I don't know what's been going on this past year but as a long time customer, I've experienced them drop the ball on my services.One repair left me on the side of the rode having to tow and rent a car for a weekend. The next experience I spent hundreds of dollars only for them not to be honest, forward, nor informative about my cars condition. What's worse, the problem I came in and spent almost $1000 for, was never resolved. Not the first time that's happened either. Currently seeking another professional. Front desk experience is kind but the mechanics in the back, they need to step up their game.3/4/ Response: I'll pass on the offer. I can't afford to lose any more money at your expense. Good luck though.

I was visiting from out of town. My niece had brake issues and this business was recommended by a local resident. They got the car fixed last minute same day and were fair and reasonably priced. I highly recommend them.

Good, honest people here. I have a small delivery business and the guys at Long keep my vans running smooth. They never upsell or recommend repairs that are not needed. Pricing is also very reasonable.You can trust these guys.

I went in for a control arm repair a week ago and the next week, I had problems with the other control arm. They repaired both with no charge because of the bad part they had installed the previous week. Needless to say, I'm VERY grateful!!!!And my guys at the front desk kept me posted on the status which was very much appreciated. 10 out of 10 for me!!!!!

Jim and his team always come through for me and all my family and friends. Never hesitate to recommend them because they shoot you straight and get things done at a timely manner. I have a fondness for old cars and even though that isn't really their wheelhouse they always put up with what I bring them!We all know how hard it is to find honest trustworthy shops these days and we go back again and again. Thank you Long Tire and Brake!

Stopped by with a brake problem. Very nice gentleman unlocked our brakes Informed us he didn't have the facility to properly take care of us. Directed us to Butler tire. They handled us. I recommend here for your service needs

They never talked over and only recommended services I needed. Need to return get a bake job. Great tire prices and oil change. Great staff and the techs are happy to explain anything if asked a question

Impressive honesty. During an oil change at my car dealer, mechanic claimed I needed an expensive repair. Took my car to Long Tire and Brake for second opinion. If needed, the job was theirs. The estimate was much lower than the dealership price. Better yet, after their inspection, told me the work was not needed, and probably wouldn't be for at least three years.

Our business, EcoPlay Structures, can't say enough about this team. It is rare to find a team that is not only honest, but that goes the extra mile! When we are pressed for time they squeeze us in, and their pricing is always fair and reasonable.

Long Tire and Brake absolutely rocks.I have sold used cars for more than 23 years and now Will, Jeff and their team have earned my business. Both honest and quite fair in their work they are a hard to find gem.They have done 3 jobs for me including 4 corner brakes w/rotors (with new E-brake assemblies), as well as a pesky check light that I threw an O2 sensor at. They knocked it out finding a vacuum leak.Again, I don't do reviews unless warranted.

I've been going to Long Tire for a couple of years now. My AC broke and after being quoted over $1,000 everywhere I went, Long Tire was able to do it for half the price. Ever since, I've been getting all my services done here. Staff is friendly and honest. Great company.

~7 years ago I lost piles of money due to poor quality work dealing with a plethora of other "professional" mechanics until I finally said, "enough is enough."At that time I had just started my landscaping business and I desperately needed a reliable mechanic that above all else got the job done properly. I had previously gone through the painful experience of trying other shady mechanics that quite literally cost me to lose everything my first 2 naive years in business. Including having my first truck stolen and sold for parts by a mentally-unstable mechanic at a different big-name 'reputable' shop that I will not disclose here. (Soon after, this mechanic ended up in jail and thus the magistrate courts could legally do nothing to help compensate for my losses.)A few years after losing everything and starting completely over with another used truck I was recommended by Ed D. to try Long Brake & Tire. Ever since then my family and I have been coming to Long & Tire for a wide variety of repairs and projects and we have never had any major issues whatsoever. Long & Tire never ceases to amaze me at the quality of their work and the speed at which they consistently get it done. They have multiple ASE Certified expert mechanics working there with their own particular niches (Cars, Van's, Duallys, Box Trucks, etc). We have brought everything from sports cars, vans, trucks, and even giant dually commercial landscaping vehicles and dump-trucks to Long & Tire with excellent results.If you have been having any doubts or issues with your personal mechanic and you don't know where else to go, then I strongly recommend Long Brake & Tire on Canton Road.I have tried all of the local mechanics within a 12 mile radius and from first-hand personal experience, Long Brake & Tire is by far the best, most transparent, and have the most qualified mechanics around.

