I went to Franklin Auto instead of the Lexus dealership for my hybrid, and it was such a great experience! Everyone is nice and welcoming (and so incredibly helpful), prices are fair, and service was quick. I highly recommend to those in the area looking for a reliable and family owned shop!

You get service, quality, and reliability at Franklin Auto Service. Loc and Dan have been amazing people to work with regarding all of my Oopsie car incidents. They've fixed the driver side mirror in less than 2 days and charged me a 1/3 of the price of what Mercedes would have charged me. They've also replaced my washer pump motors after Mercedes messed it up when I took it in for service and wanted to charge me an arm and a leg I received an amazing price for a dent on the side of my car after I accidentally backed into a pole. not only has this shop became my go to, Dan & Loc have became great family friends and I will always recommend this shop above any other shop.I was in a wreck 2 days ago and Dan stayed up late to let us tow my car into his shop through the downpours of the hurricane outskirts. AGAIN, NO ONE ELSE would have done that for their clients if they didn't care.Thank you Loc & Dan for everything!

Only mechanics I will take my vehicle to and have been for the past two years. Always new parts, always show you your old parts and will even show you the damage to your vehicle before starting any work. I truly appreciate the integrity and hard work they put forth everytime.

I brought my car in this morning in need of a new start in building a new relationship with a mechanic shop.I told them my concern I'm having with my car they said they would fix it today and they delivered.The shop was clean and organized and they prioritized my car and my car was fixed in a quality and timely fashion. It's a slippery slope with mobile mechanics or shade tree to be exact out here, its not consistent, so I trust my gut to allow new mechanics to take over, and they did the job.Im a happy customer.Thank you Bien for great customer service! I wish I can give you all 10 stars!

I've gone to Franklin Auto Repair on several occasions & have always received top notch service. Loc & his family/ entire team are honest & dependable you don't have to worry about being taken advantage of being over charged. I highly recommend them for any type of service to your vehicle!

Was quoted $200 for labor cost for a two hour job. The mechanic finished within one hour. And just let my car sit there. Finally I got up to the window and made it known I was watching them let my car sit there. It was obvious they over quoted me for the labor time and was letting the clock run to get to two hours. I don't think it's fair that they use a computer system to determine the time needed to do repairs versus, determining the time based on the mechanics skill level. I feel like I got screwed over big time. And it's not a good feeling at all

Recently took my car in to get the drive shaft fixed which cost me $400. Was told it was fixed and within an hour of me having the car back it was having the same problem. Took it back to get rechecked only to be told I'll need to get a whole new driveshaft and to get it balanced which will cost an additional $950. Asked if I could apply the original $400 to the new balance since the problem wasn't fixed and was told no that they can only take $100 off. What I don't understand is why wasn't it balanced when it was suppose to be fixed the first time? I will never take my car here again and advise anyone to stay away from this place. Very unsatisfied with the service.

I took my car to have the check engine light fixed and after a $3000 repair cost.. he did not fix it. This shop did a full brake job for my car previously and the car has a shake when braking now. I asked him to look at it and fix it too .. and that was not done. I needed the check engine light off to get my emissions for registration and am now past my birthday and my car is in a different shop being repaired because I did not receive satisfactory service, but paid a ton of money. They replaced my catalytic converter,2 02 sensors, a mass airflow sensor, gave it an oil change and replaced the front headlights with aftermarket ones I provided, and a rear taillight. This cost me $3000, but did not fix the issue. He called me and told me my car was ready and proceeded to tell me to get an emissions waiver because he knew he didn't fix what I brought the car to him for.I was completely dissatisfied with the service for all of the money I spent .Services: Auto exhaust system repair, General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair, Brakes, Oil change

Today was bitter sweet but with the best experience. Mr. Loc has been on Franklin as long as I have been in GA- specifically Marietta for 26year. I owned a fired escort and Nissan pathfinder (sad face) and BMW 3 series. He has worked on all of my cars. He is extremely informative and shares exactly what needs to fixed to keep you baby rolling in the ATL streets. He is reasonable and not shenanigans with his quote. He will look at your vehicle and call ya the same day with the diagnoses. Maaaannn listen he s amazing. Today, my 2007 pathfinder said she was done done and Mr. Loc agreed. Hung up on me twice for asking for my estimate in writing or any diagnostic in writing after I paid. Unprofessional and sneaky. If you re too nice they think you re weak for sure and try and treat you as such Lol . Use caution. Use as VERY last resort.

