Honest trustworthy people, man I found myself years ago learning to fix my own car because I couldn t trust people. I found this place an have been twice, good honest people, great work. I believe the prices were great as well. Always had my car out same day.

With Mom (me) and Dad out of town, my 20-something daughter had to find a place to get some work done on her car (after ignoring it for far too long). She was incredibly nervous and worried she'd have a hard time finding a place she could trust with people who would treat her properly and not the "Oh poor little girl, let's totally take advantage of you" type place.I was pleasantly surprised to get a phone call today with her saying how happy she was when she left. They explained things to her, spoke respectfully and kind to her, and made her feel comfortable and SAFE. She felt like things were priced More than Fair and has said she'll never go to another automotive repair shop again, only them!So, there you have it, something to say about people that make your kiddos feel safe and respected. 5 stars. 10 outta 10 recommend.

My check engine light was on and it was driving funny. I was scared to drive it to my regular mechanic in Stockbridge so my friend recommended me to A+. I will say I was very pleased with my service. My car only needed an oil change.. I was going off the gage for my oil change and Don explained that I have to off the oil sticker.

I'm new to the LG area and recently lost my husband. My check engine light came on and scared me. I looked at Facebook and saw the great reviews. I took my car to the shop and they repaired in a few hours and didn't charge me anything! I feel so blessed that a business such as this were so honest and caring to this "old woman"! I went to other shops in different places no one took the time to even look at my problem. All I needed was my tailpipe fixed. And this place took care of my problem and got me out in a timely manner. Thanks so much.

Our vehicle broke down traveling from Ontario to Florida. No other shop in town would help us. A+ looked at it right away, read the codes, diagnosed the problem and gave us a work around to get us on our way and didn't even charge us. The other shops all wanted us to leave it for a week. So grateful for the help and the kindness.

They do the little stuff all the way to replacing the entire drive trail of my vehicles. Have done business with them for years and years. Dave the owner is the friendliest and most honest guy in the business and I have found everyone of his mechanics to be top notch - quality people. Getting you back on the road with urgency. In a time when racism is headline new, and honesty is a thing of the past; I have found a man of integrity, that leads by example. David and his staff not only worked with me to get my car fixed, but was willing to educate me on how my car works and how to prevent future costly repair. Professional mechanics like Ryan "who is my mechanic from now on".... are willing to make each repair personal...! excellent service. they don't patch tires but they tried to plug it. The hole was a little too big so they recommended another place and no charge. We will definitely recommended your shop

I have been going here for over 15 years. I have always had an awesome experience. The owner David is a super stand up guy. On the very rare occasion that something is not satisfactory he makes it right 100% I have had everything from small electrical issues fixed to full engine replacements and I will continue to go here for absolutely everything.

These guys are amazing! I walked in after a check engine light came on. They knew I was in the middle of a couple thousand mile trip and still had 9 hours to go. They could have totally taken advantage of me. They checked my car over, reset the light, told me what to watch out for and sent me on my way....no charge! Nice honest people!

The shop did a phenomenal job on my car. My harmonic balancer broke in half on the way to Birmingham AL for a conference. These guys were able to fit me in their busy schedule and had my car ready in two days (one day waiting on the part for my car). I definitely recommend to anyone in the area.

I had an oil change in Florida done and they didn t tighten the plug, so my oil leaked and this place was amazing. They were able to figure out the problem and fix it for me even though they were extremely busy today. I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone in the area!! Best mechanic shop in Locust Grove! Great down to earth Managament and customer service, reasonable price. They have very knowledgeable mechanics. One mechanic took time to really explain to me what the problem was and showed me the part on another car in the back and told me why I didn t need to fix it currently. That really shows they are not always after profit but what s best for you the customer. They didn t charge me multiple times for small things like quick inspections and that really mean a lot.

we were on our way back from our vacation in Florida when the radiator sprang a leak. We thought we had fixed it enough to get us back to Indiana but no someone up there thought to have it blow .2 miles away from this shop. Thank goodness. I was a little afraid of what it was going to cost since it is right off the highway. They were fair and they got a new part at 4:30pm and still got us back on the road in two hours. It was great!!!! I work in the insurance industry and write estimates on cars all day so I knew what it should cost and I had already figured we would have to stay over to wait on part but we didn't. I am truly amazed at the speed, efficiency, kindness, and the professionalism that my daughter and I got from everyone of the men at this shop. If I didn't live states away they would be my mechanic. I know that I will let my fellow adjusters in his area know that they can trust and be confident of this team. Thank you so much to them all as we finally made it home today at 6 am today.

Don at A Plus Automotive is my favorite person!! When I had my broken down car towed to his shop late one evening, the very next morning he had not only an answer but a solution within hours not days like most shops! He went above and beyond to not only get me the best price he could on repairs but did even more research to get more in-depth information on what caused my engine to fail, while remaining honest and practical with me on what would be the best investment of my money. I truly appreciate this shops level of professionalism and personality, it made the entire situation so much more manageable! I will never go to another shop again!Highly recommend!

I randomly found this shop while stopping to get gas and noticing my van was leaking oil heavily. The man that helped me was extremely friendly and reassuring. He had a waiting room that my little girl enjoyed drawing on the whiteboard walls, in. The price couldn't be beat, and we drove off confident after finding out our oil leak was a minor, quick fix after all. I would recommend this place to anyone in need of a quick repair or more extensive work.

My mother and I were traveling and had trouble with a tire. The place looked very busy but a very nice man told us to pull into a bay and fixed a leaky tire stem. He had us on the road in minutes. Only regret I did not get his name. He was a true blessing.

I live about an hour away when my check engine light came on. I went to Autozone and was informed that my ignition coil went out. I Googled for a mechanic near by and A+ came up. They had excellent ratings, so I took a chance. Thankfully they got me in and out within an hour and I was able to go back to work. They also checked underneath my car and saw minor damage that he told me I could wait on. He did not try to up sale me. Thank you A+ for being honest and helping me when in need.

I broke down on the Hwy and car was towed.Each person in this little town told me great things about owner David. Good people was their exact words . I agree now and fast honest work and had me back on the road.Our paths crossed for some reason and I'm sure we will keep in touchSo great people great serviceThose things are hard to find these days.Thank you David and crew.

What an amazing staff!!!! Courteous, honest, and friendly. At A+ they really go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction. I was in and out in a timely manner and there was no price gouging. I would recommend A+ to anyone that needs reliable automotive service!!!!!

Love love love this place. I ve been taking my truck and my daughters cars to A+ Automotive for over 10 years. I don t live in Locust Grove anymore but I will travel when needed. A credible place to take your vehicle from a simple need of air in your tires to more complex issues. They give you the true facts about your vehicle and don t take you to the cleaners with it. They are even open on Saturday which is great.

Took my 98 ranger for a clutch. Asked them to do a complete inspection brakes, belts, hoses, front end etc. They told me they found nothing needing attention. I got oil and filter, tire rotation, a sigle lamp "bulb". During the clutch work they found a bearing leak related to oil pan gasket. They took pictures and called me. I agreed the additional work needed to be done. The work and cost was very competitive.I am very pleased. The owner David was easy to talk to. He answered my questions with clarity and specificity only a true mechanic could do. I highly recommend David for auto repair. My Ranger drives like a new truck.
