Kinda expensive, but very good job and in a timely manner. One of my windows got a crack in it while in their shop and the replaced it for free. The parking is kinda crazy to get in and out or to park, lots of repair shops in this strip. I would definitely use them again.

Stacy and his staff were incredibly helpful when I brought my 2004 Hyundai Sonata to replace the catalytic converter that had been stolen from it. I brought it in this afternoon, without an appointment and Stacy got it right in. The technician evaluated and repaired it in about an hour and a half!! I had gotten quotes from other automotive repair places but G & S was certainly the lowest!! Thanks again for giving me peace of mind and not destroying my wallet!!

The team at G&S have always been trustworthy and very supportive to our needs as their customer. We moved from Marietta 3 years ago making the trip a bit too far but the comfort and trust in G&S is bringing us back to this Awesome Automotive Neighborhood of cross supportive businesses.Thanks again for helping navigate life s challenges.

I took my car to G & S to get check engine light / lean codes diagnosed. They kept the car 3 days. They called and told me they found out the problem, and that it was an oxygen sensor and quoted a price over $200. I authorized them to do the work with the understanding that they had correctly diagnosed the issue. However, after they did the work they called me and said it did not fix the issue. The communication was misleading. It seemed like a bait and switch to me. I only agreed to the $250 under the condition that would fix the problem. They wouldn't budge! So I had to pay that to get my car back!Another shop easily determined i had an ignition coil problem, and made a quick, cost efficient repair that solved the problem. I understand these diagnostics can be tricky, but do not tell me you found the problem and then charge me and later tell me "oh we were wrong but you still have to pay".

I was pleasantly surprised and impressed with the honest service that I received during a non-scheduled brake service. I was referred to Stacey at G&S by another auto service business that I frequent for my tires. I was told to ask for Stacey and that he would take care of me and that he is trustworthy . My mouth dropped and my interest was piqued. I called, spoke to Stacey, and he asked how soon I could bring it for him to inspect. The dealership quoted me a $500 rotor and brake job. Stacey s team found that I didn t need rotors and that my pads were good, just in the wrong place. They machined the rotors, scuffed the pads, and placed them in position. An hour later the repair was done and it was no where near what the dealership tried to rip me off for. Blessings to G&S and its staff! Much appreciation to them all, especially Stacey!!!

This is a great shop that does excellent work! Stacy and his staff took care of my Silverado and did a great job at a great price. Even with a tough exhaust install, the price and quality of service were top notch!

Stacy the owner is wonderful, so helpful & knowledgeable. I highly recommend G & S . The service guys are great too.I get my oil changes done there but also I ll be going back there for any upcoming necessary services like brakes.

Was from Michigan, got a problem with my muffler, that Alpharetta or Roswell auto shop won't fix. They suggested to replace the whole exhaust system. RYE. G&S auto fixed it nicely the way i wanted it. Thanks. Small fix? - must go!

Stacey is my go-to for any issues, he's been there for everything from an oil change to an engine swap. He's more like a neighbor than any mechanic I've been to. This is the place you'd take your momma's car to, to make sure she's treated right

I've had them do work twice in my Jeep and their willingness to do quality work on a modified vehicle with zero hassle is awesome. Also, ask Stacy about his drag racing days-- he knows what quality work is.

Called in to see if they could remove a seized oxygen sensor bung from a cheap cat convertor I bought on Rockauto. They knocked it out fast and rethreaded the bung for me. Saved me from having to deal with a return and weeks of downtime.Later that day I brought the vehicle back to them and the went ahead and just chopped the ill fitting converter pipe and reworked it so everything lined up as it should. Under $200 out the door and had it done fast. Courteous and knowledge staff. Coming back soon for them to delete my resonators and hang better mufflers. 2000 Lexus GS300.

