This is one of the worst place I ever take my car. The guy took my money and act like he know what he was doing for 5 to 6 hours my car was with him and he did the worse job, leaving wire hanging in my car and the button start hanging. he charged me $200. I never got my job done. I will never take my car back there again and I hope people do not take their car there.

Broke several things in my truck. Driver side windo control, charger outlet, rear door sensor, and they never fixed the radio which is why I went there.. They said the amp was bad and disconnected it. Radio still didn't work. They didn't reconnect the amp. They said I need a new head unit and they connected all the speakers to the right channel. I paid before looking at my truck and seeing the damage. He refused to give me a refund and He said I would have to sue him to fix everything. He eventually caved and said I could bring it back and he'll try to fix it. I got it in writing. But decided not to take it back because I was afraid he would break everything else.

DO NOT COME HERE FOR YOUR UHAUL RESERVATION! My total for the reservation was 72.96. They purposely overcharged me to make UHAUL pay out the difference, then lied & said it was just the hold on the card. I talked to UHAUL and they said there was a refund for the difference processed the same day. Meaning, he knew it wasn t a hold & purposely overcharged me so he could keep the difference. Don t trust the people. They are ignorant thieves.

I wouldn t recommend a couple months ago I got my radio installed by themI ll say a month or two after it stopped turning on so for 3 months I rolled in silence because I couldn t get my radio fixed at the momentBut as I finally did decide to get it fix I was told the reason my radio stopped working because these people don t know what there doing he hooked the wires wrong and almost burned my car down I was just lucky the wire burned itself and not the whole car

I had speakers replaced, and the work was done in a timely manner, and everything was installed neatly. Was getting a reverse cam installed but it doesn't work for some reason. I have no complaints for the work that was completed.Edit: They misplaced a screw for my door panels, didn't say anything about it. Switched my license plate bolts with screws that were too small and ended up rusting out the bolt hole, they knew the screws were not going to work so they used some sticky putty type stuff, I lost the plate in a car wash because of this. They never mentioned any of this nor did they properly fix it.

So far loving the replacement radio and speakers the husband bought for them hook up. Sounds so much better than the old system that was in a vehicle we purchased about 6 months ago. The radio was horrible and the speakers were worse...It wasn't cheap or fast, but so far seems they did a good job.

I went to have a front and rear dash camera installed. I was given a quote and estimated time frame of 2hrs. When I called to check on the progress about a hour later, it was already done. The technician also showed me the install and verified placement before I completed the payment. It was ideally what I wanted.

I went here Because the radio in my truck stopped working. I paid for a new radio and the installation and went home to wait for the car. When the repair was done , instead of charging me for a radio I did not need they actually fixed the radio that was in my dash and saved me a lot of money.I was able to take the savings and upgrade my stereo while I was at it. A lesser businessman just would have swapped the radios without looking out for my best interest. these gentlemen did not do that. they did the honorable thing even though it would ve taken revenue out of their pocket.When I came to pick up my truck I noticed something I wasn t pleased with and turned around and came back. The technician came out to the parking lot and with no problems fixed what I needed corrected and I was on my way.I will use these guys again for my stereo needs

I've been a customer for 10 yrs. James has a nasty attitude now. Full of excuses. Had Kevin do installions about 6 months ago. Have had to bring car back numerous times for problems. Lisa is great. Thomas solved my problems today. Will never return.2/18/19 installations done by them stopped working . Took it to a reputable car stereo place in Roswell . Owner said, who did this, Car had to be rewired. Rear camera was inside camera. Kevin put it on outside. Wired everything to one box and had wires hanging out. Even put duct tape on fog lights that he cut hole too big to hold it in. WARNING: Stay away...

I've been to many car installation shops. This one I tkeep coming back to. Why? they haven't tried to upsell me. They charge a great rate for their labor and they do a great job. They've been open and ready to work. I highly recommend this shop. I've had to radio installed at this location plus they've fixed a bad amp installation from a previous audio shop.

Kevin has been working on my cars for over 5 years. I purchased rims, subs, amps, and car alarms and he always comes through. I get great prices and always completes the work on my car the same day. If you need a car stereo or alarm or speakers, Platinum Auto is the place to be.

Platinum is the best mom and papa shop in the metro area. They installed my stereo with no problems and they are very friendly. I recommend this store for car stereos, car rims and other things you need for your car stereo.

