Ron was very arrogant and dismissive! He is so disconnected that he hasn t noticed 2 weeks after I left his office that we decided to take our vehicle to another shop. Dude told me after the car was already on the lot and they were claiming it wasn t until I showed him pictures of it with his name written in yellow on it, It s your car man. If you want me to have the keys then it would be to your advantage to get them and bring them back to me. I chuckled as I walked out, bungee corded the bumper up, jumped the car off and drove the car, that he never knew was there, past his window on the way off the lot. 2 weeks later he sent a text stating that he s waiting on our adjuster to send him paperwork so he could give us an estimate. LOL! This guy is a true clown! Ed Voyles will never get our business again for service or anything.

It took 6 months to get my car repaired! 6 months!! And, no, the accident did not affect the front part of my car, no! My car was hit from behind and it was basically the trunk. On top of the unjustifiable delay, the communication with the "estimator" at the collision center (his first name is Chip) was far worse than poor. The completion date was postponed (with no explanations) many many times and when I tried to get an explanation, the "estimator" was either unreachable or elusive with his responses.Horrible, outrageous, frustrating, experience!

We should have read the reviews before going here. What a mistake we made. We worked with Ron, which was even more of a mistake. I thought because we were going to a dealership owned collision shop, we would be in good hands and the work would be good. We were wrong! Not only do they take three times longer than anyone else to fix your car, they are dishonest and do not care about their customers. My wife and I wish we had gone somewhere else.

I had the pleasure of working with Mark and his team. They kept me in the loop via email with the process of my car. It took almost a month for my car to be completed due to supply and demand which is understandable. How my car went in verses how I received it back I have to give them a 10 out of 10, I do recommend. I will use them again if needed. Thanks again Ed Voyles and Mark for making my baby look new again!!Services: Painting, Body & Trim, Welding

This was my second time coming here through my insurance company. The first time it took 4 months (my car was damaged pretty bad). This time they gave me 3-4 different quotes. They towed my car from my house ($300 for 30 min drive). My car went in for damage to front bumper and headlights which came up to $5,800. A lot more than my first visit. It took approximately 4 weeks. I picked up my car yesterday and my brakes are making a loud noise and my car is infested with small red ants. My estimator was Ron who is never available. I m so upset and wouldn t recommend anyone getting any work done here

This is a garbage place. One star is too high. They don't care about your time, your money, the inconvenience it causes you to not have your vehicle while it is in their care. The complete disregard for their clients is one thing but their work isn't even good. They give a different update on a MINOR issue every week or less. A couple weeks tops of work has taken them several months now. How can your estimate be this inaccurate? Are you trying to learn the repair on YouTube as you go? No, because even that would genuinely take me less time. All they care about is squeezing out a bigger insurance payout for themselves sitting around wasting time. Cute how they asked some friends to leave reviews to call them nice and even silly (?). Do not trust them with your business.

They were quick & efficient with fixing my car! Mark was the absolute best. My adjuster sucked & Mark was very helpful with trying to stay in contact with my insurance company to make sure I received my car. Mark was kind, patient & just the absolute best! Thank you for servicing my car!

We were hit by 3 vehicles on I94 in Chicago during the Labor Day weekend. My insurance gave me few options I decided to go with Ed Voyles. My initial meeting with Ron was great. My drop off didn t take long. The lady at the reception very kindly called enterprise rental for me. So far all has gone good.

I came here before in 2019 and service and communication was great so when someone hit my car again I came here and things have gone downhill. Chip is who I was assigned to and he does not communicate AT ALL. Initially he had an attitude when I called to ask about my car 2 weeks after drop off and he said he calls every Thursday to update people.. I didn't call until my 1 month car rental from my insurance company was almost up 2 weeks later. That's when he chose to inform me that I needed to contact my insurance company about price increase approvals and work on my car had been stalled for over a week. Ehen I called the insurance, the additional work was approved within a day of contacting my insurance. Imagine. Chip is extremely unreliable and plays phone games where he tells the receptionst to tell you he has stepped out or isn't in office when he knows you are calling for updates. now it's almost 2 months and I still don't have my car and I am getting absolutely no communication. If you find yourself in an accident please go elsewhere for collision services. This place isn't as good as before. They have no regard for your need for your car or the inconvenience of renting a car while paying insurance and car note for months while taking their time to fix the car you actually have a carnote on. I understand parts take time to arrive and everything but communication is always key and can go so far. Unfortunately this place is terrible at that.

Dropped my car off to get fix my my insurance company. Car was still drivable just bagged up. . Now after leaving can t even drive car. Insurance company wanted to total out my car to resale for its value. So I decided to keep my car. Now the shop had already started tearing my car down. But they could not put it back together like it was when i dropped it off. I can currently seeking legal advice because there are new damages that were not there before. Y you would need to beat the car up more I have no clue. Look at the before and after u can clearly see not nearly as bad as they gave it back to me.Service: Body & Trim

Would not do business here if you don't have to. You will not get any updates on your car or even an estimate of when the service will be finished. Tried to get in contact with someone for an update for 3 days now and I either get "he's in a meeting or I'll have him call you back" and nothing.

