I had them install a remanufactured 6.0 l engine in my 03 suburban, which had over 336,000 miles on it. It runs great . They stand behind their work. As you know, parts today do not have quality control as the USA parts did years ago. I had an issue with the knock sensor. They said to bring it in. I did. They went in and fixed it. They all have been so nice. I highly recommend them.

Currently in the market for a new crate motor and install, but after reading these comments I am hesitant! Would like to know where the unsatisfied clients had to go to to fix the install issues.

I'm so happy that I found this business! The owner Tom, is truly a gem. His crew are also wonderful, knowledgeable guys. Tom and his mechanics took the scary part out of the decision on whether to replace my engine or buy another car. I couldn't be happier with my decision. Great workmanship, outstanding communication, honesty and integrity. Very hard to find those qualities in businesses. I would highly recommend this business. Great service at every turn.

BEWARE! We just paid over $6000 to have a new engine put in our Jeep. They messed up the clutch installation and there is an oil leak coming from the new engine. Instead of correcting their mistake immediately, they keep pushing us to the back of the line. It s been over two weeks. They have actually complained about the labor cost to repair THEIR mistake so now they want us to take it somewhere else to have the exhaust system dropped and towed back and forth so they don t have to spend as long repairing their mistake. The inconvenience and cost is all on us!!!! As of yet, they are NOT standing behind their work without added time and expense to us.

American Engine Installations did a great job with my engine swap in a 2014 Dodge Challenger. Prices were better then all of their competitors. I was running late to pick up yesterday and they were planning on waiting past close for me, when 285 was shut down I wasn t going to be able to make it so they opened up on a Saturday just so I could get back in my car sooner and not have to wait until Monday. Highly recommend if you need a new motor!

I had American Engine Installations replace my 5.7 (350) vortec in my 1999 Tahoe. I also had them replace some peripheral parts to give my Tahoe the best chance to live another 21 years. They don't charge labor for the peripheral parts install since they would need to switch over the old parts to the new engine anyway. Tom (owner) and Scott (manager) are great people as is Johnny the tec that did the replacement. It's an engine installation garage so don't expect everything to be pretty there. They can and do engine installs on all kinds and years of vehicles and they do it well, good mechanics there. The price was good and the job was done right. I recommend this place.

Called to get a labor estimate, couldnt even get that. They asked how many miles the new engine had on it, i told them i was still shopping for one (didnt have it). Said they wouldnt be able to do the job....like what!!??

Super nice guys. Fair price and good service. I had a 3.5l engine swapped in my Explorer and I never had a bad feeling here. I got cheated by another mechanic in Marietta but these guys are great.

I don t see how he s got a 4 1/2 star! I m 1 of the hardest humans to please and I m more than pleased! This guy is what everyone is looking for u promise you! When i say i do homework and I ve had many many experiences i mean that! He exceeds my expectations everytime and is going to stand behind his work 100 percent! This review was long overdue and I ve been feeling bad for not having it done by now because when I m mistreated i run on here but when someone treats you like these guys everytime and you never have to worry because you know he s not going to fight you on anything and is going to make sure you re happy when you leave! He s so incredible he repaired something on the spot that wasn t really even his fault but just wanted to make me happy! These guys deserve a 5 million star in telling you! Look up my reviews and you will see I m a hard critic! I highly highly recommend American engine!!

Currently unhappy with the service received. New engine installed on our Ford F-150 costing us $5,000. Found out that installation was improperly done when the engine cut off in the middle of driving while out of state. It could have been a major accident but was able to get to the side of the road. Have visited 3 different mechanics (2 Ford dealerships) to find out that the wires were crossed and the wire harness was pinched during installation. $1800 later we are hoping no more installation issues will pop up. Very displeased with service but currently working with the Owner to see if he will reimburse us for the extra money spent due to bad installation. I will update this review after working with the shop to let you know the end result on customer satisfaction!

These guys do great work. Needed a new engine for my Lexus, and they found one, installed it, and did a great job all the way around. Very glad I found their web site. Thanks Tom.

They replaced the engine in my 2002 Xterra. It was a great experience. The price was lower than anywhere else. The engine runs great. I highly recommend them.
