I had one of the best experience in my darn life here no lie! So my Audi needed a new battery and the night before it would not start. I was pissed because the dealership was charging an arm, leg and breast! I needed a solution quick! I called AutoZone and the women was super nice on the phone which gave me confidence to come to the store. I came in the store and was greeted with a warm welcome. The problems started to add up but the customer service just kept being amazing. First I needed a special tool to take the battery out.. They got it for me! Then I needed to find where the heck the battery was they found it.. they first recommended that I take it to the dealership and was extremely real about the reset process and the potential issues.. I did not care and told them I would accept the responsibility. They crawled in my trunk took the battery out , and it was not easy ! Jerome, Destiny and the store manager Wesley was so amazing ! I am forever indebted to the entire staff ! They worked to also help me restart my system and my car is working perfect now with all the lights that were on due to a weak battery went away! I am so grateful for this store and I promise you the next time I am in Macon I will be back to visit ! Also did I mention I needed to drive back to Texas the next day and all dealerships needed more than a week to get me in rotation ???? Thank you autozone !

The associates were a great help in selecting the correct battery size for my 2010 vw beetle 2.5 automatic. Please note the battery removal and installation is more in depth vs many other older imports like a kias and Toyotas. You have to remove the top fuse block, 10 mm for the positive and negative posts, pull off the nylon heat shield shown below, unsnap the plastic cover, unbolt 13 mm with an extension for the holding bracket, pull the battery forward, slide it to the left, and finally tilt upward. The installation is the reverse. So definitely a 3 year battery replacement is a great investment.

Very helpful. I needed a special kind of battery terminal clamp for a nissan frontier. They told me a maritime clamp would do just fine and it was cheaper. He was right. A+++++ service

I need both front calipers for a 2002 Honda Accord. Honda quoted me at 257 dollars. Then a 20 dollar refund for a core charge. To put one set on they want 300 dollars. Called AutoZone, they quoted me 69 dollars plus a 20 dollar core charge. Once I give them my old brake calipers, I get the core charge back. So the 69$ would go up to 89$ until they get them back. They even told me what stores on what roads had what I wanted

Had to get a battery. Very helpful with what I needed. The only problem I had is when I called ahead for battery to be placed on hold they didn't document it. So they didn't know what we was talking about when my daughter and I arrived. But great at helping. I would go back again.

If you need parts please support this autozone. (0181) Wesley Nedd was on shift. We had a what I thought would be a simple return. No it wasn t. Wesley took the time and patience to figure out how to make it work. In this day and age of NO Customer service. Wesley gave me faith back in humanity. Thank you for a excellent experience.

Place is a mess. Old oil spill on floor back where the motor oil is on display. Oil on counter top at checkout desk which got oil all over the bottom of my merchandise. Staff friendly.

He was so understanding patient helpful noticeable. He knew his job. I saw him tell another employee where to find somethings that asked him where it was he looked at it and told him exactly where it was without him even looking to see what he was going he knew exactly where it was and the other employee went straight to it and got it and I was like wow and help me at the same time and you all had exactly what I needed so I do thank you all so very much. Friendly service, didn't have what I needed but I got an alternative and it worked out. Decent store that is clean and fairly well stocked despite the covid supply chain issues. Folks in the parking lot are more than a little entertaining sometimes...

You know I've got to give this store credit for having employees that are truly gentleman. I've been in and out of this store for an entire week, and I still received the same level of customer service. Don't sleep on the location because it's not in the best part of town. I just want to publicly say "Thank you" to Kevin and Tramell(?), on a job well done... especially on the days I was there and it seems like you two were the only ones holding it down with multiple customers in the store and the phone were ringing continuously.

Kemeko and Devon are a huge asset for AutoZone on Pio Nono Ave in Macon, GA. She is upbeat. With a big beautiful smile, and on the very top of her customer service skills. Devin is cool, calm, and collected with an assuring manner about him.I believe they were the only staff taking care of the entire store. The phone is ringing, customers are coming in, and they both showed excellent professionalism with great multi-tasking skills. It was very important for to to make a purchase there today so I called in advance and spoke with Devon. He was very knowledgeable and assured me they had what I needed and could get me safely back on the road again. When I got there the first thing I noticed was how busy they both were then I saw them in action and knew I would get my needs met. I wasn't disappointed. They both excelled. I could not NOT acknowledge their unselfishness. Kemeko, Devon you are outstanding and remarkable people. Thank you for all you do!!!

Davon was awesome. We had an unexpected car issue and he went above and beyond to help get us back on the road after wasting 3days and money we couldn't afford on O'Reilly on Thomaston. I highly recommend this AutoZone and I apologize about my purse strap almost taking out your display guys.

Came in after my car completely shut down while I was driving and the dealership said that nothing was wrong. I got helped as soon as I walked in to this Autozone. Everyone was so kind. I just needed a battery and the person helping me offered to install it.

Okay so store kevin revero was a very invasive, costing with outside sources that were in the air managers peace at the moment upon my arrival, seen me and quickly changed direction of travel together from outside parking lot. Not the manager tried to tell me no return policy on item because of no revisit. I then told him it was under my rewards account, he said it wouldint be but I knew it would be because rewards was scammed first then item was scammed and purchased. He momentarily argues that it wouldint then when I asked to punch number in and show me, it went to the screen with the other two items pitched all the we the and he quickly chargers screen to forward tab. Needing this item returned he said only store credit

(Minus -10) Slow and Lackadaisical... The Worker (Woman) that was serving me couldn't do her job due to the fact she kept texting on her phone and walking off making phone calls on her personal phone.. Bad Customer Service...

A store associate was really extremely rude to everyone. Honestly if you hate your job do everyone a favor and quit. You won't be missed. She was fighting with other customers in the most ghetto way and catching attitude with customers. I ended up having to go to O'Reilly. Worst experience ever.

Davonne G. Was the most helpful and polite out of all the places in Macon I have been to. Was spinning customers, helping employees, and knowledgeable. He is an asset to AutoZome. I dont knownhim but he is deserving of a pay increase. I would if it was my company to keep him with around. Normally I would have given one star. Thank this employee for that. Speaking of which let me go give O'Reilly their glowing one star review now.Thanks.for the help