I had the most nasty experience with Franklin Autos. I found the Chinese guy very rude, disrespectful, highly dishonest, and untrustworthy. He s all about the money he can extract from you. I paid so much to have my car fixed only for him to leave the major things unfixed. I had to pay another auto shop to get that all fixed. When I complained to him, he was so dismissive and unapologetic. I do not advise anyone to go to this auto shop, it s a scam!

I loved this place so much! They always make sure that customers are taken care of and they never over charge. The owner and employees are all well educated in cars so you will never have to worry if your car are in bad hands. I take my Audi to them for any car work such as brake checks/replacements and oil changes. I always enjoy the conversations I have with the employees and the welcoming atmosphere! Lock has done tons of work on my vehicles in the past, as I met him when I was working at EV Honda. He was a reliable mechanic for years, but over the last few years he's grown dishonest in his diagnosis of my vehicles. Not only that, but multiple times he's wanted ME to tell him what was wrong with the vehicle, only for him to perform a service and find out that's not the issue. I'm not a mechanic, I shouldn't have to tell HIM what's wrong with it. Isn't that his job? Lock grew angry and confrontational when I approached him about his dishonest and lazy diagnosis, so I have been forced to end a 8+ year long relationship as I now feel like I can not trust him. I thought a lot had to do with the language barrier, but after his anger and frustration showed I can assure you that the language barrier is not as large as it seems.

This is my go to auto shop. Many reviews talk about the price being high, half the job being done. Since 2009 I've taken my very marginal car to Franklin Auto Service and the prices have not only been fair, they've sometimes made me wonder how they make a living. My very first experience I had to pass emissions--I needed a new catalytic converter. Everyone else quoted me $1,000 and more. He did it for $300 including the emissions tests before and after. Two years ago I needed my timing belt assembly replaced. This also means my water pump must be replaced at the same time--I'd had to have this done before in my 19 year old car's lifetime. I was expecting the usual price of about $800 or $900. He charged me $550. He's very good about telling me what looks like it will need service down the road and telling me if it's urgent, if it can wait, and how much. The only time he changed a price was once due to finding a problem that was different and in addition to my original issue. He's always professional as is his staff.

Paid 1200 dollars for absolutely nothing in my car to be fixed. The engine light was still on as I left and they didn't want to do anything about it. This was a couple months ago and now my car is completely ruined and I'm out of 1200 bucks. I was a little apprehensive because it can be very scary searching for a reliable mechanic. I went in fearful and left out a new satisfied customer. They were so kind and knowledgeable. Their prices are fair too which made me happy. While I was waiting for my car I asked a few of the customers if they liked the service here and they all had great things to say. One guy told me he has been their loyal customer for almost 20yrs. I too am very pleased with their service.

Poor quality work, will not return again.. Took my corolla there for a normal servicing for the 1st time. I needed a new starter, oil change, steering wheel alignment and new battery.... no biggie. Guy said 800 for everything. Cool.... get the car back. Cranks like a charm...... for all of 2 weeks.... starter goes out... steering wheel worse than when I took it in... at this point. I'm just never going there.

First time I've been here but let me tell you if you are in need of any car repairs Franklin Auto Repair is the place to go. Everyone there is phenomenal and repair costs are the lowest I've seen. Absolutely Great service

SCAMMER ALERT. DO NOT GO HERE. I previously had my brakes done here although a little expensive the work was good. I went a few days ago for an alternator and was quoted by Kan $535, when I called again I spoke to the owner Law quoted me $350. When I advised him of my warranty he argued me down that they wouldn't pay him the same day. When I proved him wrong and they approved his payment in less than 20 minutes I was advised that he was billing my warranty $688.00 for a part that costs $138 and he finished with 20 minutes of labor!! I confronted Law and he repeatedly lied. I made them undo the work. Don't get your car fixed by this trifling thief.

An honest and fair family owned establishment. Been bringing both my cars here for 8 years and they do excellent work for very reasonable prices. I know they'll always give me a fair assessment and not try to up-sell on anything unnecessary. Mr Ho is always kind and they stand by their work.
