DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE!!! I brought my 2015 Yukon in here for an oil change. I had them add some Lucas with the oil to help with the hydraulic lifters in my engine. I drove away after and half a mile down the road my check engine light comes on and my truck starts smoking. I brought it back and they changed spark plugs and tried to fix their mistake, but nothing worked. Greg the claims manager even saw these photos and told me they showed my vehicle had a blown head gasket or bad piston rings. I took my Yukon down the street to Thornton Chevrolet and it was confirmed that Take5 caused major engine damage and that I need a new engine. They are not doing anything about it at all, and told me that adding Lucas voided all warranties. Lucas is a very common additive and was added to my Yukon at approved specifications. These people ruined my engine and I am out $10k plus dollars which I don t have. PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE. THESE GUYS HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY ARE DOING!

As a female, it can sometimes be challenging to deal with necessary maintenance on my car. This was my first experience @ Take 5, and must say, staff was extremely pleasant, and quite informative. Usually feel like I'm being exploited because of my lack of automotive knowledge, but I felt at ease here. Have found my go to place for all my future oil changes and highly recommend without hesitation.

They did not have the correct screwdriver to perform my oil change. I m not sure why it s being reported that this establishment serviced my car. I had to go a few miles away to Grease Monkey. Grease Monkey changed my car without any unexpected inconveniences. Take 5 was very unprofessional, rude and nonchalant. I sat for 20 mins before I was told that they couldn t perform the oil change because they couldn t find the correct sized screw driver for my car. I attempted to go to Auto Zone (down the street) but they didn t have the screwdriver in stock. I searched for the nearest place to get an oil change; grease monkey was the closest. Thankfully Grease Monkey was able & available to fix everything.

I went here to get my oil changed and it was really quick and the workers were nice. But they didn t even tighten the nut to stop the oil from draining back out. He could literally unscrew it with his hand.If it wasn t for my dad changing my breaks and him noticing oil dripping from the bolt my car would have been fuked. Not going back unfortunately.

This will be my new place for oil changes. The staff was very insightful when I had concerns about my car. I felt like they were talking to me as a person and not as if I don't know how a car operates. Highly appreciated and highly recommended. Side note: they gave me fruit snacks and water while I waited. A nice touch

Love the professionalism of the team. They are fast efficient and very consistent. But on this last visit I asked to have the windshield wipers I had purchased from them under the pretense that they were under warranty removed and replaced because they do not work properly at all, only to find out they show no record of me purchasing them in the first place . So I have to keep the horrible cheap windshield wipers that they gave me. I should have kept the nice Bosh windshield wipers I had on the vehicle. I should have known that the replacement wipers were not going to be of the same quality as the ones they removed from my vehicle, but I try to get at least one additional service suggestion they give to me from time to time. This time I had my air filter replaced along with my oil change. Again they do a great job with oil changes and I am sure that the last person that rang me up for the wipers made a honest mistake. But no one tried to rectify the issue at all once I brought it to their attention.

Excellent service. I was having car trouble and asked them to check all the car fluids. When no problems were found they recommended two repair shops in the area.

Quick, friendly, and the guys knew what they were doing. I bought a used car that morning and immediately came to change the oil since it needed to be done and I was in and out in less than 16min.

I don t know where to start. They was trying so hard to charge me extra for everything. First started with trying to sale me the highest oil change i was trying to get the next one under that. So they told me they only had the more expensive oil which I said cool cause I didn t feel like going anywhere else. Then after agreeing to that my payment came down too 131.57$ so I m bout to give him my card to make the payment so I said hold up wait I got a coupon. Which is 13$ off and he scans the barcode then tell me my total is 126.57$ I don t know how 13$ dollars off only takes 5$ dollars off. Guess I can t count well. Lol

I come here often for my oil change and the customer service is always great. I've only had to wait longer than 5 min once . Overall I'm satisfied with the service and plan to keep frequenting the location for oil changes

The techs were very nice, and it was fast service without the requirement of an appointment, but the cost for the oil change was quite high. I guess you can't have all three - fast, cheap, and convenient!So, if I had not procrastinated, I would have gone elsewhere, but the guys were kind, and I was in and out - do the cost was worth it for that experience.

The mgmt and gentleman at this location are always professional and very helpful with top offs!! I appreciate all of them. I especially love the bottle water and snack every time and them checking my tires for me everytime! I strongly recommend Take 5 for oil changes!

This was my first time and I was very impressed. I got an oil change and changed my wiper blades and they were so fast and efficient. It was like being in a pit stop at a race track. I will definitely be back. If you are in a hurry or not this is the place to go. You don t have to leave your car and by the time you pay they are done. I liked the fact that they told you everything that they were doing as they were doing it. Didn t get any names but good job everybody!

