This review has been almost a year in the making which is interesting how I can remember every detail of how horrible this repair shop is.In May 2023 My wife hit two deer with our 2019 Elite completely unavoidable. I called my insurance agent and asked who they recommended to fix all of the damage. They recommended Butler Collision without hesitation. So we had our van towed here per the recommendation of our insurance company.I started out having communication issues with the representative assigned to my vehicle. I would receive a call stating that they were gonna begin working on the vehicle and then I wouldn t hear anything else for a week. I displayed to my account representative that I am very big on communication and wanted to be updated regularly about the progress. They said they would update me with no problem. Another week would go by and I would have to call again to get an update.I get a call one day telling me that my vehicle is ready. Me and my wife go up here to inspect the van. Our account representative tells us that everything is good to go except for the horn not working and asks if we want to accept the van knowing this doesn t work. I immediately tell them no as the horn was working fine while hitting the deer and immediately after.We also notice upon inspection that our passenger seat was missing buttons and the control panel was damaged. We pointed this out to them and they immediately denied fixing the seat. After going back and forth between them and the insurance company my agent tells me that unless I have proof of the control panel not being damaged before the accident then the repair shop refuses to fix this.The final thing that really floored me is that they call me and say that my vehicle is ready for delivery. I get there and upon my inspection I notice a wiring harness loose and not secured. The manager immediately took care of this problem but the point being this shouldn t have been something that I being the customer had to point out.Needless to say I will Never use or recommend butler collision to anybody.

Vehicle looks nice, they have repaired many of my cars and never had a problem until this time I picked my car up and noticed several areas in which they dropped the ball including detail and someone messing with things inside my car and a few other concerns. Called this business just to make them aware but they kept saying they were not paying to fix anything . I never asked them to. I just wanted them aware of the issues. The lady proceeded to tell me headlights don t use power to work when I asked about those, I asked how do they work them and she couldn t answer me. At the end of the call I told her I have lost faith in their capabilities because she told me headlights don t use power. She proceeded to tell me she never said that even though I had it on speaker and two others heard it. This makes me lose all trust. I m not sure now if they even know what they are talking about.10/26/2023 The manager called and apologized. I appreciate that they have made efforts to resolve the issue. They did great job on my 2023 Lexus! It took them a longer time than expected but it was worth the wait! Special thx to two ladies sitting at front desk for keeping me updated! Good work overall!

I have used Butler Collision several times in the past and been satisfied but after this experience, NEVER AGAIN. I don t know if they changed hands or what but service has gone massively downhill.I given an estimate of 3 weeks to repair minor damage to my grille and fender. This already seemed excessive, but ok. They update me after the first week and after that two more weeks pass with no updates. Finally I call on the day the car is supposed to be ready and am informed they forgot to order a decal and it won t be in for a few days and my car won t be ready for at least another week. At this point my insurance coverage has run out and I m paying $60/day for the rental. I ask to speak to a manager, ask for some kind of compensation given their mistake is now costing me at least $400. Receptionist cuts me off mid-sentence and transfers me to her manager s voicemail. I leave a message, never get a call back, call again later and still don t get a call back from the manager.It is now 8 days later and my car is finally ready, one month after I brought it into the shop. And I am out an additional roughly $500 for their mistakes and lateness which they refuse to compensate me for in any way.Throughout this process they have lied, backpedaled and refused to take any responsibility for the fact that they didn t order the correct part which caused the entire delay. The first receptionist I spoke to admitted they did not order the part, since that time they have backpedaled and told me they are not responsible for delays caused by waiting for parts to come in and hence I m just out of luck. Well, the part would have been there weeks ago if they d ordered it when they were supposed to!All I can say is do NOT use this shop if you expect good customer service or for your repairs to be completed in a timely fashion. A friend told me not to use their repair services, and boy I wish I d listened to him. They took about 2.5 months to get repairs done on my car. Communication was good and when I called they were able to update me on what was going on. First thing I noticed when I picked up the car was that the drivers side door speakers would rattle like no other when I turned on the radio. The BIG problem was that THEY HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO HANDLE AND DETAIL CARS. After picking up my car, I noticed that there was buffer burn all over the hood of my car, along with tons of swirl marks all over the body (car was almost new when it got into an accident so it definitely wasn t there before I gave it to them). I never asked them for a wash or detail, but they took it upon themselves to defile my beautiful new car. The initial damage didn t even occur on the hood, but they took it upon themselves to make sure it had some when it left the shop. They spoiled the paint on my new car and I ll never use their services again.Service: Body & Trim

