Ej was the best car salesman ever! Helped me get the best deal on my FIRST car and was transparent throughout the whole process! 10/10 would recommend working with him. Best guy at the lot!

1/26 I bought my car to be serviced after purchasing it 2 days before. When I got the vehicle back, the SOS EMERGENCY CALL light was still on. I went back to the dealership 1/27 @1pm to have the light cut off,easy fix so I thought.Their were who had people that had appointments after me seen before me. I looked out the service door at 3pm to see my car had not been serviced. I asked the Manager by the name of RANDY why my vehicle had not been serviced, yet he had no clue as to why it wasn t being checked either. So he let me know he would get on it immediately. When my car was finally taken back to service to be looked at, it was 5pm, they returned my car at 5:35. It makes no sense that they had my car a minimual of 30minz , just to tell me that the parts that are needed have to be ordered for the vehicle and when it comes in they will give me a call. So you mean to tell me that I waited 4hrs for you to keep my car for 30minz just to tell me my parts have to be ordered? I wasn t offered a rental or anything for my wait I ve been in customer service for over 8 years, and this is not how you treat customers, yet a returning customer who has already purchased 3 vehicles from you! You must do better . LETS NOT FORGET CUSTOMERS KEEP YOUR DOORS OPEN! I must say that my sales associates Waymon and Sir treated me amazingly! I extend to you both, a huge THANK YOU FOR SHOWING GENUINE CONCERN LASTLY, I d like to shoutout James for always detailing my vehicles!I attached 2 pictures of the things I need fixed in my vehicle ASAP!

I have a 2023 VW Taos that was purchased October 2022 with 32k miles. I bought it from Sutherlin that is now Hoover VW. I have been to service 3 times for things other than oil changes. Each time I have come for something I have return a second time. Yesterday, I returned to Hoover ( which has the same employees as when it was Sutherlin) for an ordered brake light assembly. I was told it was installed. I made it home with no alerts but as soon as I got in the car this morning the alerts came on dash saying my brake light is not working. Now, I am back again having driven less than 25 miles when it came back up. My question is did they change my brake light assembly? Originally, the light was working sometimes and then not others. I have lost all trust in VW as a brand. Last time I got brakes at 20k+/-, 1st the service did not take me in saying that this is the noise that Taos make. He has one and every day the brakes make a scrubbing noise. So I took my car somewhere else were they told me I need pads and maybe rotors with the noise. The first time I was confused about my service issue at about 12k-/+, my check engine light was on. They told me that it is my gas. I told them I go to the same place. They sent me away. It came back on and I returned come to find out it was an Evap part that needed replacing. This is frustrating and too much trouble to keep coming back. I would not refer anyone to buy VW. It s gonna be a hassle for you if you do too early on after buying your car.

The only thing I can tell you is that before buying they are safe and informed because they are ashamed abusers and liars after you sign they will no longer give you another solution that easy... do not buy in that place and to top it off the very dirty carA car of 17,500 and to pay 35,000 dollars what a shame. Sir was my salesman, and I couldn't have been more grateful for a patient yet determined salesman making sure I left as a happy customer. I came in with my mind set on one car and that's exactly what I left with! I can't thank you guys @Hoover enough for not only getting me into my first vehicle, but my dream vehicle! AVOID BUYING FROM THEM! THEIR SALES AND ACCOUNT MANAGERS ARE UNPROFESSIONAL.In early February, we purchased a 2024 atlas cross sport from this dealership (hoover Volkswagen Lithia Spring).The sales rep was awesome, however, the process with the account manager took longer than expected, then due to multiple errors in the paperwork it had to be redone three times. To close we declined additional packages that were offered and finalized the deal. On our way home, we received a call from the account manager claiming there was an error in the paperwork regarding the purchase price, claiming the purchase price should have been 5K more than what we signed off on and that the contact was void. He then insisted we return to the dealership on Monday to redo the paperwork. When we got home upon review, we found the purchase amount matched what we agreed upon. My husband returned on Monday to clear up what was going on, but he was greeted with hostility and unprofessional behavior from both the sales manager and the account manager. They attacked his character and the sales manager stated that he could not honor the deal since it was void (without giving a reason why it was void) and demanded that my husband could not leave with the vehicle we purchased. So, he said OK, he will talk to our lawyer and handed over the keys to the atlas cross sport.After consulting with a lawyer, we learned that legally, the car belonged to us, and the contract was indeed legally binding. At this point we could sue for breach of contract and demand that the vehicle be returned to us since it was legally purchased, and the signed contract was not void. However, due to the terrible experience and unprofessional behavior from the sales and account managers, we decided this was not worth the battle since there are many other Volkswagen dealerships out there.That same week, we found the same 2024 Atlas Cross Sport at Volkswagen Marietta who were very transparent with their prices, and we paid $5k less than the price Hoover Volkswagen Lithia Spring insisted they couldn't honor. Overall, the experience at Hoover Volkswagen Lithia Spring was dreadful, and we were appalled by the lack of professionalism from the sales and account managers.

