Just a group of good, helpful people. I was on my way from Atlanta to Savannah when I noticed a problem with my brakes. I stopped by to get it checked. Ryan at the front desk was very caring and nice. They took care of the issue very quickly even though they were very busy at a minimal cost. I'd take my car here for services if it wasn't 2 hours away.

My first impression was actually positive. The people seemed nice. They got me in and did some front in work. When I went to pick up my truck they stated they did a test drive which they didn't. I got in my truck and once I stepped on the gas the throttle got stuck and I almost went through the stop light.I brought it back they were able to get it taken care. I get home but things still didn't feel right. So i called back to let them know. I also noticed this bar hanging down in the front of my truck and noticed it didn't have any bolts in it (it was the sway bar). They had completely forgot to reattach the sway bar. When I brought it back the mechanic took it back into the shop. Couldn't find the bolts and bolted it back together with mix match bolts and screws. He said that would hold it for now....really??So i brought it back later to get the right bolts installed. When I brought it back to the shop Donna (who I believe is the owner) tried to tell me they never unbolted the sway bar even though they had replaced all the sway bar links and several other things around it (see invoice below). Then to top it off they said whats wrong with the mix match bolts and screws they used to reattach it.I went into the shop wanting something simple. To put in the right bolts back in and diagnose a leak that started after the sway bar was grinding into everything due to not being reattached. But they refused stating it wasn't their fault.It was pretty obvious what happened and the owner had no problem looking me in the eye saying it wasn't their issue. Now I'm stuck with these miss matched bolts and screw and a leak I believe was caused by the sway bar not getting attached.Very sad when a local business treats people this way!

Ryan and his team take the best care of my family and our cars. They re always just a call away, and they re so quick with the turn-around. They ll have my business as long as they re open. 10/10.

I m very pleased with the service that was provided to me when I dropped my car off at Grant s. Everyone was so kind and welcoming. My vehicle had a few minor issues like having a weird sound every time it was turned on but they never made me feel like it was impossible to fix. Donna even had me laughing when she asked me if I ran over a dog or something My vehicle was in the shop for five days and it drives smoother than before. I thank mechanic Paul for helping my car feel better again and the staff at Grant s for keeping me up to date with my car s status and making me feel welcomed and appreciated as a customer. I m definitely making Grant s my go to auto shop.

Leaky tire that we suspected had a nail which was the case. We were passing through from West Palm Beach Florida. The team was amazing. I wish I could remember the guy's name at the register. Bearded strawberry blonde. Really great. They expedited our repair because of our situation. We were on a road trip and we came across some Road Angels that kept us on our way. The best experience.

My husband and I had been having issues with our Subaru for a couple weeks. We re always nervous going to a new car shop, but Grant s was great. They got our car done after a couple days and it honestly drives better than it has in the last 5 years of having it. Highly recommend.

Absolutely wonderful experience! After having an issue with my vehicle and needing it fixed ASAP I called dozens of places and nobody was available. Grants tire and auto got me in within minutes and fit me into their busy schedule. They were understanding of me just passing through the area. Everyone was friendly and very experienced. Please note that this review is not about the work done to my vehicle but rather an issue that arose during the pickup of my vehicle.I had my vehicle towed to this shop due to a vicious knock in the engine while driving home to Florida from Tennessee. I was informed that my vehicle needed a new engine due to the damage of the parts causing the knocking. I was told that they do not replace engines and I came to the conclusion that it was not a great idea to dump money on an engine swap into an older vehicle. I was referred to a scrap yard that would pick up my vehicle and offer cash. I do not know the name of the woman that I spoke to, but I told her that I would be back to pick up items left in the vehicle.On the trip back to Georgia from Florida, I called a company to pick up the vehicle and scrap it. Upon their arrival, I was alerted to the fact that my catalytic converter had been cut off of the vehicle while it was in their possession. Granted, the vehicle was going to be scrapped anyway, but the theft drastically decreased the scrap value; almost making it pointless. What struck me as odd was the fact that the tow truck driver picking up my vehicle mentioned that the shop more than likely took it off seeing as I told them it was going to be scrapped and that it s happened before.I m not in the business of pointing fingers, nor do I care enough to try and prove it to be true. This shop DOES have plenty of cameras around their business. Could footage be pulled? More than likely. Does it matter to me at this point? No.I spoke to a few employees about what happened. All of which apologized but ultimately didn t seem to really care. If mine was stolen, chances are the lot of 10+ other cars were hit too. Waited around for about 45 min while talking on the phone with local PD. I didn t see anyone looking too concerned or checking other peoples vehicles.You live and you learn. Other than this mishap, I have no issues with the shop or the services that they provide.Service: Engine repair

I absolutely love Grant's. This morning I had to have my car towed cause it would not turn. Called Donna and let her know I was having it towed. I was not looking for a call until maybe Monday since it was Friday. Well......got a call within an hour saying it was my starter, the total and they would have me ready shortly. Amazing! I LOVE them! No better place to do business.Service: Battery

Was in town for a few days and got a flat on 75. Once I got the spare on I walked in here for either a fix or a new tire. They were busy but worked fast to get me back on the road. So thankful for their kindness and help! Highly recommend.Service: TiresService: Tires

Awesome, friendly, knowledgeable and honest! When my sister from out of town had an unexpected car problem just before she was due to return home, I called and asked if they could check it out. (My husband and I always take our cars there when we need automotive work.) They were VERY helpful and prompt. As soon as she pulled in they put the car on a lift and corrected the problem, which turned out to be minor and a simple fix. To top it off because it was a quick repair and no new parts required they did not even charge her! Honesty, integrity and excellent service...Grant's Tire and Auto is an excellent business. I recommend them to everyone!

