They are supposed to be open from 9am-5pm on Saturday. We showed up today (a Saturday) and they were closed. Even the sign posted clearly outside says these hours.

This emissions center is conveniently located and easy to find. I was a little worried about going here after reading the reviews, but the older man doing the testing was extremely sweet and easy to work with. As it was my first time doing emissions, since it's the first year it is required on my vehicle, I was a bit nervous. I was in and out in no time, and waited to the side until he was finished.It is CASH ONLY...$13.99, you really can't beat that price and my service was great. Lunch break is from 1-2pm, so plan around that. I will continue to come to this location.

Changing my review from one star to four. They have a sign posted for lunch break from 1 to 2 o clock. So as long as you get a bit lucky when it s not during lunch break or an unscheduled break, can t beat $14. Best to come early in the morning when they open around 10 o clock.They are closed whenever they feel like closing. I arrived at 3:45pm and the attendant was just sitting in his car chilling.

He was fast courteous polite did his job, he was very professional. Once the admission place open everything else went smoothly. The signage should state accurate times of open and closing it said 9:00am to 6:00 p.m. but he did not get there till about 6:10 between 10:00 and 10 after 10:00 was his arrival time other than that all else went well

Mr Williams is the kindest most caring and polite attendant they have had there in years, many years! I have been going here for many yrs, and Always Dreaded going because I knew the attendant was going to be Nasty, Rude and in a hurry! This last time I went around the first week in October 2022, was A BLESSING! Mr. Williams should get the AWARD OF THE YEAR! For being the kindest and most Caring person! He deserves to make a good paycheck in order to keep him there and to show him how well he is doing, if he is doing a good job! Thank you Mr. Williams for a wonderful visit!!

I am so disappointed because I went this afternoon at 12:54 and the closed sign was already on even though the lunch break isn t until 1 and reopens at 2. I went up and asked politely, hi, will you be open again at 2, and he raised his voice and said sometime after 2. And I asked again and said ok so you ll be open again at 2 and he said I said sometime after 2. I ve never felt with this guy before but I am so disappointed and am not going back. I came to the one on the corner of hill crest and Indian trail and it s $16.99 with credit card or 14.99 cash. I am so happy I came to this other place because they are kind and professional. Sorry scenic, you lost my business and recommendation.

First of all, my husband went here because it was close to the house. He was quickly shooed away because his car is too low to the ground. The employee that was working was rude and just quickly dismissed him like he was a little kid.Secondly, they updated their hours saying they were opened today, i went there and they were closed!!!

If could put 0 stars I would! I ve been coming here since I started driving but now I don t even want come after today! The guy literally wants you to hit the wall just because he doesn t want close his door. He s very rude and disrespectful! Starts yelling just because he can t see. All my family stopped coming here for the same reasons! As you see other reviews about the guy he s also rude to them

Is this a joke? Idk the guy s name. He s a Caucasian, middle aged guy and has like red hair, very long beard. What an crude, miserable employee!?! Screaming and yelling while directing me to drive towards the brick wall. My response was Hey that s ok, I m leaving. Good, GTFOH. The company knows about the complaints, but they don't care. I won't go back to any of their locations.

Service guy (Dave Kemph) was pleasant when I came to retest my emissions. I had failed the day before due to a battery replacement, and he said it would normally take a couple of days to reset. I had driven about 70 miles since the failed test. He did the retest anyway, and I passed.Price was good too.

Visited on a Sunday. The guy was on his cell phone when I arrived and that's fine in my book. Calls need to happen. I pulled up and wanted to ask a question before he serviced my car. When i said i have a question when you get a chance he rolled his eyes and moved the cell a little bit from his ear. He truly seemed very inconvenienced to have a customer. I told him I'll take my business elsewhere. Sad, because they seem to be the cheapest. Would highly NOT recommend.

FIRE DAVID L KEMPH immediately!!!! David is really a rude person. He was very unprofessional on my case. He put my odometer reading wrong in the report. And when i told him that he put the number wrong, he flipped on me and started yelling. He told me very rudely that he won t jump the line BECAUSE OF HIS SILLY MISTAKE and want me to get back in the line again! He told me that how state runs and if you have any problem call the state don t talk to me. He was yelling for the whole time. This guy has an anger issue. I would FIRE him immediately!! All because he had to redo the emission with the right information of the truck! Eventually he did do it. but was so annoyed even of my existence over there. If anyone knows the owners information please share it with us. He told me that he was told not to share the management information. THUS GUY NEEDS TO BE FIRED IMMEDIATELY !!!!!!

Went here a week or so ago to get emissions. The guy made us go all the way to one side, almost hitting a breaker box just so he could have more room to get himself on the ground. He seemed very irritated that we were there to get the emissions and interrupted his show or whatever. He did the emissions and then started yelling from the back of the car the price with no context and I held out my card to pay. He got more irritated that I was using a card and not cash because he can t get the tips he s advertising are appreciated. I ll go somewhere else now. He also was not wearing a mask like he s supposed to.

Waited for 15 minutes only to be told to back up because he was closing. Attendant is never there on time and always leaves for hours in the middle of the day. Has tried at early morning, mid-afternoon and dusk and it is always is a guessing game if he is there. Go half a mile up the road to the emissions next to dollar general and get WAY BETTER service. This place needs to shut down!!!!

