Best service in town. Chris and Michelle are the best in the business we have Gotten all our cars serviced here ...Highly recommend. Very knowledgeable staff. The owners treat everyone with kindness. Love this place 12 stars

While I didn't end up getting a repair I dropped my car off for a transmission flush. Instead of doing it and getting his money he called and said it might need more and not only didn't charge me anything but even recommended another mechanic I could go to. I appreciate his honesty and kindness. If I ever have an issue I'll be going to him first and recommend you do the same.

Was having a very bad day after all of the lights came on my 2014 Santa Fe discovered it was the alternator. :-( Walked into Northside Tire and Jerry SAVED THE DAY! Dropped the vehicle off and 6 hours later it was running smooth as ever! GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE event with the boss is not around! Happy New Years Jerry and the Techs and Northside Tire.

I brought my car here because I thought my battery may be bad. Jerry was fantastic and kept me informed throughout the whole process. It turned out my starter needed to be replaced. He did replace my battery as well. Very kind and pleasant, I will definitely use this place in the future! Highly recommend!

Our Thanksgiving trip up to Atlanta came to a screeching halt a few miles away from the Macon by-pass. When hitting something on the road created a 2-inch hole on the wall of our front tire, it's a miracle that nothing more catastrophic than having to change a tire on the side of the road on a dark highway happened (No - roadside assistance was dispatched but not arrived, and we just got tired of waiting). The aftermath is having to spend an unscheduled night in a Macon hotel, and the daunting task of finding a couple of what we told were "odd-sized" tires in the morning. After several calls, I came upon Michelle at Northside, who said that tires could arrive at their store in a couple of hours. The price seemed pretty reasonable compared to two other stores I spoke with. We arrived earlier than the appointed time when the tires would be coming from the warehouse, and was fearful it's going to take a while. Some 90 minutes later, we were pleasantly surprised to get the message that we were ready to go! More impressively, even though we had told them what happened, and asked them to check the alignment (in other words, a perfect opportunity to perform an alignment whether we needed it or not, and charge us for it), we were told that the alignment was fine! They cleaned the wheels, and even put the jack away for us! I hope I won't have the occasion to patronize them again any time soon, but if you're in the same area, or, God forbid, the same predicament, go see these fine folks in Macon.

Took my truck in for service after years of dealing with the local Ford dealer. Bought a set of four tires and had brakes put on my truck. The team helped me out and we found a great price. Service was awesome and my truck runs like a dream. Definitely will recommend to others.

Very professional and friendly. Got 4 Michelin tires and a oil change and paid less than I was quoted by phone, usually goes the other way around to pay more than you are quoted. Very pleased I will do business with them again not just for the low prices. I strongly recommend them.

Right before leaving for a trip from Southern, Indiana to Macon, Georgia, I had the front tires replaced on my car. I got on the road for the trip to Macon and the car was pulling to the left. The previous tires had a "rubbing noise" and I realized I had the symptoms that the car needed a front end alignment.I made it to Macon (wrestling the car all the way). Northside Tire was recommended by my mother. I took the car to Northside Tire and spoke to Jerry. He said he could have it done in about 2 hours. When I got back to my mom's I saw all the negative google reviews and was a bit concerned. I even had thoughts of going back to get the car. I decided not to. They did have one good review on Yelp! I figured I'd give them the benefit of a doubt. Two hours later as promised, Jerry called and said the car was ready. I went and picked the car up and it drove like a dream, no more pulling to the left. The front end alignment was the issue. I made the trip home with out any issues. Quick Service, reasonably priced. Jerry was courteous and attentive to my needs and questions. All in all it was a great experience. I would recommend them for services on your vehicle.

Very friendly and honest...brought in a vehicle I bought used and found out it had several different pieces from different model years. All the staff were very helpful and I felt like they took the time to understand exactly what was needed to fix the issues. Would recommend this shop to anyone in the area looking for a mechanic that's reasonable and honest.

Chris Forehand, his wife Michelle, and their team ALWAYS treat us so well. They work with honesty and integrity. I've patronized them for 11 years, with 7 vehicles (SUV, minivan, pickup truck & sedans) and haven't even considered going anywhere else!