This place is a total joke!!!!! I took my motorcycle in to have my back up camera installed one week ago. The camera I had Kevin told me it was for a car tag and it would not fit. I told him to cut the plastic sides off and it would fit. He said he had a better camera to fit and I agreed. I showed him where I wanted the monitor to go and he said it would be better by my gauges. I told him I didn't want my gauges blocked. I picked my bike up the next day and the camera was not levelled, therefore my monitor was showing half of a car and my monitor was on my windscreen blocking my gauges. I got home with my bike the monitor stopped working. I crank my bike several times and nothing!!! I contacted Kevin regarding the problems and told him I wanted my original camera back as well. When I took my bike back to him today I insisted he take his camera off my bike and give my original camera back and I did not want him to touch my bike. I asked for 60.00 of the 120 back and he said he would not refund me any of my money.I'll get a real professional to do the job!!!!DO NOT GO HERE A TOTAL RIP OFF!!!!!!!!

When I came to Platinum Auto Associates in Lithonia Ga, my reservation was not ready. I called the number listed for "Byron" several times and never got an answer. Once I came back at 10am there was a man sitting in a van outside and I explained that I was there to pick up reservation. He directed me to another building that's a detail shop. They brought me back to him and the man caught an attitude saying that I didn't not tell him I wanted a uhaul. I repeated what I initially told him about my reservation and he began to catch an attitude with me saying that he doesn't have to service me. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE and very poor customer service.

They installed a radio and back up camera and went beyond to make sure everything works fine and also help fix my latch for my truck i would recommend this shop also the prices are very good.

Stood in the lobby waiting for about ten min for a sales rep to help. No-one came out from the back area. One employee had head phones on so clearly he never heard the door bell. The music was so loud it makes it hard to get anyone's attention. So i walked out and left.

ZERO STARS!!!!!! So my bf took my car here for radio and back up cam installation the back up cam doesn t work and the radio went out, called them back and Kevin said to bring it in next week so I was supposed to ride around with no radio because of their mistakes something told me to take it to geek squad well the wires were everywhere it literally looked like a pot of colorful pasta that the installed in my car so I had to pay again to have it done correctly this man ain t even make no effort to fix his own mistakes doesn t wanna refund my cash or nothing also broke my damn vent and left the majority off the clips in my dash

My speaker blew on the way to the ATL from the DMV, Dropped into Platinum Auto & Electronics this morning And was treated like one of my homeboys just hooked me up on a payback from wayyback. More than affordable; quick, precision installation. Do ya'self a favor when you need or want quick, precision quality car audio installation. Peace & Blessings Fam.

Wrong installation of radio kept my car overnight and Could careless about fixing it. I m just out of $600 going to another shop to redo this. Thanks for nothing

Horrible place!!Had a Bluetooth, amp and speaker installed.They finished the job called me out to show me everything.They couldn't due to my ac being knocked out during the time of installation.I went back inside called me back out.No one knew how to program the Bluetooth to my phone.Finally one of the guys that use to work there.Just so happened to stop by.He was able to fix it.After leaving the shop i noticed my music wasnt putting out.like it was suppose to.Also my middle console side piece was shattered to pieces.After returning 5 min later i confront the Gentleman behind the counter and ask him about the damage.Of course he tells me it was already like that.My radio system he had no idea why it was not playing as loud as it should have.Will never ever return.The next Day I took my Vehicle to "Fly"Mays 519 Customz on Covington Highway.They repaired everything .Great deal Super professional.Platinum Auto the two guys that did the horrible job on my truck were the owners and they're liars.How can you be my Grandparents age and still lie about simple things.Instead of owning up to it.Horrible experience

Be warned...Stay away from this place.Total ripoff artist.Went here for music installation.My car was tore up ,broke my plastic panels and not put car back together .Did'nt even bother to put pins back in to button up interior.Also found that fender well plastic was removed and replaced wrong with large hot wire running across sharp edge of frame.Sticking outside of car.Now to make matters worse after taking my $160.When I returned to have it corrected I was handled like i was at fault.Instead of taking care of customer prefered to get away from fault and saying wire is thick it will be fine for now.Ticking time bomb....Then I'm Told to wait to Kelvin gets back.Then told he's in Florida for weekend.Why the lie?

Went to put an alarm in and messed up my Radio. Wouldn't even look at it. Nice as can be taking your money but no service after the fact.

Good place to come too. You don't have to pay an arm and leg for good audio. Definitely would go back to give more business to them.

They hotwired a wire from the radio to my fuse box and it drains my battery overnight. No, I would not recommend this place to anyone!
