I really appreciate the service I received at Crown Transmission. I googled transmission specialist and found the business. I called and spoke with Macy. I told him about the issues I was having with my vehicle. The dealership quoted me at $7700.00 to replace the transmission. Macy advised that before the transmission is replaced, other components should be checked first. So, he did assess the issues and changed the transmission fluid, and some other minor problems. Now my transmission shifts smoothly and works better than ever before. The dealership was not all transparent and honest. I saved a lot of time, headaches, and saved so much money with Crown Transmission. I highly recommend for anyone looking for an intelligent, sensible, honest and trustworthy transmission specialist; to compare prices and let Macy diagnose the honest and correct way. The efficient way. I appreciate the service so much and feel grateful for knowing such a man of much integrity. Thank you once again for your superb and exceptional services

My transmission in my 2013 Kia Optima failed and Macy was able to get me in sooner than he originally told me. Had my car back to me very quickly and called the day after to check in to see how everything was going with the transmission replacement. Kept me up to date throughout the whole process and recommended what should be addressed while they were in there. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing transmission repairs.

Leaving Crown Transmission is the best I have ever felt leaving an auto shop in all the 25 years I have been driving! My car "died" in the middle of Cobb Pkwy during rush hour, while it was a downpour. He was so helpful and calming. He kept in contact and got me towed quickly to his shop. He even stayed after closing hours to make sure my car was checked in and I was on my way home safely. My boyfriend was so grateful.Macy is straight forward and explains everything; he didn't try to "fix" something that didn't need to be fixed. He was able to charge my battery, explain the diagnostics and most importantly he listened to my experiences and used my knowledge to guide his process. My car didn't need a new transmission and he got me on my way driving to the next destination. He is the BEST and I would send everyone I know to him.

My experience with Macy and Crown Transmission is solely based on impression/customer service, as I have not had my car serviced with them. I called into Crown Transmission a few weeks ago, due to an issue I was experiencing with my car. By that time, I d spoken to at least 5 other transmission service companies, none of which could hold a candle to Crown Transmission. Again, my review is based off of impression. Macy was so kind! He educated me over the type of transmission that I have, informed me of the experiences I could face, he was extremely honest, and caring. Macy was most concerned about my well being, knowledge, and overall safety. I had a follow up call with him today, in which he continued to generously share his expertise and advice to help me make the most informative decision. If an issue arises in the future, I will not hesitate to bring my car to Crown Transmission, as I know that it would be in great hands based on the experiences that I have had in just these short encounters over the phone. Macy genuinely cares about people, it is evident. I cannot say enough great things about the exceptional customer service I have experienced with Macy!

I'm really sad that I couldn't have my car serviced by Crown! That says a lot about this great business! When I called, Macy was incredibly kind and up front and you could tell he cares about getting you what you need. He warned me that my 20 yr old car, based on the issues I mentioned, would cost around 4500 to fix. But he helped me work through my other options, where to market my car for sale, etc. You could tell right away he wasn't just after money, but treating his customers with charity and honesty! Crown Transmission's reputation is a result of Macy's exceptional customer service, honesty, and transparency throughout the entire process. From my very first call with Macy, I knew this is someone who had my best interests in mind for my vehicle. Macy's kindness and empathy about my situation instantly won me over and he placed an emphasis on making sure I understand and educating me in areas where I am not well-informed in. Macy even invited me into the shop the following day after I brought in my vehicle to give me some peace of mind/visibility into the overall condition of my vehicle and what his suggestion would address. Macy gave me a very reasonable quote for an estimate and held himself to the same number after he completed repairs in only three days. I was amazed on how fast Macy completed his work and I wish repairs could have taken longer just to remain in contact with Macy. Macy is personable as he is knowledgeable about the work he completes. I even took my car for an inspection at Fast East Motorworks in Chamblee and they had great compliments about the transmission Macy installed for me. You NEED to call Macy at Crown Transmission and I can assure you only then will you understand why Crown Transmission is as successful as they are. I cannot thank Crown Transmissions enough. I was very nervous about bringing my Jeep Wrangler anywhere but after talking with the owner of the shop. All of my nervousness went away. The shop towed my Jeep all the way from Dallas to their shop. The owner called me every step of the way and told me the progress. The owner even sent me pictures of what the process looks like but I was super curious about what it looks like without a transmission in the Jeep and what it looks like when the transmission is fully dissembled. Crown Transmissions also changed out my rear main seal and flywheel because why not when the Jeep has 170,000 miles, it's a good practice to do so. This is a well maintained business, they know how to treat their customers and ensure everything is perfect. Crown Transmissions earned a long term customer if I end up needing a transmission rebuilt in this Jeep again or in another vehicle. I know where I'm going to be taking my business.

I had an excellent experience with Macy at Crown Transmissions. I had a transmission issue, and my Ford dealership told me it would be 5 weeks before they could repair it. Macy had my truck fixed in less than 3 days! He communicates well and his customer service is stellar. I can confirm all the positive reviews are true. This is the only place to go if you have an issue with your transmission.

Probably one of the best experiences I have had with a mechanic servicing my vehicle. The communication is great every step of the way. They are diligent, timely and honest about the work they do on your car. Highly recommend when looking to get your transmission fixed.