Be aware and check your alignments before you leave. Northside tire did half a alignment on my truck , deflated one of my rear tires just to make my vehicle look like it was aligned. I took it to another shop to have more worked installed and was shown that I was given half a alignment which was just camber.Northside tire switch the one front tire that was balding because the alignment only to make both front tires go bald now due to not doing a complete alignment. On top of that I was charged 100 dollars for alignment knowing they don't have the tools capable of aligning a 1ton Dually truck. So they did a half job of what they could and told me I was aligned. My truck still pulled and never felt aligned but they made it look aligned by doing enough to fool me. 3 tires later I'm still trying to correct everything that was ruined by Northside tire. Due to faulty alignment I also have to repair ball joints because they ruined them trying to make my vehicle LOOK aligned not drive aligned. Be aware they can not align trucks I know for sure especially Dually but they will tell you they can. It has been a nightmare since I entered that place. Please have someone check your alignment once u leave. You will def have done whatever it is to look aligned. They even charged me to balance a tire saying it was my tire but they balanced them previously. Be aware this place is very shady and deflating one of my tires so my vehicle drives more to a certain way proves they don't care about your safety!

I have taken my cars to Chris and Jerry for years. I bought a 3000 GT that was in bad shape mechanically and they fixed it up right. It drives like a NEW one now. They even gave me a ride home and picked me up! They give great prices on tires also! All 3 of my vehicles go there! No problems here. Great family owned Auto shop.

Northside Tire is a great place to take your car. I had a horrible experience at pep boys here in Macon with simply balancing my tiers and I had took it back to them 3 different time and they could not get it rite and then they had the nerve to charge me the 3rd time. But Chris at Northside tire took my car for a test drive and figured out the issue ASAP!!! It only took him 1 time to get it correct and my car was riding better then before. I definitely would recommend them tooo all my friends, family and anyone looking for a place to go and have a wonderful experience. Not to mention Michelle the lady at the front desk is very knowledgeable and will make you feel rite at home.

Now! They are my automobile mechanic number one with me. I've been with Mr Jerry the owner of this company for more than 6 years there the best. Not just tires they do the whole nine yards on a vehicle visiting them when you have a chance.

I can't say enough nice things about this place and everyone that works there! Michelle, Chris and Jerry are always so polite, helpful and accomodating! Their customer service and prices can't be beat! I had a last minute tire emergency. They hopped right on it! I highly recommend their services!

I m an Uber driver and lease my car through Uber s Xchange Leasing program, which has a maintenance account (with Northside being one of the approved mechanics) that pays for tire rotation and oil changes. Have been using them each time for the last 7 months. Had a fuel pump go out which was under Uber s warrenty program and they drug their feet 4 days) and ignored my complaint that the new fuel pump was (is) not performing properly).The first time I took the car to them, the owner told me there were 4 studs broken off on a couple of my wheels. So this was something also covered by that warrenty since the car was like that when I got the car. All he had to do was call the warrenty department to get approval. 3 weeks later he d still not done it after I had called to check about 5-6 times, said he d call and get put on hold for a long time (every time I call them, they answer within 1 minute). He was honest after the first week, said he just forgot. After that, I finally realized that it was just not very urgent to him and decided to have my maintenance and other work done elsewhere. When I told him that the last time we talked, he had the gall to hang up on me.So I m at Tires Plus (who I d been using for the last 6 years prior to becoming an Uber driver 7 months ago (luckily they re on the national account list through Uber s leasing company) for my oil change and rotation, and they can t do it because Northside Tire stripped out my oil pan nut and I need a new oil pan.I also just found out by my new place that there are not 4 broken studs, just 1 and another missing lug nut. Hmmmm, that means I was also lied to. Makes me wonder what else I ve been lied to about.

Mr Chris always provides quality repairs at a fair price, they have taken care of me, co workers and friends I have sent there for reliable work. If your looking for a real honest repair shop I suggest them highly.

