Used Griffin Auto to replace the engine in my 02 Suburban. They explained everything patiently and clearly. They offer Jasper motors with a good warranty. Everyone at the shop is very nice. What impressed me the most was the service they provided after the fact. I had a serious issue with the engine after the replacement--that was not their fault-- and they took care of it immediately! They went above and beyond, making me feel as though I was their most important customer! I highly recommend them and look forward to using them for years to come.

Don't let the small size of this shop fool you!! They are just as capable as a giant dealership and do GREAT WORK.Anywhere from complicated electronic diagnostics all the way to a simple oil change.... This shop can do it RIGHT, the FIRST TIME. They're also some of the most friendly folks you'll ever deal with.

Took my mom's car in because fan doesn't always work so it overheats in traffic. Knew it was fan or relays to fan. Also asked for radiator to be flushed. 2 days later was told to come get it, it's fixed and $450. Got there and found out they did an oil change (we just did one a week before with brand new air and oil filters) and were trying to charge $509. Made them take oil change off and told him he said $450 cash so he took it. Said he replaced thermostat and housing. ($450 for a thermostat change out?!) Oh $179 was for diagnostic fee. The next day my husband drives it to Commerce and it does the same thing, fan stops working and car overheats. Called and left a very colorful upset message and it's been exactly 7 days and no one has called back. $450 down the drain and they don't standby their work. Husband looked at housing and it's not new and they never flushed radiator. Said it didn't need it *it's a 2015 and never been flushed out. Now taking to dealership

A great car shop close to home. Honest and knowledgeable. I've been using them for years and am very happy with the service.Update 8/5/22. Still happy. I continue to use them and am very grateful to have an alternative that lets me avoid the dealers.Update 3/29/23 I moved and now Griffin is 35 minutes away, have to pass by many shops and dealers, but I won't switch. The same great service is worth the drive.

I have a 2011 jeep grand cherokee 5.7 hemi 4x4. My check engine light came on. After diagnosing the issue with my scanner it said misfire on 3rd cylinder. I did what I knew to do it didn't fix it. I was referred to another shop they said it would cost 6k to 9k to do a fix to it but the issue could come back on other cylinders.... I went to Griffin Auto and spoke to Kenneth who did diagnostic testing. After that he told us 2 options and why each would work or not work and how much each would cost.We went home did our homework. We went with 2nd option and ordered the engine and within 5 days of receiving the engine he had the jeep fixed. I will not go to another mechanic this shop has earned my business for life !!!

Great work! The griffins fixed a problem that I've been trying to figure out for a long time. All the money that I spent changing part's I could have saved. I would recommend their shop to anyone. Thanks guys

Have had multiple repairs and regular maintenance done at Griffin Auto over the years. Always a very friendly and profession staff who does excellent work. Prices have always been very competitive. All in all, always a great experience with excellent results.

Always honest and knowledgable employees. As a woman I've been in other auto repair shops where I sometimes was made to feel a little intimadated. This was not my experiance here actually it was quite the contrary!!Things were explained to me in laymans terms, I actually left there a little more knowledgeable about my vehicle
