you so much for your service Mr. Transmission, this was life-saving for me!

I took my car in for transmission troubles, Mike has been amazing to work with. He was very thorough and even make multiple phone calls out to see if he could address the issue.Mike is very genuine and honest with you throughout the process and constantly updating you. He will talk you through the concerns and problems so you understand. A great place that is honest and very detailed to ensure they don't miss anything. I visited Mr. Transmission in Sandy Springs to get a leak checked out. They conducted a thorough inspection of my car, driving it, lifting it and hooking it up for a check. My transmission turned out to be okay, as the leak was due to something else. Not only did the staff at Mr. Transmission go over my car, they didn't charge me for the check since there was nothing wrong with my transmission, thank God!The staff is friendly. The office is warm and inviting. I highly recommend this Sandy Springs shop.Thank you to the staff for caring about your customers and for being fair and honest. I appreciate it.

I have brought several vehicles to Tom and Lowell over the years and I can't say enough about how well they treat me and my family every visit. Nobody likes to have a transmission problem but the family environment and honest quotes make the repair process a little easier. They never sell you anything you don't need and are very clear on their approach in their repairs. I recently had valve body work and was in and out in a major days not weeks and the problem was solved the first trip . I highly recommend this Mr.Transmission