I am a Director of Sales for a home improvement/construction company and had an event Saturday and a sales training this morning here in Macon. Picked up a nail on the trip and had a moderate leak (maybe dropped 15-20 pounds per day). Had a previous "discount"tire company tell me "Sorry, sir, we couldn't fix it" and went right into a pitch to sell me a tire. Payday is next week so I decided to keep rolling and try and make it home with refills of air or the emergency spare (I am about 4 hours from home). Woke up this morning and took it to Northside Tire after one of my sales reps here in town recommended them. I showed up just after they opened and was welcomed in. I shared my story saying I could leave it if necessary as I had a 9am meeting and was getting ready to call Uber to make my meeting when they pulled it back around and charged me $15. Less than 10 minutes. As I have business here once a month at minimum, I will come back here and order my new tires from these guys because they were HONEST, as opposed to the aforementioned discount tire place advertising free air and cheap service. The service I received today was far from cheap even though it was cost effective today--it was priceless. Mcthats how you earn and keep business. 5-Stars!!

helpful and honest. I thought I would need a new tire or at minimum a patch due to a screw in the tire. They helped me out and determined nothing was needed and sent me away without any charge. Pretty impressive given the current decrease in business we have all experienced from COVID.

Awesome all around tire and mechanic shop! I have been using them for years and have always gotten great customer service and good pricing. They are always honest and transparent about what the problem is and never try to sell me anything that I do not need. I would highly recommend them.

Haven't needed tires but always get oil changes there. Reasonable price, reliable, friendly. Sometimes a little busy but to me that's a good sign! Highly recommend.

You'll find excellent service from the crew at Northside. Quick, to the point, and fair. Also have used vehicles for sale if your looking to pick up a older car with good maintenance at a fair price.

Bought new tires at this store years ago, have enjoyed the tires and have kept them rotated and balanced at this location since. Chose to use them for some repair services and found them to be a bit on the expensive side compared to other auto repair places who I now do business with.Had tires rotated and balanced yesterday. Today I found one of my lug nuts on the driveway. I checked the other lugs and found one other, on the same tire, loose. All other lugs were fine.Thank God I found the lug in my drive before the tire began to work its way loose.I am sure the store will hear about this poor quality and potentially dangerous service given me, but in the meantime, if you choose to use this place, compare prices before having work done and check your tires before you drive off.

They don't even deserve one star. I took my BMW there to have a tire patched and they patched they tire. I go to get in my car and my drivers window is rolled all the way down and the door handle is hanging off my door. The owner said that he didn't break it even though he had to roll my window down to open the door from the inside. Funny, I haven't had to do that for the two and half years I've owned the car. He then became argumentative and aggressive. He got in the car to take it to the back when the door handle was attached to the car. His only argument was that "he's been in this business for years!" He then had the audacity to tell me he would give me a quote to fix it.How does a tenure in a business release you from any liability from your wrong doings? Oh well, see you in magistrate court, if you even know what that means. Im guessing youll get a judgment in the mail.

Service was not what I expected. My appointment was for 10:00 am, to have my new tires put on, and they did not have my tires there. Had to wait a hour or more for my tires to be delivered from a warehouse. I had this appointment for a week. Should of had my tires there.

These People Are Truly A Blessing . They Really Helped Me && Boyfriend When It Came To Fixing Our Car . They Have Really Great Service , Good Pricing , && Amazing Workers . I Feel Like They Deserve More Service && People Should Come Here If They Want Anything Done To Their Car .

There service is horrible they do not answer the phone the only reason there are a lot of cars there because mechanics take there sweet time this the first and the last time i will bring my car to you all i am a young mechanic myself and if your working the way you say you are there no reason you should be this backed up if you are backed up higher are employees instead of being money hungry trine rack in all the dough alone that being said this is a horrible place to take your car . i dropped my car off and have not received a call or anything every time i or my children mother call were given the run around when i first brought my car in he told me 3 days after 3 days i called noticing i haven't received a call by noon on the 3rd day after i called i was told it would be done in three more days well now its been 2 whole weeks so hopefully i receive a call next week cause as i called earlier this week i was told it was gonna be ready this friday well i pray i see my vehicle next week Monday morning knowing how people are there going to read this n deny me service but honestly this is the truth thats was reviews are for this is the experience u all gave me and I'm letting it be known so if i receive my car and its not repaired i hope northside has lawyers like i said I'm a mechanic myself and the only reason i didn't fix it myself is I work full time at clorox in Atlanta and just recently moved to macon for my children safety this the first auto shop I've tried in macon so far and at the rate its going looks like ill be working on my own vehicle after this.

They tried to charge me to much for labor on my brakes an I had my own they asked for 130 with nothin then 100 with my own stuff I got it done for 35 bucks

Stop to get a tire plug, and the owner was Rude nasty told me to immediately get of his property he's very prejudice towards black people.
