If I could, I would give Yancey Tire 100 stars! These folks are nothing less than the greatest people you could ever have work on your car. We were traveling on I75 and had a tire issue that was making our SUV shake like Elvis! We stopped at Yancy and David helped us immediately..He got us back on the road safely as quick as possible and I m so grateful that we ended up stopping there. I wish we lived in Macon so we could go to them for all of our Tire and auto repair! The lady that works in the office was so great too! These folks are the best!

Yancey Tire treated me great. I was in and out with four tires and a alignment within an hour and fifteen minutes. Tires are great and the alignment is good. Hats off to Bill and Donna. The only other thing that would have made this experience better is a military discount. I'm very pleased with the service.

Just had to drop in at Yancey Tire and Auto service and we had an amazing experience! David got us right in and taken care of. Cody was very helpful too. I didn t catch the sweet lady s name in the office but she is such a jewel. Chatted with her while we waited. We were in and out in no time and I highly recommend this place to anyone! Excellent service and very kind people. What a blessing. Thank you!

Service was completed in a day. Had to schedule an appointment in advance but that is a good thing. Means he is so busy taking care of other vehicles I needed to get in line. When that happens it shows others trust him too. Overall I recommend.

The staff here is so friendly! I called with a few concerns and I could tell they cared and would help me. I was able to drop my car off that morning, and was assured they would call soon.

Hands down the BEST SERVICE I have received in a LONG time. Ms. Donna is courteous and welcoming. Bill is informative and a true gentleman. I felt at ease asking questions and best of all I was not offered any service(s) my vehicle didn't need. They installed tires I brought in & changed my oil in less than 1.5 hours (without an appointment).Thank you to all at Yancey... I will be back!

Absolutely awesome. Our vans brakes started scraping while on our way to Florida from Indiana. Bill understood our situation and did everything he could to get us in and repaired. Didn t take advantage of our situation in any way. He even took time to explain what might have occurred to cause 1 brake pad to fail while the rest were in good shape. Many regular customers came in and all spoke highly of this shop. Very thankful to have ended up here! Thanks again Yanceys!

I have been using one of their competitors in town for the last 16 years. I decided to try this place because it is close, a small local business and the reviews are great. I took my car to get an oil change and an estimate on new tires. Had my wife follow me so I could leave the car as long as they needed to get to it. An older lady waited on me and asked me what I wanted. I already knew she did not want to be bothered. I said I needed an oil change and that was as far as I got. She said I know you don't think we will be able to do that today, then kept on about we have got to put a sign in the front door saying no walk in oil changes. Repeated it all for good measure in a very hateful tone. I was a first time customer so I was not aware you had to have an appointment. I told her her that I had changed my mind and decided I would try somewhere else.

I accompanied my mother while she was in the area and decided to get her oil changed while nearby. She has been a loyal customer for 3 years and was referred by a close friend. (It s significantly out of the way for her, but was previously so impressed, she made an effort to seek them out).It all started innocent enough. We called to make sure they had time for an oil change and they said something like sure, no problem, bring it on in.So we brought the car in, they pulled it into the garage, and started working on it quickly. We were the only customers actively waiting, though I believe there was another car in the garage they were working on as well. The owner told us to come outside with him and look at the tires that needed replacing. No problem, we ll try to get that done today if possible. My mother s previous set of tires was guaranteed by the manufacturer and also purchased from Yancy s. He said he would have to look it up to see what it was guaranteed for. No problem, we ll wait. But he was frantically walking around and kept saying we ll have to look it up about 5x over the next 5 minutes. When we said ok. We reminded him we were out of town and would like to get it done today and there was still push back about looking it up (mind you we are the only customer actively waiting!).At this point I believe his mother, who was working as cashier and secretary got actively involved while the owner, Bill went back into the garage. She ranted and raved about the guarantee on the tire for far too long. She went on about how her son shouldn t give guarantees and that his father never did...on...and on... and on... and on. She then preceded to complain about looking up our record. She complained far longer than the 90 seconds it took her to find the record. Mumbling things like, this better be the name it s under. Blah ... blah... blah.It s at this point I look at my mother and whisper why do you make an effort to get your oil and tires here, this is some of the worst customer service I ve ever had, if not the worst, with his mother being rude and at times delirious, and the owner being frantic and haphazard. My mother had never experience similar service while at this establishment. His mother happens to work on Wednesdays and my mother typically works on Wednesdays and had not come into contact with her. She was what made up the majority of this poor experience. She is driving away customers and she should be kept at home away from interacting with customers.

We had good luck with this shop, until they cross threaded our lug nuts and then were unable to fit us in to fix it. We have one car and can't leave it for 3 days while they work on it. To top it all off, the owner insists that it is impossible to cross thread lug nuts!! We went to a different shop and had it fixed in one day!! Yancey's refused to admit their error or reimburse us for the fix. Steer clear!!

I came to Yancey and wanted them to change my 24inch rims and put on my 20 inch factory rims, as the guy came to my truck I thought for sure he was going to say nope we don't have a machine to fit 24 inch rims, or something like that for sure but instead he told me SURE we can do that for u! I started smiling from ear to ear because all the tire shops in Macon told me No, it took them only about 20 minutes if that. I was very pleased with the work and customer service and the price was awesome, they will be getting my business from now on!!!!!

On our way through Georgia on a mother daughter road trip, we seemed to have a leak in one tire. I googled tire repair and found this small family owned company. We arrived and there was zero wait. They took the tire off and found not 1, but 2 nails in it. Plugged them and $15.00 and 10 minutes we were off onto the rest of our trip. They were so friendly and helpful. Would recommend them to everyone..

I trust these guys. David and Bill are the best guys out there. My truck looks great. If you want your car/truck done right, take it to Yancey. Their daddy taught them well.

Honest, reliable timely service. Used for years now. Many times they have gone out of their way to save me money. If they seem slow sometimes, that is a high workload on a busy day. I'm only bothering to review 3 auto services. Yancey's, Chapman Transmission, Franklin Battery. One word review? TRUST.

Yancey is one of the best places in town for a quick and efficient oil change at a competitive price. If you are looking for dependable, friendly, and knowledgeable service you can't go wrong coming here for new tires and oil changes.

Went to get Alignment because my steering was off. However, I was notified that it was Rack and pinion bushings. I was happy that I didn't have to pay for a service that wasn't going to solve anything.

Axle broke on 75S .Googled Yancey & towed the car there. They fixed the problem, held our car for the week until we returned, price was fair & we drove home with no problem.

I trust these people completely, a family company, not some corporate conglomerate. I recommend them to everyone I know. Key word, TRUST. And this is so hard to come by these days. Yancey will treat you right.

Would not recommend. Was lied to about work done and the people was very rude on the phone and in person. Was told they couldn't fix my car because it was a peice of junk after they took my money. They didn't offer any help at all.
