Human error and an apology.All appointments need human contact since electronically customers can slip through the transaction. Thank goodness my repair wasn t an emergency after waiting a month to hear that my truck couldn t be serviced at your location.I understand if there s a policy but time was very much wasted and nothing can replace that, therefore my review is what it is. To the young lady that apologized thank you for explaining to me the policy and what happened to this mixup. You are five stars, please help the guy at the counter. There was no service call from the manager so, I get it I m not a customer and you don t want me to become one.Thanks againFrom a GM Customer

On Monday November 6, 2023 I called to set up an appointment for repair for an emissions problem I spoke with advisor Ryan and I was told that they had an appointment on Nov. 7 at 9:30am and they could repair it then. I asked if we could drop off the car before they closed on Monday. We met with advisor Ryan and he checked the oDB code and he said a technician would take care of repairs Tuesday morning and they would call to give us a price for repairs. By 2pm Tuesday we had not heard back from them. I called and Ryan said a technician was going to bring him a parts list and he would call back. We got no call. Wednesday morning I called and got the run around again so I called back and talked to the service manager and he said he only had 3 technicians that could do the repair and they were on other jobs. I told him our repair appointment was over 24 hours ago and someone should have fixed it during that time period. I spoke to the service manager again mid morning Thursday still no one working on the car. The book time to make the repairs only called for 1 1/2 hour. A new service advisor called late Thursday afternoon and said they should have it fixed by Friday morning. Over 500 in labor costs for a job that the book says 1 1/2 hours.VERY POOR SERVICE they could have done something to make up for all of the lies and way overpriced labor sometimes something as simple as detailing the car and giving a percentage off of service would make most customers happy however they did not do ANYTHING. We will be purchasing new vehicles soon and we are glad that there are other options.Service: Auto engine tuning

Omg! My experience here was phenomenal! From beginning to end the process was definitely painless. My service advisor Mark Smith hands down renewed my confidence in bringing my car to be serviced without getting hustled and played. He kept me a part of the entire process, helped me understand my warranty, answered all my questions, and was respectful and polite throughout. After my car was ready, he sent me a driver to pick me up. Had my car ready at the door. And even called after I left to make sure my car was driving like it should. I m so impressed! 10/10 I would definitely return and recommend! Thanks Mr.Mark!

I am extremely displeased with the service level at John Thorton Chevrolet. There has not been one time where i have taken my vehicle in for service whether it was for an oil change, tire rotation and balance, or even tire replacement where it has not take 3 or more hours to do so. No matter what the day is they claim to be always busy. Every time I look to make an appointment online it is always a week or so out. I ended up buying tires from them, big mistake, because i can never get it in to get serviced for a rotatiin and balance. So i have to schedule at other dealerships and pay who always can get me in either same day or next day. I have a nail in my tire now in which John Thorton cant get me in so now i have to go to another dealer who can. I am disappointed in the service department at this place. I had hopes that my experience would be different from others telling me not to go there. But, unfortunately it wasnt.

Came in for a SCHEDULED oil change and maintenance. Took them almost 3 hours. I ve been here before and it had never taken this long. Definitely needs improvement. By the way no other issues were found. Last time coming here

I don t like leaving negative reviews; however, I could not let this pass. John Thornton Chevrolet body shop is the most unorganized, unprofessional place of business I ve ever dealt with. The body shops personnel are not customer focused and don t seem to care about the customer. There is no sense of urgency with anything and they re not skilled in communications with insurance companies. They do not appear to be in tune with coordinating services between body shop and service department and insurance reps to complete a customer s job. I would not recommend this facility at all! Very disappointed in getting the run around going back and forth. They don t communicate clearly, are unconcerned, and are slow as heck. Select another facility for body shop repair.

Purchasing a car somehow never seems to be a great experience! I was hoping that the process would be more pleasant at Thornton Chevy because they seem to have been in business for a long time, but their staff is rude & they talk to you as if I should be thankful for their time instead of them being thankful for your business. The first time I was there to test drive my car the sales rep was indeed very friendly & professional, but when it came down to the part of finalizing the paperwork I brought them everything they needed from me & they forgot to copy half of my stuff. A few days later they contacted me and made it sound like it's my fault that certain documents are missing & instead of apologizing for not making all the copies they needed, they demanded in a very rude way that I have to send it to them (keep in mind that they already had the funds). Will definitely not purchase another vehicle here & will not recommend this dealership to any friends & family!

I went looking for a car after mine unexpected was too expensive to repair. I worked with Adriana she was AMAZING and transparent which is what you want from the person selling you a car. So far I am very satisfied with my purchase. If you go there looking for a car ask for Adriana she will take care of you

They scratched my bumper up, and then printed out black and white photos which you clearly couldn t see and attempted to say that the scratches were there when in fact they weren t. Also my car is brand NEW so it s no way that my car would be as scratched up as it is, it was also a sticker residue on my bumper that was never there either that I made them clean off the same day I picked my vehicle up. Long story short please choose another body shop. You take your car here to get fixed, and leave with more problems.

When I left this dealership 5 of my locks for my custom wheels was missing & replaced with regular wheel locks. I guess because I a female I wouldn't check this after a tire rotation. I had other problems with this dealership. I gave then a 1 star because they was nice and getting over.

Make sure to ask the person to let you drive the car before purchasing it, mine came with a big defect and they do not want to fix it, if the sales person were just kind enough to ask me if I wanted to test the car I could have find the problem before purchasing it, it should be their job to ask if costumers want to test the vehicle before since when purchasing a vehicle most of the people are so happy that forget about things like this!

I came in for a oil change and tire rotation. I assume they figure that I wouldn t know my tires weren t rotated but they failed to realize that I had a different brand tire on my car. The tire was still on the car on the back when I came in for service. I think they take of advantage of women when they come to get their car serviced

Awesome place ! Purchased my a brand new 2019 from here after a failed attempt at Steve Rayman Chevrolet horrible customer service. John Thornton got me in and out. Where an appointment means an appointment not just have a seat as the balding African American guy told me at Rayman!

They had my car since thursday of last week its been 6 days still haven't touched my car an then they tell me I have 11 cars in front of me still after they told me it would only take 3 days to fix my car they haven't even diagnosed my vehicle yet to even know what the problems are no loaner car or anything

Brian is the best customer service advisor up there. I have been dealing these people almost 20 years. After bill heard Chevrolet closed I started going to Thornton Chevrolet.

The experience that I have had with them is minimal (for now). I can say they were understanding of my concerns about my car and were happy to help. I will update later :)

The customer service was excellent I just felt uneasy when the technician got out of my car without a mask on and my steering wheel was not covered in plastic I think with this virus going on this dealership should take more precautions.

Their shop tends to cost more than the average place for repairs but the staff is great with communication and friendly so I don t mind paying a little more for a smoother experience.

Right after my car was in a accident they did the body work and right after the body work i had nothing but issues with my car. It s like they didn t do a full inspection to make sure the car was working.