I am sure that many people have had a good experience with this company. I was referred to Grants by a mechanic. When I arrived I was told you are 30th in line. I was not in a rush as it wasn't my primary car. I was told, "we'll assess the repairs and call you in 3 days. No call. I called. I was told we will call you in the morning. This cycle went on for 3 efforts after a week of waiting. The last day I chose to call I was told how many things they would not do for my vehicle. When only one of 4 issues could be resolved, they said again, we will call you this afternoon. Sick of these false statements (no call that afternoon) I called at 4:45 to ask if my vehicle had been looked at. It hadn't been. They indicated they could not start it. I went to go get my vehicle from them which I started and drove away in. I hope you have better experiences than I did. Very anger producing and sad to see such poor communication with the customer and have ultimate rejection about fixing it. Not one word of this is exaggeration. If you have minor repairs perhaps it would be good for you.Service: General repairs & maintenance

While traveling home to Florida, our starter went out completely. It was a Sunday afternoon and nothing was open. We started the night and called Grants as soon as they opened on Monday morning. Jay was so helpful end agreed to work us in for a fix that morning. We had the Expedition towed there and we were back on the road just after lunchtime! Not only were they super efficient and professional but their rates are EXTREMELY reasonable. We were shocked and so very thankful!! Would not hesitate to take any of our vehicles here or to recommend them to anyone in need of vehicle repairs!!Service: General repairs & maintenance

We were traveling on 75 and our car broke down going through Macon... we started checking online reviews trying to find the right repair service and since Grants had the best reviews we decided to go there for our repairs ... we drive an older import and we had our doubts about if they would be able to fix it since getting parts for it can be an issue ... but the owner did not disappoint !! She went above & beyond making phone calls for 2 hours locating what we needed and had them over nited to get us back on the road !! Even with all the extra trouble and knowing we were stranded they still didn t overcharge us ! Do not hesitate to use Grants if you ever need their service on your vehicle ! Thumbs up . 5 Stars !! This is the best auto shop ever. My tire popped so I had to have my car towed to this shop and immediately the men working greeted and helped me out. Ryan helped me out and he was so kind!! He told me it would take a while to fix because I needed a new tire ordered, so I walked down the road to get my nails done. Afterwards, I couldn t find an Uber so I was trying to figure out how to get back and Ryan called and offered to have someone pick me up and bring me back to my car!! SO NICE! Carey picked me up and he was also great. I love this car repair shop - thank you for helping me so much!!!

I from out of state and needed a brake job at the last min to go back home and I was referred here by Firestone auto care. The people here got my car fixed with in a couple hours!!!! I took my 2014 Nissan Sentra there for a second opinion after another shop told me I needed a transmission and it would be $3,200.00. They checked the vehicle and and told me it was a problem in the front end and said it would be $729.00 to repair. I had them fix it and the car have been running great ever since. It pays to go to the professionals the first time.

Amazing service!! I had to get my blinker light fixed and they ordered the part and got it fixed quickly. The people inside are super nice and they don't take advantage of how old you are or how knowledgeable you are when it comes to cars.

Ryan is the best!! I was so hesitant to bring my Silver Lady in, but this company put all my doubts and fears to rest. Everyone is so friendly and helpful here. They truly treat you like family!!! I am a customer for life!!

Always take good care of me. I've purchased tires from here and had tire repairs. I just purchased a new vehicle a few months ago and had a nail. Another tire center couldn't solve the issue but Grant's did without me having to purchase a new tire.

Fantastic customer service. Honest. I needed two used tires quickly and at 5:00 pm. When they discovered that they had sold their only two of that size earlier in the day, the owner personally called several competitors, located the needed size and asked them to wait on me before closing.

The guy answering the phones, Chaz, I think, he is very Friendly and Helpful!!! I needed a new alternator for my car, and after making many phone calls and getting estimates from all of the surrounding shops in North Macon, not only were their prices the best, but they were the most helpful, as well as, treating me like they wanted my business. They even called and had my car towed for me at a better price then I had found towing for!!! I will definitely use this shop again and I am very satisfied with my experience!!

I have used them for a long time. They are great people. Like family. They don't take you to the "cleaners" on the service they give you. Highllllly recommend this place for any auto work.

I've been bringing my vehicles to Grant's for over a decade. Don't let their name fool you - these guys can do way more than tires. They will treat you right, for the fairest prices in town, and keep you on the road. Also, I'll tell you the same thing my Dad told me - these folks know Fords. Better than Riverside Ford (which is a joke), and better than any other auto repair shop in town. Sure, they know more than just Fords - but if you happen to have a Ford, you won't find anyone better.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Very knowledgeable about every aspect of tires and mechanic work on cars. Very upfront and great prices too. They tell you what you need and not try to sell you something you don't need. Andy is a great guy and his employees are very friendly too. Only place I go for tires and car work.
