Kyle was very friendly and helpful from the start of us arriving.He wasn t too pushy but he was knowledgeable on the trailers we wanted to look into.Made understanding the finance part easy.Very quick and easy buy! 100% recommend Kyle at Big Tex!

Mike at the supply counter is the MAN I had an accident with my trailer and needed some assistance getting the parts, because everywhere I called didn t have it or didnt go the extra mile but he did. And I walked out his store a very happy customer. Thanks Mike

Scaly Hall was great! Have a good price on 14GX, no BS. Picked up trailer the next day. The yard staff was great in giving walk around of trailer and helping hook up to truck. I will certainly be buying my next trailer from Scott again.

REPAIR EXPERIENCE: I brought my trailer in for a wiring repair (dealer addressed, not warranty). The trailer was only a couple months old and the right rear tail light was shorting and draining the emergency break-away battery. Apparently water got in somewhere.The dealer treated me professionally, completed the fix in the time committed, and followed up with me promptly when it was ready. I did not have to call for status updates. When I picked up the trailer, the emergence break-away cable fell off the tongue and got under the foot of the jack when they staged it for me. It tore some of the metal strands and ripped off the vinyl protective sheathing. The guys on-site, quickly replaced the cable and got me on my way.I raised my original rating from 1 star to 3 stars. I hope (and want) my experiences with this dealer continue to improve. Perhaps my purchasing experience was just an anomaly.Comment to BigTex, the manufacturer not this dealer. Improve your wiring. You have a good brand. The wiring job on my trailer is terrible. Exposed stripped brake wires, lots of chafing opportunity for unprotected wires, wires stretched too tight, poor connectors which are not weather tight. Come on BigTex. Be the heavy duty, hard working trailer of the brand image you want. Your wiring is unacceptable. I hope you are listening. Need other feedback, do a simple internet search.PURCHASE EXPERIENCE: I m glad I bought the trailer I bought. I m disappointed that I bought it from this dealer. They had opportunities to do a better job. They didn t care. I was required to sign a document that acknowledged I understood that I needed to check the lug nut torque after so many miles. I asked three times for the torque spec and they never provided it. They didn t have it. They don t torque them . they just crank on them with an impact driver.They did not provide an owner s manual for the trailer or the axels. No maintenance guide. Nothing. They did not even offer internet links to the documents needed so you know how to lubricate the bearings, where to find the jack points and change a tire, change a lamp, relevant safety precautions, and torquing the lug nuts for example. The best the manager would do is tell us to search the internet for answers. Seriously? He s the dealer. Shouldn t he have this stuff available for the buyers so they know they have the right information? The average person may not know to ask these questions and assuredly will find the wrong information randomly searching the internet.I just paid a lot of money for a new trailer and got no documentation except the receipt and title as required by law, and a QR code to do this survey. I normally don t do surveys that require an account. I m doing this one.Upon getting home, I checked the tire pressures. They were all over the place. None were the same. The tire that was significantly over pressure was 25 psi different from the tire that was under pressure.Parts on the safety chains were bent up. These were easily replaced but took too much effort to get parts in good condition for my NEW trailer. It was like they were reluctantly doing me a favor.The guys doing the work on the lot were friendly and helpful, but they were obviously not trained and not held to any standards. There were parts and tools scattered all over the lot.

We had been looking for a specific trailer, 5 wheel, big tex 25GN 25+5, mega ramps.Had called several places, BT dealers, and either wouldn't get called back, or they weren't interested in sourcing, only selling from their current inventory.Called, got Scott, he got it all lined up in about an hour, deal closed and our truck that has the gooseneck was down, and Scott had it delivered.Amazing customer service, and great communication.

The employees knew their stuff and were very no-nonsense, which was nice because I just wanted to get something and get out of there. Left with everything I needed to run right to the tag office to get my tag instantly. Trailer I got works great (the 60PI)They also have accessories you might need, hitches and drop hitches, locks, etc

I had a wonderful experience both trading in a used bumper pull dump trailer and purchasing a gooseneck dump Big Tex. Angelo was great to work with as was John who helped with getting the paperwork right and making sure that my truck was correctly hooked up and that everything worked as expected. It s refreshing to do business with a stand up company. I ve owned several Big Tex trailers and never been disappointed. Thank you!!