I called to make appointment for replacing seat belt receptacle and get price quote. The woman who answered my call to the service department quoted me a price of 69.95 for two hour job. When I arrived at dealer, service advisor told me that the quote was a mistake and the price would be $380 plus tax. I said that was unacceptable and asked to speak to his manager. Again, the response from the service manager was sorry for the mistake and we need to charge you 380. I told him I would have never come in and pay that for a simple job. I also said it was your mistake and you should honor the quote. That is what a reputable dealer would do. He said no and then gave me some lame analogy about his dental visit. I wanted the problem fixed so I said. How about 200, which was more than twice the original quote. After much reluctance he agreed. Bottom line is a reputable dealer would have honored the original price. This place should have better supervision over whomever answers the phones to set appointments and give out price quotes for work to be done.This place only responds to positive reviews...Respond to my NEGATIVE review.....

Jason Steave greeted me quickly when I walked into Hoover on a rainy day in mid January. I shared with him what I was looking for and my price point goal and he happily showed me a few options. I came back about two weeks later(1/25/24) and Jason once again assisted me. He was positive, transparent, helpful and cooperative. He even let me have a longer test drive on a busy day in quite a bit of after school traffic. When it comes to vehicle s, I can be a challenging and particular customer but Jason was patient and we closed the deal that evening. Lastly, I was having trouble transferring my car insurance since I just moved from California to Georgia so Jason even stayed late to make sure that it was complete and that I was comfortable and happy. I really appreciate Jason s patience, kindness and level of experience so I am happy to recommend him and Hoover to others. Also, a thank you to Larry and Aaron in finance as well.

My dad and I purchased a car with with this dealership last week, and when I say that the customer service that was displaced was outstanding! From Jamill (Manager) giving my father a call to inquire about his business, to Sir (Sales Rep) going above and beyond to make sure that my dad left the dealership with the car he wanted. I just want to say thank you so much for all that you have done for him and if there is someone in need of a car I will always refer them to you all!

I purchased a 2021Ram 2500 that was advertised at a great price..well, it was bait and switch. Fast forward to a $3500 increase at the negotiation table, where I was lied to about what that fee was, and where it came from. Then, after getting the truck home, I noticed an oil leak. So brought it back in and now the fun begins with the service department. They tried to tell me that everything was fine and there was no leak, that it was residual from the oil filter. After I voiced my concerns, the general manager sent the truck to the Dodge dealership where they discovered the oil change was done incorrectly, but that s not all. I have to call a week later to follow up where no one in the dealership takes ownership of the problem and follows up with me. I speak with the lady in the service department and she tells me that the Dodge dealership is a week out from even seeing my vehicle where I was told that from the beginning , I tried to stop her and inquire what was going on and she hung up on me. so needless to say, don t expect any kind of service from this dealership. Don t expect honesty, don t expect Integrity, don t expect anyone to care about your experience. It took me calling the corporate office and dodge dealership directly. WORST VEHICLE PURCHASING EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFETIME! The only positive thing I can say, is that my sales person, EJ, worked hard, and did the best he could with what he had to work with which wasn t much. This young man was the only bloom in a sea of vegetation. I advised him to find himself another place to work so they don t ruin his work ethic and integrity.

I can not express the professional and calm manner today when I purchased a car when I was only going to test drive l a car .. he was knowledgeable and listened to me ans consistently asked me if I needed anything through the process .. if you ever want a good experience with no pressure , he will assist you in every way and tell you the good and bad bout everything !! I went to purchase a car which was suppose to be a Charger and put down $500 down deposit to keep it from getting sold when I got there they presented me with a totally different car. Convince me to keep it for a month and trade it back in by saleman Jamil. I cried and was there for 6 hours to purchase and drive off with this car did not really want. Jamil is such a great salesman and help with utility bills and paystubs to help qualification for purchasing, however they do called General Manager is a Con Artist. I spoke to him told him I really did not want the car I was tricked in , he decide not to send all info to the as requested and got my loan disapproved and took my car back. I personally spoke to the bank and they stated they were on information from my dealer and he never sent it over. I have never experienced something so horrible when purchasing a car in my life. Please don t purchase from them. They play games and tricks

