Had been having battery issues with my Ford Edge Sport. Drove to several other auto parts stores and they didn t even know how to test the battery let alone replace it. Got to Advance Auto parts here on Northside and Jalon meets me at the front door with utter professionalism and kindness.Not only did he know how to replace my battery he was able to tell me why my battery was failing.Advance, I would keep him on your crew at all costs!Thank y all!

Jalon absolutely saved the day for me today while I was traveling back to Savannah from Atlanta. When we pulled off the highway and noticed a rattling in our car, we started calling around to see if anywhere was open to help us. Jalon answered the phone and said he could give us some advice and direct us towards the tools and supplies we d need to fix the problem. As an electrician I know my way around a bolt, but as soon as it s in a car I get lost. From the moment we walked in to the moment we drove off Jalon was a blessing. He answered our questions, helped us find the right Alternator in stock for my vehicle, and congratulated me after I returned inside for completing my first ever major car repair. He not only was a hero, but an educator who made me feel confident to approach my car problems myself head on. It s clear he s passionate not just about cars but about helping those around him. As someone who s worked for the Walt Disney Company for 4 years, I can say that he truly is one of the best people I ve had the joy of interacting with. If anyone s ever having trouble on the road, I can t recommend this store enough.

The men in this store this evening (Friday, December 9, 2022) are exceptional.The epitome of professional service and care.If Advance Auto Parts C-Level corporate brass could clone these two men and deploy their clones throughout the stores in the U.S., Advance Auto would dominate the after market auto parts sector.So incredibly helpful and kind.I highly recommend you visit this Macon store.Thank youV

I bought a wire harness for my car and it was the wrong one so I tried to exchange it the store manager was rude unprofessional and came off to me as racist. I would never shop their again. I wish I could give them a negative star.

We stopped by this location at 8:30 pm on Saturday night because my 19 year old daughter car battery died when she was leaving work. The older gentleman was super helpful and nice however Tabitha M was rude, in a rush and absolutely didn't want to be there. The older gentleman was amazing and helped us get the old battery swapped out but Tabitha was asking if anyone was available to come on in and sign the receipt so she could close

The Northside Macon branch is a great store to shop. The knowledgeable and kind staff make your search for auto parts and other needs a snap. I especially love their warm and generous attention to you as a person and a customer. If they can't help you or have what you need they are more than willing to point you in the direction you can. It's nice to know that in these challenging times of the 21st century we still have people who still care on old school levels

There is an older guy there that is unenthusiastic and quite lazy ! When customers ask him questions he seems annoyed to just do Anything ! I dont know who he is, but it appears that he just wants to get paid to do nothing ! There might as well be Robots to replace incompetent non helpful , uncaring unprofessional staff. Owner, please have a talk with your staff

Great, super helpful employees, they seem to be genuinely concerned and always try their best to cater to whatever need or problem I might have.. the second or third time I went in there they greeted me by name, and I liked that for some reason... ... lol.

Upgraded 9/07/21 to 4 stars due to better customer service .Upgraded 6/24/2021 to 3 stars due to another good experience with Advance Auto.Upgraded 5/09/2021 due to a good experience a w Advance Auto.I love Advance Auto, I am an elite speed perks member, and I send my friends. This location just needs a few changes. I placed an online order on 4/24/2021, which included a oil filter, an air filter, and some AC refrigerant. I selected this location because the website indicated : In stock, Pickup available in 30 minutes at Northside.At the store on this particular Saturday,, I was told : Sorry we don't have the AC refrigerant, come back Monday.I asked if it was available at any other nearby store. Reply: No.I then asked: Can you get it sooner than Monday?, Reply: No.Can you deliver it because I have to work Monday from 8 am to 8 pm...Reply: No.So today at lunch, I check voice mail: item is ready! I called the store and inquired about a few things including the newly bought air filter, K&N filter cleaner and oil (when I saw on 4/24 that the air filter was the wrong filter, I fished the old one out of the trash).The manager stated: Yes, we have it.I then made a mistake by inquiring about an emblem I saw while in the store with a wrong price tag, (red tag clearance, a first responder stick-on emblem). In small print, the red clearance sticker did state a wrong description. There was another emblem however, and it was priced the lower of the two prices in question, per the scan.When I mentioned the lower price on the telephone I stated : Most places like wally world honor a misprice if it is the store's error.She mentioned the tiny print, said the tags were now properly fixed, and denied my request. She added:THIS ISN'T ///MART!A judgment call, no problem.So this evening, I limped into the store at 8:50 p.m., and the guy at the register handed me the refrigerant. I had the unopened air filter & receipt. He correctly gave me a partial refund since I had used a speed perk. This was the correct policy.I then said I wish to buy a emblem that I saw on Saturday. (This emblem was the CORRECTLY priced one, not the mismatched item, but they were the exact same price).The guy responded: Sorry, it isn't for sale. We pulled that item off the shelves today.I then mentioned the filter cleaner and oil kit. I thought it may be waiting behind the counter since I had inquired about in my lunch time call. He indicated that it was located behind me, on the back wall to the left. I couldn't find it, but another gentleman was kind enough to assist me.I went back to the counter and paid. The guy at the register did not note my inconvenience."huh?"I wasn't feeling well, worked all day, and I had to make a special trip.I invite a reply from the store manager and/or the district manager, but I won't hold my breath. Note that the replies above are paraphrased, and the story is absolutely true to the best of my recall. The photos show a couple of products, and the EZ chill showed picked up in their system online. Obviously, I had to go back for it two days later. It is also interesting that Advance and Walmart are marketing partners, Advance sells on Walmart.com marketplace...Prior review:In store prices are slightly high. Best bet is to order online (20 percent off promo code is common, plus add any speed perks you earn from purchases). The speed perks are 5, 10, & $20 and are great because they can be combined with promo codes giving 15 or 20% off, unless stated otherwise. Nice to get a deal on smaller purchases, and you should defenitely join speed perks.

First and foremost, the 2 stars review has nothing to do with the employees at the Northside location. I give them 5 stars!! Most do exceptional work; especially Eric. This is intended for corporate only. I think it s awful that These hard working employees have no decent lighting outside when night falls. They have to change batteries, windshield wipers, and other services in the dark! Not only is it unprofessional, but it is also a hazard. Adequate lighting could prevent serious injuries as well. Inadequate lighting isn t safe nor is it fair to the customers who may be assisting. Corporate...do what s right and please install outside lighting. Thanks!!!

Everyone was so courteous and friendly. The service was very good. KT knew his job and really got m we the items I needed. I wasn't sure about all the items, so out to the car we went. I would recommend ADVANCED to anyone. Thanks.

Nice service but didn't ask to help me put my antifreeze in my car. So I did it myself don't have lot of strength to even get the car hood up !

A special Thank You to Rebecca and Cindy who loaned us tools to fix our Prius when travelling through their town. Had a crazy situation where a flower bouquet tipped over during a quick stop and water poured into the electronic gear shifter on the Prius. This resulted in the car randomly dropping into neutral when cruising down Hwy 75. With a borrowed wrench, extension and socket from them we were able to remove the assembly, shake out the excess water and then evaporate out the rest with a hair dryer in the stores bathroom. Advance has always been my goto place for autoparts and their service has been on par with what these ladies did for us. Thanks again ladies.

Great guys, always helpful, and do not try to sell u something u do not need. My go to guys for diagnosis. 1 querk.... better receipts for batteries, etc. The cheap receipts won't last. Should b n ur database. Pls fix. Luv u guys