Got a quote from the Ford dealer (Krause) and from Long's for engine repairs. SAVED $2000 OVER DEALER FOR SAME WORK! Car was repaired a month ago. Everything is good.

Brought my car in for an alignment, my car still pulls to the left, they did not mention anything about my tie rod ends needing to be greased (they have grease fittings), and my tires were at: FL 31 FR 47 RL 37 RR 43. How do you do an alignment without setting tire pressures? How do you not test drive the vehicle, to know that the work was done properly? Will never be back.

Some of the most honest and upstanding people I have ever come across. In over 20 years of doing business with them, they have never wronged me. You never need to fear bringing your vehicle to these guys. They will fix only what is broken. I know a lot of shady mechanic shops, but this is NOT one of them.These are the guys your parents would tell you to go to for repairs. They wont do any repairs without consulting with you first, and getting permission to continue. If I could rate this place a 10 star business I would.

This team has come through for me once again! Butch from the Toy Shop Japanese auto referred me there for an alignment in Dec 2019. During that time 3 other shops along Canton rd either misled me they could do the job then didnt after I left the car with them or refused me since Lexus built my car with an aggressive stance. Today the finished another job job for me with care and precision. I also have 20s on my car and the pulled the tire off the Rim when I needed it whereas several other shops around refused me with one shop being a dedicated tire shop by name. Long Tires and Brakes did my brakes all the way around and I'm stopping with the power as if my 2008 ISF was brand new.

This mechanic shop always takes care of whatever happens to my vehicle. And always does it right. I want to cry tears of joy when I think about how much they make my life easy in comparison to my past mechanics. I'm the kind of guy where I will pay ANY price. I just want a mechanic who can and will do whatever breaks down on my vehicle. They even give you a receipt for what they did (I've never had mechanics give me a receipt). Brake Long & Tire is a no sweat, just pay them, and you get what you need type of company. Just great, hands down.

Customer services needs work. I got break work done and now I have head light out that I just had replaced. I walked into the shop and they had my hood up.... I got BREAK work done. I believe they tampered with my truck to get more business.. as I waited for my truck I overheard employees talking about changing a customers pads knowing that she needed rotors and they said "she'll be back and will need rotors and more pads so we'll get paid twice"

Been using these guys for as long as I can remember. They get it right every time and while not the cheapest have saved me money in the long over other repair places I have used that put in cheaper parts that failed too soon but conveniently outside of the warranty period (radiators come to mind).

I may speak from a unique perspective. I am a senior, handicapped, living alone not only on a strict budget but recovering from heart failure and the ENORMOUS associated expenses...BUT I want my car to be safe and drivable. Oh, and female LOL. My car was pulling to the right and going bumpity bump so I figured alignment, balance, tires? LOL.LONG TIRE & BRAKE invested their ONLY finite resource (considering time, energy and money) -- they invested their TIME in me ... told me what I needed, why I needed it, what the entire process entailed, the absolute drop dead date I might need it LOL, how much it would cost (a lot but doable and it sounds reasonable) AND they hooked me up so I could get by a few weeks without being in danger or further damaging my Sienna. SO from my "unique" perspective and my 50 years driving experience, this should be your FIRST call ... compare the rest THEN factor in honesty, integrity, compassion, fairness, proficiency, knowledge, experience ... and come back to your FIRST call, LONG TIRE & BRAKE.As an aside/comparison, I can't even begin to tell you the DW Campbell Goodyear horror story (of the same day), flat out lied to me on the phone, then lied right to the face of my care giver who took my car up to be checked ... AND when she left it for one thing (tire/balance/alignment) came back and he had CHANGED OIL instead LOLOL she called me and I asked "how fast can you get out of there without relocating his family jewels?"... it will be ice cold in h*ll and all the little devils will be ice skating before I make that mistake again... rude, obnoxious, reactive, rushed (and not another customer in sight LOL) ... so yeah, Long Tire & Brake. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

VERY busy place. Not too friendly- very "matter of fact" attitude, but they get it done. Parking is extremely crowded with Arrow Exterminator trucks. They did get me out fairly quickly, though.
