Fast service in a pinch! When all other auto shops were closed on Sunday on our latest road trip, lam auto repair came to us within the hour to get us back on the road almost instantly! Owner was kind and helpful, couldn t recommend them more

I am not happy with the work Izzy did for me. He installed a wheel bearing but when I took my car for a drive next day, there was a constant metal to metal scraping sound. He said that he forgot to put the brake pad correctly and that he will come next day to take care of it. It has been nine days and each time he said he is coming he doesn't not show up. The worst customer service!

I recently had engine problems with my Honda Pilot and googled for engine repair work. I found Lam and they came out to my place. They found the issue with my spark plugs, and my engine coils for a fair price.After getting all the parts they had my car sounding better than it was prior. They also did the oil change on the Pilot and my Camry after they were done.I already got him lined up to do some brake work later. This is my first experience with a mobile mechanic and he made it worthwhile.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair, Oil change

I needed my alternator fixed asap on a saturday afternoon and he came right away, got me my parts, and fixed it on the spot for a good price. i definitely recommend him! he did a good job.

LAM AutomotiveI don t do reviews, but this was a TERRIBLE experience..Let me start by saying, supporting black business is overrated.. I made the call to LAM Auto Repair to have some work done on my 1983 Volvo classic.. Spoke with Izzy & scheduled a time & $70 engine diagnostic.. He came out, didn t find the issue, but did a partial tune up.. Charged me $280 for replacing a valve cover gasket, spark plugs, wires & distributor cap, but I had all the parts.. The valve cover gasket still leaked cause he didn t put enough sealant on it.. He didn t know how to fit the plug harness over the spark plugs, so he broke one trying to bootleg fit it.. Now I got 3 good & 1 bootleg spark plug harness.. All he had to do was unscrew the tip of the spark plugs to make them fit.. Not to forget he had the firing order wrong & had to adjust it.. Had my 83 classic sounding like a truck.. He also suggested replacing the fuel pump until I showed him the old one was replaced already.. So be careful trying to support unrealiable black businesses.. This one just wanted the money but lacked the proper knowledge, honesty, professionalism & integrity..

Seem like every indicator in my van lite up at one time and found Lam and the young man came out the same day diagnosed the problem and had me back on the road in less then two hours definitely planning to be a repeat customer thank you

I contacted him for work. He showed interest at first giving me a quote and a time he could do it but completely wasted my time as he stopped answering his phone. Could of just said he was busy and couldn't do it but he doesn't respect other people's time.

I had a little structural damage to my front-end passenger side on a 2019 Elantra. I took it to a larger brand name company in Macon and had my control arm replaced because it was bent. They told me that I had damage to the control arm, ball joints, and that there was a gouge in the rotor. For some reason, they said that they couldn't find a rotor and never replaced it.For the price that I paid, I wasn't satisfied with the service... $1,000 is a lot these days, and I'm sure we're all feeling the crunch on finances. So, I looked around for other auto repair services in Macon, Ga, and came across LAM Auto Repair.I called him and talked to him about my truck, and he gave me confidence that he could fix it fast and at an extremely reasonable price. This is a different vehicle, mind you, and my side project.Yesterday, the grinding sound started on my Elantra from wearing out my break pads because of the gouge in my rotor.Now y'all, this is where it gets good. I'm telling you now. If you need automotive repair, you need to work with LAM.I told him that I needed to have my rotor and break pads repaired, but I had to be at work a little later. He gave me a quote over the phone, asked for my address, got the parts, met me at my house about 10min after I got home, replaced the passenger side rotor, and replaced both driver and passenger side brake pads in less than an hour. Competively priced under the big name shop quotes, but at an extremely high level of quality service. It's better than what I've come across...I will definitely be using him again, and you should, too. LAM Auto Repair is professional, fast, convenient, and the prices... You can't find them better, I can guarantee that.I'm ready to get my side project done next. I am planning to swap out my engine and transmission on my Dodge Ram 1500, and LAM will be the auto service I use.I'm extremely happy about this mornings service, so I this review is a book, sorry. Just try him out and leave your own 5-star review.

Called Izzy on Friday. He states that he would come Monday. Gave me a time and a rough estimate of the pricing and what he thought it would be. After evaluation, found that it was something else. Parts ordered, picked up the next day when they arrived and was installed when he said he would be there. The price was good considering he came to my house. I would definitely use him again!Service: Auto water leak repair