I have used Butler Collision North previously to fix my window on my 2020 Honda Accord. The staff is soo friendly, professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and helpful. I was involved in a hit & run which left my passenger side of the car totally messed up. I brought my car back to this shop & they have been amazing. They call me with updates in parts, the process, and anything financial on my insurance end. They even called me an Uber to pick me up from the collision center to the car rental office to get my rental. I know my car will look brand new again. I approve this message. You need any bodywork done to your car, you can trust that Butler North will take very good care of you!

If you take your vehicle to Butler Collision North, I highly recommend you deal with Megan in administration. She dealt with insurance adjusters who tried very hard to make my experience regretful. She was able to extend my rental lease when I was getting hounded by adjusters while my vehicle was being repaired. Her communication was on point and she was extremely nice.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

My whole experience was great. I went their to have a taillight replaced. I want to call her Candace, apologize if I'm wrong, she helped me get a rental with Hertz (Brett and Carlissa were awesome as well). Service was quick and they returned my car in better condition than I gave it to them. They even detailed my car. I will definitely use them again if I have to but hope I won't need to.

In a minor accident, I was rear-ended at very low speed. Because I live near Butler Collision North, I took my truck there for repair. Butler has a nice new building, a staff that looks professional, and a process that seems organized. Unfortunately, I waited as my two-day repair was taking more than a week, and I felt I was not informed in a timely way of the reasons why. Therefore, I made known my displeasure. Butler informed me that, after disassembling the truck, they found more damage than was part of their initial estimate. Furthermore, the insurance company requested they use parts that were more time-consuming to obtain. Those were reasonable explanations, so I continued to wait, more patiently than before. In the end, it was worth the wait. My 2007 Toyota Tacoma looked better and drove better than at any time since I bought it new, and the Butler staff impressed me as extremely customer oriented. By virtue of my overall experience, I upgraded my initial two-star rating of them to a five-star rating. A company that values a customer s opinion and satisfaction over a few hundred dollars extra profit deserves to have a great reputation, and I am happy to contribute to it.

I took my car to be repainted due to a recall for the Pearl White paint. I was told I'd get my car back in 10 business days, it took almost 30 business days. Also when I picked my car up, I had to turn around and take it back immediately due to a wire hanging outside of my back window. They didn't put the antenna back in correctly. My carpet in the back is all crimpled up and my car was not put back together correctly at all. There was a lot of rattling, loose pieces. I feel like my car wasn't taken care of properly since it was a recall and I wasn't charged for the paint job. I will never use them again nor will I refer them to anyone.Service: Painting

This is the worse place to take your car for repairs. They had my car for almost 3 months for simple repairs, when I call to check on my car they keep giving excuses why it is not ready yet. Take my advise and NEVER TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. Candace is the epitome of great customer service! She seemed like the only one catching all the phone calls from her back desk and then she was very apologetic when she saw people in the waiting room who had not been helped yet. She was very quick on marking up the car yet thorough. She also helped in calling rental car service to come pick me up and then called them again after 20 minutes. She was running around all morning. Hard worker and nice!

These guys are awesome! Do not confuse the insurance company's service with Butler' service! Once we decided what work we needed, our car was in and out in a matter of days. They gave my car back to me cleaner than I've ever gotten it. And don't get me started on the ladies at the front desk...so organized and professional! They took the stress out of the whole process.