Nothing great about this location. I guess I got the lazy employee. When I arrived a nice gentleman greeted me and offered me water but it was a young girl with purple hair who serviced my vehicle. She mumbled some options at me like she was speed racing and did just the bare minimum. She held the dipstick backwards when she attempted to show me the oil level. No one checked my fluid levels, no one checked my tire pressure, I had to ask. They also didn't show me my filter. No wiping of the windshield and no one asked if I needed to reset my oil light. It's a basic drain the oil, fill the oil service and I paid $100. I know these are franchises so I'll revisit the one in Union City where they actually engage with the customers. That purple hair girl was not for me.

I had such an amazing experience at this location! They ensured that my tires and all levels of fluids in my car were at the appropriate levels. They also offered me water while I waited inside of my car as they performed my oil change.

Basic oil changes are $110 now for $25 of oil and a $5 filter?! In the future I ll be doing it myself. Service was fine, but they re charging $70 for 5-10 minutes of work.

Negative Experience at take 5 Location for Routine Oil ChangeI recently took my 2018 Audi A4 Ultra Sedan to an auto location for an oil change. However, the experience turned out to be a nightmare.The store manager, who had small dreads, completed the oil change and said my car was good to go. But as soon as my husband started driving, the car wouldn't switch gears. The manager then informed us that the transmission sensor had gone off and needed to be replaced. He went to the nearest auto zone to find the part, but didn't have the right tool to change it.As the evening approached, I became more irritated and asked the manager how much longer it would take. He replied that he was waiting for the transmission fluid to drain out, which was surprising since I was only there for an oil change. It was pushing 6 pm and we had no choice but to leave the car there overnight.The next day, a hire up manager said he would tow my car to Audi of Marietta and asked us to wait for his call. But after waiting for hours, he didn't respond to our messages. We missed a day of work and finally had to call our warranty company to tow the car.I am extremely disappointed with the lack of professionalism and customer care at this location. They were negligent and inconsiderate, and I'm left without a car for a minimum of 2 weeks since it ll be a week before my car can get that diagnostic done and they have no loaner cars available. I would advise anyone to avoid this location at all costs.

Unfortunately, I have to say that my experience was not so well. The gentleman that did my oil change were very sweet and very honest it did not take that long and I hate that I have to post his review but to receive an email for a coupon and get to the shop and be told that you guys are not honoring the coupon because of your Corparate Office says so is very ridiculous. Why even send the coupons out if we can t use them I don t understand.

They did a good job. Its an oil change, I mean we're not splitting atoms... The price was a bit extreme for a basic oil change and fluid check. Was a spur of the moment thing so will be returning to my normal provider going forward for the money savings. I cant say anything bad about the quality of their work and they were very nice.

The guys are always friendly and ready to service me when me & my Jeep. I appreciate how fast they work cause I'm always having somewhere to be. Even with moving 30 mins away, I'm probably going to come back to this location to continue being serviced.

Very friendly and quick. Only suggestion is to make sure all four tires have correct tire pressure, mine was 33/34/35/36. So either the pressure testing tool is not working properly or the person putting it in needs a refresher on reading a gauge.

My car is now unsafe to drive because I received an oil change on 10/30/23 that leaked out COMPLETELY by 11/12/23. The only reason there would be one star is because of a different franchise owner that has nothing to do with this location taking time out to listen even though there was nothing he could do. The claims specialist that is supposed to be investigating the situation and assisting me has been unresponsive and the owner had the nerve to offer to go half on an uber for me to go home because the managers were telling him my car wasn t safe to drive. They tried to offer a remedy that even one of their grey shirts said wouldn t fix the problem. In addition to admitting that the oil leaking out should ve never happened. They then tried to flip the script on me by using a note that was written on my account in FEBRUARY to say that was the issue. I had no lights on my dash when I arrived on 10/30/23. When I took the car back on 11/12/23, the check engine light & oil needed light came on and the car started smoking and sounding like the great value version of a hellcat as soon as I pulled up to the bay. To which details, a grey shirt confirmed were true. All of this because a tech wasn t being attentive while completing my oil change. There are many more details surrounding this event that I will spare for now. And i get that mistakes happen, but to be so prideful and basically say that this is somehow my fault is ridiculous. All I m asking is for Take 5 of Lithia Springs to take responsibility and rectify all that has gone wrong as a result of their negligence.

Just overall, FIRE!!! THE BEST service. I'm a woman that knows NOTHING about the knowledge of oil change stuff, but they were very patient in explaining everything. For example, how the pricing works and current promotions they were running. Those commercials on TV are extremely accurate because I was trying to finish the last 10min of my show, and before it was over, they were done.

Fast , efficient, and customer friendly. Perhaps my 5th oil change at Take 5 on Thornton Rd. They have taken precious care of my 2010 Hyundai Genesis and I certainly recommend them.

Great courteous service. 25% veterans discount. I'm from Milwaukee and use Take 5 there also