Very small place, a little hard to steer my car in and out.Great service, didn't have to wait at all. The guy who did my inspection was clear and precise. He let us stay in the car, which is much appreciated in these cold days.

Where do I begin....so we waited in line to get our emissions retested. When it was our turn my dad got out to explain the situation. Btw my dad is not fluent in English and this will be relevant to the story. I was in the car but the windows were rolled down and I was able to hear everything outside. David, the worker, mumbled to my dad that we came back to "bug him." He then went to the gas cap, the reason for the retest, and just told us to go to the different location because he can't do it. He said that really fast and just went to his office. We were so lost and went to ask him what was going on. He reportedly just told us that he does not want to do it without telling us the reason and told us to go to another branch down the street. To be exact he said, " I don't want to do it, so close the door. I am gonna call the police if you don't get out of my premises." After spending 30 mins waiting and receiving nothing but disrespect, we went down the street to a different branch. When we got there, and we carefully mentioned waht happened. The worker immediately knew who we were referring to and told us that she receives complaints of him on a daily basis. All in all, what I'm trying to say is that I hope no one experiences what I've experienced today. Although, the second worker was very helpful and nice, I do not plan on returing to this business unless there is something done about this. I hope this comment can help better the company.

When I pulled up he was on his cell phone. He seemed annoyed that I was there was very rude when I gave them mileage basically considered me an ignorant person. The guys license to operate the mission station was expired. Makes me wonder why he still working there. He did not like his job over the people he had to deal with. He really doesn t deserve any ratings.

FIRE David immediately!!!! David is really rude person. In front of me there was a lady he was so rude to that lady that she didn't even got her emission done there and left. IDK what is his deal with getting peoples car almost hitting that box on the wall. He was very unprofessional on my case. He put my truck configuration wrong, didn't even bother to ask me. And when i told him that this is not the right engine size he flipped on me and started yelling. I was selling the truck so i need to show it passed the emission and i was sure people wouldn't like to buy something that shows different configurations when im selling it as a better one. He lied to me for a while telling me that the computer automatically did it, while anyone who has seen the process knows he was lying. He was yelling for the whole time. That dude has an anger issue. The long hair guy here is not quite right. The door fell off his hut as he came out and I actually helped him out the door back on. He was uncomfortably close when making me crank the truck. All around not good.

Waited 45 minutes on 4/26/19. Pulled up as it was my turn to get my emissions done. The first thing I was told was, "on older vehicles like yours, I can never find the catalytic converter." Ok... so I waited. As he lifted up my hood, a piece of my battery cover fell off. He walked it up to my window and said, "your car is falling apart," as he went to open my locked door. I unlocked it and he threw a dirty part of my car into my clean car... I just got done with a car wash. Next, he looked around a little bit, and told me he couldn't find my catalytic converter and that I had to go somewhere else. Anyway, I went down the street to Stop and Watch Emissions (currently no sign out front) but it is in front of Goodwill and Dollar Tree. This guy finished by the time I was able to even finish this review. Cost was $17.99 and I had no wait. He even showed me where my catalytic converter is and I was able to pay with card, unlike the other place (cash only).

HORRID! I pulled in a line of about five cars. After the first two pull up and I have moved up, this woman comes out looks around the corner and yells to me "I am not taking you" I am like "excuse me?" She said "the car in front of you is the last one" and disappears back around the corner, two other cars behind me now. SO I get out of my car to look for manager, seems this woman ("Amanda" "Andrea" something with an A I was so irritated I forgot, but the owner is JAMES and will hear from me about her total lack of customer respect) I go to her little booth (it is about 11:41 AM on a Saturday) and say "I need to get my emissions done to get my tags, please take me, and I will tell anyone that comes behind me you are not taking more people" but 'ol Amanda is adament "I want my break, my stomach hurts, and I want to eat and go to the bathroom" SO I say HOW LONG DOES THIS TAKE? She said "5 minutes" so I say, I am working the rest of the time and I need this done today, to which she replies "there is another emissions place right across the street, go there!" ($10 more to "go there") I said "so you won't help me" she says "Help you? I did, I told you to go across the street!" OMG!!! "Customer Service" at its WORST. SO I asked the owner's name "James" and told everyone behind me she refused to do anyone else, not because they were closing mind you, to go EAT and GO ON HER BREAK!!! I understand everyone needs their break, but the RUDENESS and UNCARING ATTITUDE she had was beyond reprehensible. So, while I have nothing against "Scenic Emissions" and I cannot rate their quality of work, as she refused to wait on me, I CAN comment on their Staff. THAT ONE. Amanda, Andrea whatever with an A. AND I will tell everyone I know SAVE your money and go ANYWHERE else but there. Surely JAMES would not approve of his hired help turning customer so far against his business as to write a review, like this, AND post all over Social Media the quality of their "Staff". Shameful.

Been coming here for years cause it's cheap, sign says lunch break from 1 to 2 but really they must take like a 2 or 3 hour lunch, in fact you never know if someone is going to there, it's just not worth it.

Inexpensive emissions inspection. Can be busy and staff have short tempers at times. We took four cars there in a week. Didn't let frazzled employee bother me. Rolled eyes and saved $6 per car. Would go back next year.