Without any doubt, I endorse this location. I did work for Stacy. He was very understanding, knowledgeable, and professional. They made the repair quickly and with a great deal of courtesy. More significantly, they offered reasonable services and were incredibly honest. In order to get a new Cadillac converter from G&S, I had to go out of my way to travel to Marietta from the city. The journey was worthwhile!

Very friendly, affordable, and fast service (both times I was in and out in under an hour). Honestly, I have a lot of anxiety over going to new mechanics, but they were so kind and I had an overall great experience. When I realized my car needed some additional work, they took care of it right away and explained everything that was going on. I was recommended to go to G&S to get my exhaust fixed by my regular auto repair shop, I'm recommending them to local friends too.Service: Exhaust

I had my tires changed at Costco and was told I needed an alignment ASAP. My 19yo is in Georgia for a few months, and their car developed an exhaust leak that gradually got louder and louder. A shop nearby said they don't do a lot of exhaust work and recommended G&S (Marietta). Stacy @ G&S was very polite & professional, didn't bat an eye when my kid wanted dad on speakerphone to talk about the diagnosis & estimate. They got the car in the next morning and completed the repair the same day, quickly, correctly, for the quoted price. My kid drove away, circled the block and came back because the check engine light came on, and the car was still loud. Stacy went for a ride with them and instantly diagnosed a bad wheel bearing (that noise had been masked by the exhaust leak); he pulled the codes (bad oxygen sensor) and confirmed the code by testing the sensor itself. The car is 16 years old and the sensor was probably on the verge of failing, and vibration from the exhaust work just pushed it over the edge. On speakerphone again, polite, professional; we talked through it and agreed that the wheel bearing is a safety issue that had to be fixed before driving back to Pennsylvania in April; we agreed the O2 sensor is not a safety issue and can wait, and we'll change that out at home. He didn't charge anything for diagnosis time; my kid brought the car back in the next morning to change out the bearing, again done quickly, correctly and for the agreed price, and is now amazed at just how quiet the car is.Services: Exhaust, General repairs & maintenance

I went to G&S auto and muffler after reading the google reviews to get my catalytic converter replaced and I highly recommend this shop to everyone. When the part they ordered was cheaper than was quoted they told me and I couldn t be more thankful for their honesty. 10/10 excellent, honest, and professional.

Great service and most important very courteous. There is always some anxiety when I talk with mechanics, but I was put at ease by their expertise. They walked me through the entire process and did everything the same day. The car is so much quieter!

I definitely recommend this place. I worked with Stacy. He was so patient, professional, and informative. They were very accommodating and fast in the repair. More importantly, they were very honest and provided affordable services. I drove out of my way to Marietta from the city because another reputable automotive shop referred me to G&S for a new Cadillac converter. It was worth the drive!

I just went over there to have my resonator removed from my exhaust & a stainless steel dual tip welded on because the last place I went to look like they welded my Dynomax Turbo muffler on during a blackout & they used a hot butter knife & Radio Shack solder You get what you pay for sometimes right? So G&S is 8 miles further than my previous muffler shop, but I was reading the reviews & looking at the pictures of the welding they did & I gladly burn the extra 93 octane to go get some nice clean welds on my exhaust! The guy really is good over there & he's very particular & I can appreciate that when I'm spending my hard earned money right? And he also sprayed that rust protectant on the other welds & made them look better! I owe that guy lunch that's for sure! The guys are nice & the prices are nice! I'll be back for sump'em else

4 weeks ago, I had an alignment done and was told by the tech that the steering wheel would be tilted a little to the left but it was as close as he could get it. 2 weeks ago I left on a long trip and noticed halfway through the steering wheel was now 90 degrees off. Took it back to them today, and was told that I had bad tires and the tire rotation was causing my problem left there and went to another alignment shop in the area they quickly found the issue. G&S hadn t righted the steering alignment nut, and had been working its way loose! Could have been disastrous! What bothered me the most was the insistence that it was the tires that caused the issue, without taking 5 seconds to check out the problem!Service: Wheel alignment