In this place they do a lousy, horrible job, the rear defense of my vehicle has another color to the vehicle they say that because it is plastic they can not match the color and it is installed very badly with 1/4 opening towards the body of the car, inside the trunk everything is full of splashed paint,Douglas Harry's was in charge of the repair of my vehicle, his work shows that he is a NON-PROFESSIONAL person and tried to make them see the details that they needed to rectify but they are arrogant people with whom you can not reach an understanding, that's why you have to look for another place where if they do a professional job and this place I also tried to reason with Mr. Ship who is in the loby who received my vehicle the time I had to leave my vehicle for the repairs to begin, but it turned out to be an arrogant person with whom you can not reach an understanding, if you want a junk job come here and if you are looking for a professional job look for another place and remove this place from your list of options, I write these words so that no matter what happens in this place happens to them. delete it from your list of options.

I worked with Ron for some damage to the front of my car. He kept me constantly updated while he had my car AND it was done EARLIER than expected which has never happened to me anywhere else. Id recommend Ron and Ed Voyles to anyone! Thanks Ron

I m very disappointed in the service & work that was done to my car. Mark Paschal was the service advisor. He never called to update me on the status of my vehicle. When the work was supposed to be completed it wasn t. It s going on 2 mths since the first attempt that the work was supposed to be completed and i m still waiting for parts and service. I will never refer or recommend anyone to Ed Voyle collision.Services: Painting, Body & Trim, Oil change

Not a good customer service. My State Farm person at this center never pick up his phone and always goes to his voice mail. He never calls back. Did a mediocre job for rear ended damages of my car. Currently when it rains, it leaks in trunk of my car. Trying to get hold of this rep to fix leak. When I dropped for quotation, never got a call back from rep and only got update from insurance portal about estimates. Their estimates was updated 3 times in the process. Took them 2 weeks to fix rear ended damages with still unfinished leaking in trunk issue. If you are with State Farm insurance avoid this location.

Worst experience ever. The staff is not aware of rules and regulations and they don t tell you things upfront. Had my car towed to them after running over something on the road. Once the car was there I was told I need to sign authorization papers to get the car inspected and diagnosed, however the papers they sent us had nothing to do with inspection instead they were talking about giving them authorization to do repairs and any price difference will be our responsibility and if we don t get the repairs done with them there will be fees. I would have had no problem signing these papers if we already knew what repairs we were authorizing them to do or if this truly was an authorization for inspection and diagnosis. Spoke to Chip and he was rude. Kept pressuring us to sign and at one point was straight out dismissive. I ended up getting my car towed to another shop where I didn t have to deal with such nonsense authorization and people with bad attitudes. I will definitely NEVER return here and advise others to stay clear of them as well. They don t want to help they just want your money and want to make sure they get that secured!

My 2018 Honda CRV looks spectacular and almost better than new, after a rear right collision. Thanks to John Nicholson, Walt Wheatley, Matt Razor and the Production Managers that put my car back together in the Collision Center! Thank you so much! I am glad I chose you!

Special thanks to my estimator Walt Wheatley. I appreciate your excellent communication skills, follow up and attention to detail. You did everything exactly how I wanted it, actually you went beyond my expectations, you did everything at the exact price you quoted, and delivered exactly when you promised. Thank you again Walt. Check out the the photos of my black Honda Pilot below. The detailing and paint work came out very nice. The vehicle looks new again!

Please take my mother's advice and never bring your vehicle to a big dealership. Not only was I charged almost $3, 000 for my driver's door to get replaced it took over 3 months for the repair to get settled due to insurance not wanting to cover the additional cost that they estimated. I did agree to pay the difference and maybe a week later I got a message that there is an increase on my estimate because they forgot to calculate some additional parts and labor bringing the total upwards of $700 from original estimate (I didn't know it was so expensive to color match a WHITE door.) Here I am almost two months later- not even 60 days after repair and my driver side door is scraping the paint of the front panel from their lousy work. I would take it back up there but I'm just going to take this as a $3, 000 lesson. I hope this review save someone a lot of time and money.

Bought my car at the dealership next door. I brought my car here when my wheels were stolen and my car left sitting on blocks. I did an insurance claim with Progressive. The experience was draining and frustrating. The process to replace my wheels and some light body work took a ridiculous amount of time, 48 days to be exact. I felt like it was being held hostage! While some of progressive's representatives definitely dropped the ball, Ed Voyle's staff wasn't much better in my opinion. I had to be a lot more involved than I would have liked, such as making phone calls to get issues resolved and asking for paperwork. Lack of communication, unreturned phonecalls, and last minute supplemental invoices were also issues. Probably, the typical overworked and under paid situation, but that's not my fault. On the plus side, my car looked like new when it was finally done.

