I typically appreciate directness, and in this review, I'll do just that. Our truck went to Pro Body Shop with an initial repair quote of $2,225.97. This shop was referred by our claims adjuster! By the time we got our final bill, the shop had added six supplements, which our insurance paid, amounting to $8,270.56. That's a significant jump for what was initially described as minor work.We handed over our truck on July 20, 2023, expecting prompt and efficient service. To our dismay, we only retrieved it on October 6, 2023. The craftsmanship was far below par. Our bumper and bumper cover were held together by zip ties, and our original decals were missing. When I went in person on October 5th (due to a lack of communication from their end), I encountered unexpected issues which led to my seeking assistance from law enforcement. To add insult to injury, I was told I had to pay the $500 deductible upfront and wait for a callback confirming all supplements were cleared to ultimately drive away with an unfinished truck.The entire ordeal was chaotic. We've gathered compelling evidence that points towards payments made for tasks not completed and things certainly not needed. Before choosing Pro Body Shop, I urge you to view the accompanying photos and reconsider. I took my car in for an ALL OVER paint job,etc. I have a 2005 4Runner. The paint had rust on the hood, roof and other small areas. Pro Body Shop did such an awesome job restoring my car to the factory appearance I fell in love with my car all over again . Not only does it drive smooth, it looks smooth now The only thing I can say was disappointing is the job took longer than I was told when I dropped off my car. But I think it was worth it!! I thought I needed new headlights for my 2014 Honda Accord Mario the owner said let's try restoration first...he could have said YES to brand new headlights and it would have cost me waaay more my restored headlights look AMAZING!!! 2nd visit detailing the beige interior of the same car because it was sooo GRUNGY the crud was making me feel overwhelmed...48 hours later my car is BEAUTIFUL they even did exterior I am so HAPPY thanks guys great work!!!! 3rd visit will be tinted windows

The owner of this company was very dismissive and rude when I had questions about the body work that needed to be done on my vehicle. The ladies at the front desk was just as rude.. They had my car for over a month and I was very disappointed in their work. My car was very dirty and a few parts on the inside damage I wouldn't recommend this unprofessional company.

It all started with a single message on Yelp inquiring about a project I had to get a widebody kit installed and painted on my 2015 Subaru BRZ. From the moment I went in for my first meeting to discuss what I wanted to the final piece. Professional! They always kept me in the loop of any issues, problems, suggestions. Their goal is not to rush anything, their goal is to ensure the work is done properly. The result is shown and the painting was flawless. I will from now on always recommend this shop for any painting or kits that need to be done.

A total nightmare is my experience with this company. I am very disappointed with the customer service and in general how long it took this company to send a true estimate to my insurance company. I have been understanding and patient in this matter. My car has been with this company since August 25, 2022. Ellis Automotive lowballed the costs of parts and labor. I understand that since my car was a 2022 that there were parts that they had to wait to come in from the manufacturer. Once this shop sent in a request for a 5th supplement, my insurance company deemed it a total loss. The 5th supplement was to cover additional labor costs to complete the work. My car wasn't even in a drivable condition so when November came, they completed most of the work to be able to get it to driving standards. My insurance company has been trying to recover the car since November 17, 2022. It is now December 2, 2022, the shop refuses to release the car to my insurance company. Ms. Alisha Jackson (Office Manager) stated that she will have the final numbers sent over to my insurance company on December 01, 2022, by 5:30 pm. The numbers were never sent over. Today is December 02, 2022, and she now stands on saying that the numbers will be sent over by 5:30 pm today. This bad review comes because as a customer I have been told different things. Whenever I call, I am automatically put on hold for 10 or more minutes. The front desk assistant sometimes picks up and states that Ms. Jackson is busy (in a meeting or handling other customers). The owner is never in and I honestly think that the owner doesn't know how his business is being run. Never have I disrespected the personnel and to be honest the amount of disrespect I have received from 2 of the personnel has added to my horrible experience with my car accident. Business owner to Business owner please be upfront and kind to your customers. The fact that my car has been getting serviced by this company since August 2022 and it is now December 2022 is saddening because my insurance company has given them 3 weeks to send over the final numbers.The rude and condescending comments were never needed and acceptable, especially when your dealing with a customer that has been nothing but nice and understanding. I haven't called excessively because I have been giving them time to complete the work and understand that they have other customers. If numbers are the only thing that you all have to gather then why is the car being held? None of my questions have been answered. So for anyone that is reading this review please RUN RUN RUN if your car has major damage. Don't have any faith in this company to be able to deliver because per Ms. Alisha Jackson she is "not in the business of faith".� Oh and let me add that if you are a customer that has been trying to close out dealings with this company, Ellis Automotive will put all new customers before you and drag their feet.Update: Ms. Jackson sent the email at 6:02 pm on December 2, 2022, with the final numbers and added charges for storage fees up to DECEMBER 6, 2022. Within the numbers, she didn't provide any invoices to support the parts restocking fees. My insurance company has been trying to pick up the car since 11-17-2022. Ellis Automotive is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. This is ridiculous my insurance company has been trying to close out business all week with them. $3640 for storage fee? My insurance has been trying to pick it up since the middle of November. Ms. Jackson didn't send supporting documentation for the charges that she sent to my insurance company. She refuses to release the vehicle, when in fact the Body shop owes my insurance company money. Since the matter isn't resolved, she states that it will take additional time to recover invoices and additional storage fees will be added.Advice to owner: GET A NEW OFFICE MANAGER THAT CAN COMPLETE THE JOB AND KNOWS HOW TO DO BASIC BOOK-KEEPING. PLEASE PROVIDE CUSTOMER SERVICE TRAINING TO YOUR STAFF.The owner is aware with the bad practices of his business. RUN & DONT USE THEM.