Did great work, but they definitely employ thieves. Recommend my girlfriend use this shop for her car repair. After a ridiculous amount of time (probably not their fault, supply chain shortage or something), she gets her car back and we immediately noticed some strange things. First, there was a unopened bottle of bourbon left in the car by mistake (had been looking forward to the car being done so I could get this out and enjoy it!) and we found that it was now OPEN and 3/4 EMPTY. Foil seal that was torn off was still in the bottom of the bag. Bag not under the seat where it began. So, one of the employees helped their self to this bottle and drank most of this $65 bottle of bourbon. On the clock too, maybe? Wonderful.Next, my gf FINALLY got her AirPods back that she left in the car, just to open the case and get a notification to her phone that her AirPods had been connected to someone else s phone. And somehow, fully charged? (Car was in shop for over a month. Someone charged these.) They were DEFINITELY connected to her phone. So, an employee drank our unopened bottle of liquor that we accuse left AND listened to music on her AirPods. I guess the employees like to have fun while they work at Butler Collision. Thanks for at least putting the AirPods back. Buy me a new bottle next time too. Obviously very shady employees and I will NEVER recommend this place to someone again. Go somewhere you can trust not to plunder through your car and help their self to your belongings. Service: Body & Trim

My vehicle had minor damage due to someone backing into me so I chose this location for repairs. Due to miscommunication and not ordering parts as they should, I was out of a vehicle for approximately 3 months. Not to mention I was told the parts were ordered, but they never were and my supplement somehow being lost. Obviously this was an inconvenience. I don t recommend choosing this location.

Thus far, Butler Collision North has been a good experience. The ladies in the office were helpful and understanding. I've been updated on progress at least once and things are, at present, going smoothly.

Butler Collision North was a life saver for me and my family. We are from Atlanta, and on our way to Florida, we ran over some road debris that punctured our radiator. After a pretty seamless exercise with the tow company, Butler, and Enterprise, we were back on the road to Florida with our car safely at Butler. The insurance/repair process seemed to be off to a good start until our insurance company decided to assign an appraiser to the claim that *did not have offices in Macon.* Butler spent hours on the phone with that appraiser trying to convince them that the necessary repairs required more than just the front bumper (something that one could only see in-person), and because of their diligence, my insurance company reassigned the claim to a second appraiser who was actually in Macon to visit in person. Even still, Butler had to personally walk the appraiser through the damages before they could competently appraise the damages (the second appraiser tried to say it was just the front bumper too!). Without question, Butler was the only reason our car was fully, thoroughly repaired and *paid for* by our insurance company. Every step of the way, they were our advocates, and they were a pleasure to work with -- even through the stressful hassles with the insurance company. Not to mention, our car is running like new again, after the repairs. I cannot recommend Butler Collision highly enough.

Nice enough. Very clean. And I like the idea of disassembly so a through estimate can be done. To bad our car was considered a total before it got that far.. Im almost sure they are a 5 STAR ON TOTAL CUSTOMER SATISFACTION.

Took my car on Monday for to be repaired minor damage called at 5:29 on Thurs said was ready they closed at 5:30 informed them was go the way out of town said wood be there Monday morning look at repairs and pickup the vehicle is in my husband name get there car is gone they have no idea who put up because they don't require I'd to retrieve a vehicle. They were very ugly and very unprofessional and kept asking us what did we want them to do Tell us who got it. Come to find out the called my granddaughter Friday and told her it was ready.Please take all precautions when using this VERY UNPROFESSIONAL PLACE OF SO CALLED BUSINESS. NEXT TIME IT MIGHT BE YOURS SAID THEY DIDN'T KNOW WHO THE OWNER WAS WHEN U GO IN THEY TYPE IN VIN# AND IT SHOWS OWNERS NAME HOW UNPROFESSIONAL

Don't waste your time taking your vehicle here!!! They give you a warranty just so you have to continue to come back for them to fix a problem that they caused!!...Not worth the hassle at all!!!