It took 108 days to get fixed!! Had to return twice on things that they missed. And I still having issues with the car. It happened in 2022 and it is a 2023 car so parts were hard to get.

I have, unfortunately been the victim a few accidents and this was my third time taking my car to Ed Voyles for the repair. I worked with Ron Thompson, and he was fantastic! He communicated just like he said he would, and got my car repaired in record time. Dealing with someone else s insurance company proved to be quite a challenge, and he managed to expedite the process for me. I would highly recommend it!Service: Body & Trim

I had the absolute pleasure of working with Mark and Shontoria after I had a little accident earlier this year. The customer care and communication from start to finish was top notch! Sure, repairs are taking awhile due to the state of things but, they kept me laughing the whole way through! To top it off they managed to get all the dog hair out of my car (a true feat)- it looked as new as the day I got it when I picked it up! If I ever need to have repairs done again, Ed Voyles will be my first choice. Sincerely appreciate y all

Honestly the timeline my car spent with Ed Voyles was ridiculous! And this is taking into account the global supply chain issue .Throughout this process I ve been both patient and kind with the entire staff. Taking the time to be transparent, letting them know that I take pride in my 2021 Honda Insight purchased May of 2021. However after finally getting in the distance sensor that has been on back order (for a month of Sunday's). It s like they pieced it back together with glue. I m having to provide pictures and details of how the work isn t complete. I feel like I ve been a detective in this dumpster fire of an investigation. Turns out the piece or piece s that s missing was ordered on the estimate. They were simply never put on. The car has random rattles when the brake is applied. But I m being lead to believe my car repair is complete. From August to November my car was with them. When it was finally returned to me. There was no AC, random parts and pieces around my car. That blame was handed over to the service folks. Either way, this should be a team effort and I ve been doing my part.I have zero faith in my brand new car s resale value. I ve sent over the emails and pictures of what the complete repair looks like to about seven people within Ed Voyles including the manager of the collision department. And no response. I guess it makes sense. They already been paid. They really must get off on taking Americans hard earn money. Shame on you. During a pandemic.

I had a bad experience from the beginning. My advisor was Chip. Upon bringing my vehicle, I filled out paperwork and left my contact information. I was not called once an estimate was reached on my vehicle. Chip was very rude and had a very sarcastic tone while on the phone with me. Brittany was my point of contact because Chip was never there, always gone to lunch, never available when I called or on vacation. My car was at Ed Voyles Body Shop for 2 months. Chip was rude to me that I had to have my father speak with him. At one point, chip called me and during the conversation I told him I would have my dad follow up with him. My dad called 2 minutes after I hung up with Chip and the receptionist told my dad that Chip was not available. I called back to check and Chip answered the phone. So, I hung up and had my dad call back 1 minute later and he was told that Chip wasn't available. It was obvious that he was avoiding my dad. Brittany gave me weekly ETAs on my car. Due to parts being on back order, my father ordered the parts himself, which arrived in 3-4 days. We instructed them to use our parts because ours had arrived first. The parts were dropped off to Brittany. A week later, Chip called to inform me that my parts would not be used. I asked him why wasn't I informed the week before because the parts were already purchased and dropped off. Once I came to pick my vehicle up, I did not want tot deal with chip after 2 months of dealing with his horribly nasty attitude. With the recent car thefts of Kia, people's livelihoods are put on hold. Your vehicle is important. So to deal with someone so careless is a feeling of despair. I will never bring my vehicle to Ed Voyles Body Shop again. 08/23-10/20/22Service: Body & Trim

DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE!!! I waited a ridiculous amount of time for the initial repair(about 2.5 months), and my vehicle was returned to me with the wrong headlights. This took an additional 3 weeks for them to replace. Chip, was my contact at the shop and he exhibited terrible customer service from beginning to end. Any time I raised a concern about my vehicle and/or the lack of communication, I was immediately disregarded and rushed off the phone. This is when I asked to work with someone else and I was assisted by Shontoria. She was a nice lady, and assured me she would send my complaint about Chip to upper management and I could contact her moving forward. After no follow-up from her, I called and asked for an update on my vehicle; she laughed in my face and said she didn t know why I was calling HER for this information. And to top it all off, it appears someone poured liquid into my vehicle s display screen. This was not present prior to my vehicle being at Ed Voyles. I have not mentioned it to the shop because I can t deal with the headache and run-around any longer. DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE!!!Service: Body & Trim

Had the pleasure of working w/Ms Shontoria after a minor car accident. She was very helpful and accommodating helping me get a rental and get ahold of my insurance company. I really enjoyed speaking with her after all the work was done. It was nice to have a company do a follow up phone call. One of the nicest people I have encountered at the body shop.

I had the best experience with this collision center. They were all very friendly and extremely helpful when it came to customer service, especially Mark. My car looks flawless, even better than it did before the wreck. Mark was helping me through the whole process and I couldn t have asked for a better person to do business with. If anybody need their car fixed go to this center and ask for him!! You will leave a happy customer.