After going to auto zone and receiving the wrong information about my batter, I came to Pro Body Shop in Lithia Springs where not only the service was fast but these guys really know there stuff. This was probably the best experience I ve ever had in regards to automotive repair. We were heading out for a road trip that morning and hit some debris that was left on the highway, had to immediately pull over and were referred here by Carmax. The owner of this establishment (Mario) literally made miracles happen by ordering the parts we needed, they didn t get shipped correctly, he continued to try, somehow got them delivered, and was able to have us back on the road by that evening. I cannot say enough good things about the service, the quality of work, and overall pleasant experience we had with them. You saved our trip, Mario!! You re the best! Will always come here for any repair work I need and will continually recommend them. Great job, y all.

I needed an estimate done on my vehicle so I towed it to this place so they could provide that for me. Since that tow it's been a week and they've done nothing but give me the runaround. Since then I've called them daily and the only thing they've done every day is provide me with a new excuse to not do the work. It shouldn't be difficult to say that the vehicle has been totaled but they've gone through Great lengths to be very lazy. If they read this and reply the reader and I will know it's another excuse and you can bet your bottom dollar nothing will have been done. Don't spend your money here.

My experience with Mr. Hines was awesome. He worked with me when it came to my deductible. I was very very pleased with the outcome of my car. I would recommend him to anyone. I did not get to meet the men who worked on my car, but I would like to thank them as well, because the job looks amazing. I can't even tell it had a scratch on it. Thanks again Pro Body Shop. Ellis auto is simply the best. Mario is the owner and stands behind his work. I have work done on three cars and the work is always exceptional. He is very reasonable and very prompt. He inspects every single job before you pick it . He has excellent customer service and his works speaks for itself. His Team does an amazing job . I high recommend using Ellis automotive. My trucks and cares look brand I am so grateful.

I brought my car in because there was air coming in from around my windshield. They claim to have replaced the windshield, but it was worse than when I brought it in. Sounded as if my windows were rolled down. Not to mention they scratched the paint while doing so. Smh.Needless to say, I'll take it to Ford.

My car was not ready when they said it was going to be. I call and say it would be ready be at 530 everyday for a week. Then when I finally got my car there wash trash in my car and the repairs were not complete like we agreed to. And the repairs that were completed were not correct. Office personnel very rude and not helpful. Owner Mario never returned my calls.