I took my 2011 dodge Durango here to get my transmission replaced. He was very open and upfront with me. He recommended that I rebuild the transmission due to everything we found for a replacement had high mileage and low warranty. I need more than just my transmission done. He is very knowledgeable and price is good. If I ever need another transmission done I will definitely be going back. And will definitely refer people to go there.

It's hard to find good honest shops, but this is definitely one of the good ones! Crown Transmission truly helped us out in a very bad situation (where others would surely try to take advantage). The owner was VERY honest and transparent throughout the entire process. We are very happy with the outcome of the repair!Here is the long version... We live about 5 hors away, but our daughter attends college near Atlanta. One evening her transmission completely went out. I called several shops but got nothing but the genetic answers (none of which made me feel confident in the shops). However, after my conversation with the owner of Crown Transmissions, it was very clear that he knew what he was talking about. He was straightforward about what he would do and what his charges were for the initial diagnosis. This is why I chose this shop, and I am glad I did! After my daughter dropped off the car, the owner called and updated me at every step along the way. He also sent me pictures of everything as well. Once he had a definitive diagnosis, he told me exactly what was wrong and what my options were. I ended up calling some other shops and the dealership with the exact diagnosis and what was needed. I asked for quotes based on only those things. In the end, Crown Transmissions gave us the best price (upfront without haggling) and gave the most detailed repair description. The repair turned out great! Our daughter has put 2,000+ miles on the car since the transmission swap and there have been no issues with the transmission or the work that was performed.

The owner Macy, runs a small shop. This means he answers the phone and has an interest in every customer who walks through the door. I was fortunate enough to call him when I experienced strange behavior in an older transmission.The attention he paid to diagnosing then explaining the behavior was excellent. As we discussed the options, I was impressed that he cared more about what option made sense for me, not what would get him more business. I left feeling confident that my older vehicle still has life left and that if I need work done in the future, I know who to call.Service: Transmission

Macy is the only person in the Marietta/Atlanta area I would trust with my transmission again.Had my car stop shifting properly, thought it was going to need the dreaded transmission repair. luckily Macy was able to diagnose in a day or so that it was actually the speed sensors that needed replaced. told us it would be done by friday but was done the next day no issues whatsoever. Car still is working properly and he wasnt someone who is going to try and jack up prices on you. Also showed the broken parts he replaced to show us that it really was an issue that needed to be resolved. hands down one of the better mechanics ive gone to and will go back if i need transmission work againService: Transmission

Mr. Macy is awesome!! I came in to get a second opinion after the dealership told me my car needed a new transmission which was over $5,000. Not to mention I just spent over $2,000 for other repairs they swore I needed. Only to misdiagnose my car. My dad told me to find a transmission shop that specializes only in transmissions. I am from the Marietta area so I when I came across Crown Transmission I was very impressed by the previous reviews. I called the shop and got the owner Mr. Macy himself. He was very kind and very knowledgeable when it comes to transmissions. He told me to bring my car in and he would do his best and all he could to help me. Well he definitely did that and more. He called me back and explained what was going on with my car & and the repairs he needed to make. He had my car fixed within 2 days and it runs like a brand new car. I am so thankful for the service I received and Mr. Macy is truly a blessing. Saved me car and my pockets. I would 100% recommend anyone with transmission issues to come get a second opinion here with Mr. Macy, he is fair and it could save you 1,000s of dollars. I Highly Recommended. Crown Transmission! The transmission on my 2006 Nissan Titan went out around 11:00 PM. I called Macy the next morning. He arranged pick up for my truck and was able to find me the best affordable option for my Vehicle. It was a stressful situation but Macy was great and really helped ease my mind. I had an amazing experience here and worked with the owner one on one to figure out my transmission issues. They were honest and transparent with their process of diagnosis and kept in close communication throughout the process along with asking for approval, and giving estimates along the way.Once the fixes were made I went and paid. I got into an amazing conversation with the owner about personal life experiences and he gave me great outlooks and advice; he also took me to my vehicle and showed me exactly what they did and even pointed out other concerns that had nothing to do with their line of business.Thank you Crown Transmission, so much for the great customer service and repairs on my vehicle. Mr Macy took great care of me after another shop told me I needed a new transmission. Crown did the proper testing and diagnostics to track down the problem, which ended up being much simpler than replacing a transmission! Macy is the absolute BEST in the business! I contacted Crown Transmission after receiving a misdiagnosis from a nearby dealership. The dealership was adamant that my vehicle s transmission needed replacing, which would have been a $8k expense. I contacted Macy at Crown Transmission for a second opinion. Macy promptly diagnosed my vehicle. As it turned out, my vehicle needed a sensor not a full transmission replacement as the dealership indicated. As a result, my repair with Crown Transmission was a fraction of the dealership quote. Additionally, Macy s team completed my repair within 24 hrs. My car now runs exceptionally well. Back in 2017 Crown rebuilt the transmission on my Nissan Titan with about 300k miles. Drove it another 25k before selling with no issue. A few months ago, they rebuilt my wife's transmission in her 2009 Honda Odyssey and added a separate cooler. So far it is still running great. A couple of months ago, Crown looked at my Father's Lincoln MKZ. The dealership told him a new transmission was needed. Macy and his team at Crown simply replaced the motor mounts (all that was really needed) for thousands of dollars less. They may be hard to find and nothing flashy or special looking, but good work at reasonable pricing.Service: Transmission