BEWARE OF ILLEGAL DEALER FEES!!!!It is illegal in GA for car dealerships to not honor the listed price of a car ad also they are legally prohibited from charging ANY additional fees to the listed price except for legal, regulatory and lemon law fee (the lemon law only if it is new). Charging $399 for electronic filling fee that costs them about $25 is also not allowed.I test drove a 2014 Jeep Patriot and as I pulled out of the lot I realized it was not just on E but below it. It almost immediately started to sputter on a busy 3-4 lane main road and I was in the far left lane. Luckily I was able to make it safely all the way over to the right and into a gas station. The traffic o that road is usually insane and we could all 3 have been badly hurt. My boyfriend and the sales guy had t push it to the pump. Then it would not crank or stay cranked. It was the alternator. The sales manager Nick offered a warranty when I refused to pay the $1,400 and something dollar inspection fee since it obviously was not ever inspected. It also had a driver side fog light that was dangling. The sales rep said the fog light would be fixed and the sales manager Nick offered to give me a warranty if I agreed to pay the $1,400 something for the inspection fee. They replaced the alternator but instead of fixing the fog light they removed them both altogether and stuck plastic inserts into the holes.Despite me telling them that GA law prohibits them from charging anything but legal and regulatory fees to the listed price they would not take them off. And after realizing that every dealership I have been to has done this they likely all do and I have to have a car, I had no choice but to buy it so I could get back to work.The Jeep was listed for $5,538 and I put $500 down. The price they put on the paper work for the price of the car is $7,587.58, a $995 dealer fee ( an illegal fee as per GA law), $399 for the electronic filling fee which should cost about $25 and they can be fined per case for this ridiculous amount), Nick had them charge me $2,020 for the warranty/service contract despite telling me that it would not cost me if I agreed to the other illegal fee. This made it $10, 539.58 that I had to finance to get a $5,538 car ($5,038 after my down payment). THAT IS THOUSANDS IN ILLEGALLY CHARGED FEES. Despite me telling them that what they were doing was against the law and that I had to recently relocate quickly due to a domestic violence issue where the person destroyed my vehicle and it cost me thousands to relocate. But every dealer I went to tried to do this so it is obviously no one is reporting them or enforcing the law. I will also be reporting this to the BBB, GA Attorney General, The GA Secretary of State, Consumer Affairs and the Internal Revenue as well if this is not resolved and they get with the finance company and remove the thousands of dollars they illegally charged me.Anyone else dealing with this from them or any dealer please report them to the agencies listed above.

My experience at Hoover Volkswagen was amazing! My husband and I worked with Jibril who went above and beyond to find us what we were looking for. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and was phenomenal with following up (which is very rare these days). He answered every call, text, and voicemail promptly or with a 5-10 minute phone call back. When it was time to go into financing he was trooper; he understood our price point and fought for us well! If you are ever in the area and looking for a great place with wonderful salesman Jibril at Hoover is your guy!!!!

Big shout to my guy Wayne W. If you re ever looking to get a vehicle here, ask for him. I just got a 2024 Atlas and applied online. Wayne was on it right away sending me videos and giving me full details, he knows his cars. Then when I came in personal he and his whole team made me feel like family. They made me feel comfortable and they fed me y all lol. Honestly the transition was smooth.Thank you Sutherlin VW for making me feel like I m VIP and thanks again Wayne for taking care of me. Getting that call from the dealership for a trade-in estimate made me hesitant, but meeting EJ was a game-changer! EJ's sales skills impressed me committed without being pushy! He patiently tackled all my questions, even chatted with my family on the phone to answer their questions. True to his word, he came through with a fantastic offer. I wish I could give 0 stars. Absolutely horrendous experience. At first, it seemed like a great dealership and friendly. But after we purchased our vehicle, it has been nothing but unanswered problems and broken promises. First, our vehicle came with 2 keys in our contract, they could only find one key and promised to send the second key the following Monday - it has been over a month and NO ONE will return any calls or messages. Second, my temporary license plate is expired, and when I called to check on the status of permanent plates, they hadn't even sent in the paperwork yet and won't issue a new temporary plate. Third, they took a month to contact my previous lender on my trade-in vehicle and now my credit report is dinged for late payment after I had already traded in the vehicle. I have called 6+ times to speak with a manager with no response or call back. The sales agent John will not respond. I have now taken this issue to the corporate office. Save yourself the trouble and purchase anywhere else!