My wife and I buy a car from CarMax and it needs to be cleaned up before we get possession of it. But whoever tried to clean it up used high speed buffer and burnt the paint. CarMax call Pro Body Shop and ask them to fix it and finish cleaning up and buffing the car. The owner and employees a Pro Body Shop are very nice, but the quality of work that they do is not very good. Maybe just because CarMax was paying them and maybe CarMax only pays the bare minimum, I don't know. But there was wax residue all over the car that they should have wiped off and I can definitely see the spot they painted over. It doesn't look like they sanded it that much or try to level it out much. It looks like they just match the color, which looks great, painted over it and then clear-coated it. So I have okay another vehicle that needs the front fender painted and I will not be asking Pro Body Shop for a quote or to do the job.

My front bumper was mildly damaged earlier this week and I had never been to a body shop before. After shopping around a bit I was amazed at the high price of what I thought was a simple fix. After checking in here, I was greeted with a friendly smile and given several options that were very detailed but easy to understand. In the end I chose a simple fix for my bumper and I was pleasantly surprised at how reasonable the price was. It was obvious that I knew nothing about how much a bumper fix would cost and I've always been warned to be wary of auto repair shops. But everything about Ellis AR was reassuring from the price to the service and I happily received my car back a few hours later good as new. I highly reccomend anyone then to anyone in need of fairly priced auto repairs.

I had a great experience with Ellis pro Bodyshop. My van was Rear ended and had to fix the whole backend of my van. Ellis made everything easy and Submit my claim to the insurance company. First off, I must say that the team in the back does great work. My experience with the front office is what makes me resolved to never use this establishment again.My family has used this business four times because they do great work. In fact, when I started going there they didn't even have a front office. You drove to the bay and they helped you there. I've even referred people to the business. This fourth time was my last time due to the owner and the office manager.Here were the issues:1. Day of estimate. I arrived before they opened and waited in my vehicle. The owner pulled up beside me and I gave him a. Few minutes to walk in and get settled before approaching the building. When going to the door, the office manager came out and asked if I was there for an estimate and asked me to wait in the car. No problem. I understand COVID-19 precautions. She enters the building and comes back out, takes pictures of my car, and asks if she can email me the estimate. I told her I'd wait that it was no problem. She says, "Well, I don't know how long you'll be waiting. The owner just stepped out." I thought to myself, 'I literally just saw him walk IN not out.' She walks in the office and five minutes later he comes out and gives me an estimate.2. Day of appointment. I was told that my car would take three days to complete. Made accommodations for that. Was asked to pay for service and parts upfront. I'm a repeat customer, I have NEVER been asked to do that. I explained that to the office manager and she said "It's policy." Ok. I'm paying with a credit card and there is a 3% service charge for running your card. I explain to her that we don't want to be charged a service fee twice. So she explained that it was due to the vendor they use. I ask to speak to the manager and specifically tell her, "I know you are just doing your job." She calls him on the phone, instead of letting me speak to him, and says that I'm there and I don't want to pay for parts upfront. I explained to her, while she was on the phone, that's not what I was saying - that I was only referring to the two service charges. She never corrected herself or explained to him what I was actually saying. Because I like their work, I went ahead and paid for the service and parts upfront. Upon leaving the building, I see the manager and explain to him that they way she conveyed what I was saying was inaccurate and I wanted to clear that up. His response..two thumbs up. No apology. No explanation. Nothing.3. We left messages for the owner regarding the repair a couple of times during the week. No return phone call. This is not a huge operation. A return phone call is not out of the realm of possibilities.4. Day of pickup. This is day four not day three as I was originally told. Only informed of the extra day on day three (afternoon of day three to be exact). On day three, office manager called to say that car would be ready at 5:30 PM the following day. Please check the hours of operation, they close at 5:30. We ask if we can pick it up at 4 PM. Office manager says she will see and give us a call back. No return call that day or the next. We finally call them at 3 PM. No answer. No return call. Since we hadn't heard otherwise, we assume it will be ready at 4 but wait until 4:30 PM just to be safe. Car isn't ready. Office manager says that the technician isn't there to finish it. Then accuses my mother of yelling - she just speaks loudly.No apology for the day late service, service fees (that's HIS cost of business - pick another vendor), or no returned calls. Totally unprofessional. The owner has become aloof and irresponsible and the office manager is a nightmare to deal with.There are other body shops in the area.
