I am very pleased with my experience at Del s. I made a diagnostic testing appointment over the phone with Angie. The morning of the appointment, I dropped my car off and in less than 2 hours Angie called telling me they found the issue, a local part, and can fix it if I would like them to. The price was way more affordable than I planned to spend. I was able to pick my car up a few hours later and it has been driving well! They strive to provide great customer service in addition to their performance on cars. Thanks Del s Auto I will be back!

We had a great experience at Del's. We had a vehicle that sat for 3 years that we couldn't figure out the problem ourselves. We had it towed to Del's and they communicated the entire time. They even had to search for a while for the problem, thankfully they found it and were able to repair it there in their shop. Once they got it started it was running rough, so they found the problem that was causing that and repaired it. They had it repaired and back to us so quickly. The cost of the repairs shocked us because we expected it to be so much more. We would 1000% recommend Del's. They had great communication, great customer service and I'm so happy they got my vehicle going again!

You can tell these are just kind, honest, genuine people who are there to actually help, not to get as much money as they can from people. I recently took my car there for the first time to get a diagnosis, and when it came time to pick it up, Del came out and personally explained to me what he found. He wasn t in a rush, he patiently talked to me and answered all my questions. I feel like he went above and beyond to make sure I knew what was going on with my car. You can tell this is just a genuine dude doing what he s great at, but in the most honest/trustworthy way. I got really good vibes from him. He is not trying to rip you off. The office employees were also so sweet and friendly.The last time I took my car somewhere I brought it to a dealership repair shop, and they gave me a ridiculously high quote without ever letting me speak to the repair technician. All communication was through the customer service desk, which just didn t sit right with me. The vibes were off, I truly felt like they were trying to rip me off. The customer service person I spoke to at the dealership just felt untrustworthy, if you know what I mean haha. I just didn t feel comfortable or like they were genuinely trying to help me. They just wanted my money.Not here at Del s, though! I will be back in the future for my repair needs, and I would definitely recommend this place to friends/family. I am really happy I listened to all the other positive reviews because they are actually so accurate! It s so nice having a trustworthy repair shop near me. Now I don t have to go to the dealership for repairs anymore! I will go to Del s!

My husband and I were driving home from Florida to Canada. The longer we drove, the worse our brakes sounded. We needed to have a mechanic check them and install new brakes. One hour away, called Del who said to go straight there and he d help us.Del s team quickly fixed our problem and had time to do an oil change while we were there. It s a clean and professional establishment. The excellent customer service left us highly satisfied. We can now drive home with confidence. Angie & Del and all of the Del's Automotive crew are amazing to do business with! My work adopted a mother and her son from Crisis Line and Safe House for Christmas. The mother needed a new tail light for her car so Del and Angie helped me find the part for a GREAT price and they very generously installed the tail light for her. I have always taken my vehicle to Del's because I trust that I will get great service every time and they will always work with me to make sure I'm not overpaying for parts and service. Del s may have literally saved our lives when we were far from home. We had just purchased a vehicle and were driving it back home when we noticed a strange, intermittent sound coming from one of the wheels. We called Del s toward the end of the day, not optimistic that they would be able to fit us in. They saw us shortly after we arrived, listened attentively while we described the issue, and after a few minutes, were able to identify a problem that almost undoubtedly would have caused a serious accident a few miles down the road. They fixed the issue quickly, and we were able to continue our journey safely and with minimal delay. Thank you so much, everyone at Del s! You really went above and beyond, and we can t thank you enough for keeping us safe.

Alternator went bad while traveling from Florida to North Georgia. I had the car towed to another auto care facility and was quoted an outrageous price ($1444) for an alternator replacement. I did some research and learned that the range for this service on my car should be between $600 and $1000. I called Del's Automotive first thing the next day and explained my situation to them. They quoted me a price that was nearly half the cost of the first quote. I immediately called the tow company that I used the previous day and had them tow my car to Del's. I was back on the road early that afternoon. Their customer and mechanical service was exceptional. Thanks Angie for a positive experience.Service: Electrical

Del's has done all the work on my family's vehicles for years. They are busy because they're good but you can count on what they tell you. if they tell you its a big problem, its a big problem and if they tell you it will be fixed by a certain day, it will be fixed by that day. Moreover, I've sent several people to them with problems they were told would cost thousands of dollars to fix. On at least 2 occasions, Del's recommended much less costly repairs whichcorrected the problem. Bottom line, the folks at Del's are trustworthy, competent and fair. Plus if they are open, someone who knows what they are talking about will always answer the phone and if they can't help you, will tell you who can. There's no reason to go anywhere else in middle Ga.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I have been taking my truck to Del now and then when needed since 2013. I will not trust it with anyone else. Del and Angie have always treated me with respect and are so very courteous. The repair work has always been Top Notch and professional. If you really want GREAT SERVICE, then Del's is the place.

I've been in Macon about 15 years now, - and I've used a few mechanics until I found dells about 3 years ago and I have been very pleased. They are so friendly when you come in, they always let me know when a good time is to bring my truck in so I don't have to wait so long, they always explain the price in detail before they do the work, and they never try to over sell me on stuff I don't really need. I've sent them a few friends of mine when they have auto issues and they've all had good experiences as well. I highly recommend these guys.

HIGHLY recommend Del's Automotive. They are THE BEST! They have awesome mechanics. Their service is even better! Best place for tires too!! My family and I will always use Del's Automotive. You will not be disappointed!

Great experience for me at Dels. I was driving from Illinois to Florida when I thought my alternator went bad, waited for Del s to open up. I was told that they have a 2 1/2 week wait but once they heard that I was just passing through they pulled my explorer in and found out it was just a bad belt. They replaced the belt and I was back on the road. Great service!

We moved to Macon in March and we re worried about finding a good mechanic. I was on my Nextdoor app and on the Facebook group for other property we own and many had spoken highly about Dels so I asked my wife Roslyn to take my car there for some work. Dels has worked on my pt cruiser 3 times for different reasons and they have done great work. They are expeditious and friendly. I let my spouse deal with them mostly but she says Angie is always friendly, they work quickly, and do great work so we wouldn t go to anyone else. The prices are also fair, we moved here from Atlanta so they are more than reasonable. It s taken me a while to do a review but it s the end of the year so Happy Holidays and thank you!

Very friendly staff and quick to get back with you regarding questions and update and they don't over charge! I brought my Jeep Liberty in because the check engine light was on. I made an appointment, and the same day they called to tell me what the issue was and how much it was going to cost. I was able to pick my car the next day. Definitely going to be going to them from now on.

While visiting my hometown of Macon after moving away to the PNW several years ago, I stopped by Del s for help due to poor customer service from my rental car company. James took a look at the issue and provided a quick repair while I enjoyed a wonderful conversation with Angie behind the counter. Her cute dog even reminded me of my manners and I promptly removed my hat.Thank you for such a pleasant experience.

This is by far the most honest and best automotive shop in the Middle GEORGIA area. I carry my vehicle here and do not worry about quality of work or the price because I know the work will be done correctly and the price will be fair. I normally do not recommend mechanics but with Dell I recommend them all the time. When you go for repair tell Dell Henry told you to come.

We took a car in for an estimate for replacing the alternator and battery. The estimate came back to us quickly. Although we considered the estimate reasonable, it was about 25% of the market value of the car. We picked up the car in the morning without them doing the work. They were understanding of our decision to not have the work done. There was no charge for the estimate. That experience was pleasant enough that I would have them do other work for me.
