Took my chevy Camaro for an inspection here and was told I need of cause a transmission and clutch but was fleeced for $2200. Did an unacceptable installation job, vehicle won t go into gear after installation and he refused to fix the issue claiming it was the an aftermarket clutch. A clutch he saw and knew it was aftermarket before installing. Don t ever take your vehicle here, it s a lions den. He s a thief. Once stole a transmission from a customer s car and fraudulently sold to someone else. The case is still in court. Run from here !!!

Excellent services my V8 SUV that I depend on to TOW with had fluids leaking and I went to Mr. Transmission to help locate the problem and it was repaired with an affordable great price for everything I highly recommended for your vehicle services to be repaired inspection fluid leaks transmission pan inspection etc now I am happily back on the road traveling thank you again for your services -Greatly Appreciate it

I have to say this place was a blessing for me and my son to get the transmission on his Honda Accord fixed. From my initial call to get a quote, to dropping in the car off, to picking in the car up I feel very comfortable with my decision. The car was finished early and drives beautiful. Please don t go to this Mr. Transmission location. I came there to get my transmission fluid changed with a brand new filter and gasket. This should to one hour. 20 minutes later, my car was done I asked did you replace everything he said yes. But they did not change the transmission gaskets and filter. Because he said, He didn t have a lift to raise my corvette in the air to change my filter,but he was going to charge me the full price of $250. Please don t waste your money and time. Wowww awesome place very knowledgeable & great customer service I came into Mr. Transmission already with a diagnostic test/results on my son's Q50 infinity we spoke briefly about how common the issue was i had my warranty info & company on the phone he was patient with me even test drove the car himself took it in & within 10days the car was finished warranty adjuster paid all I had to do was sign seal & deliver my deductible easy like Sunday morning, car back on the road with warranty backing the work.Update: Not so GoodI Literally wrote this 4months agoAbout the work done to my son's car he had a leak in the 1st week took it back for a 14day scheduled inspection as required on all guaranteed transmission replacements done here. Here it is July 20,2023 I had my son take his car back bcuz it was running funny with a small leak we wasn't looking for free service & was told the last person to touch his transmission used silicone on the pan & also 1 gallon on fluid not realizing that they where the shop he was talking about. I hate dishonest people when it comes to business

the service and repair went great. it took them 3 days to fix my transmission for a third of what the dealership wanted. However this place customer service wise is beyond teeth pulling. when i dropped my car off, i didn t get an eta on how long it would take or how much it costs. the front desk guy just kept saying we re gonna fix it and that was it. when i went to pick it up (i had to call multiple times for a status update), they told me to go to the loan place if i couldn t pay it in full. i went there, they told me that Mr. Transmission does the paperwork and wasn t sure why they sent me there in the first place (other than the just didn t wanna do the paperwork himself) so i had to drive BACK to the shop just to have to wait another hour on the loan. the customer service is sketchy, however i m giving 3 stars bc they were fast and cheap.Service: Transmission

I went to this shop last min and was welcomed by Derrick and Martine. They got me in and out in a timely manner. Their customer service is definitely above any shop I ve worked with on my car. After having my wife's vehicle towed to Mr. Transmissions shop on Lville hwy in Lilburn for a Diagnostic. 2 business days later he calls my wife and tells her that the vehicle was ready and the repairs were done. There was never a conversation about what the problems was or the results of the diagnostic or our options were to repair it. In Mr. Derrick words "I glossed over that part" now when I spoke to Mr. Derrick I wanted to settle my ticket at what I considers to be a fair price of $500 with a payment plan of $25 a month which he told responded to as ridiculous, I eventually work my offer up to $1900 on a bill of $2263 plus storage fees that he added on of $375 and he still wouldn't agree to settle this bill for unauthorized work done to my vehicle that was only suppose to be diagnosed. Not to mention the fact that he came to my house and sent me a certified letter threatening to put a lien on my vehicle. After he rejected my offer he told me he'd contact me tomorrow, that he needed to think about it. After taking a closer look into this and speaking with Mr. Transmission Corprate customer service, we find out that there policy is that "no work will be done without customer apporval". We're left with no choice but to escalate this to the next legal level. See ya in court Sir! Also his words " We're not worried about social media"Service: Transmission

After going to 3 other shops to get my clutch repaired I called them and they completed the work in 24 hours and saved me hundreds of dollars.Very courteous and up front fair pricing. Really happy with the turn out of there services. Right to the point and very honest on what need to be done. Not only was Derek right to the point,but also explain everything step by step for you to understand. Derek told me the work will take up to 2-3 days, but got the car back the next day. Man this was my best transmissions experience by far. I took my f350 "bucket truck" which not to many people can work on seems like, and these guys had it in awesome condition in about 3 days..good business. Not to mention my engine had starting problem so it sat for a day or to and he helped me with getting the engine crunk..come on now!Service: Transmission

First the manager is understanding and patient!He's took his time to hear me the first day i been with my car cuz it was a transmission problem!But,my warranty paid for and my car been in his shop for a while!He helped me to contact them and when they approved ,he told me once he will get the transmission he gonna remplace and he did and he called me back that my car was ready to pick it up!I I RECOMMEND ANYONE WHO CAN HAVE TRANSMISSION PROBLEM CUZ IT'S A PLACE TO BE AND HIS EMPLOYEES ARE FRIENDLY !MY CAR IS RUNNING VERY WELL NOW AND CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK AGAIN ONCE I'LL GET A PROBLEM WITH MY CAR AGAIN!

Derrick is a scam artist! Do not do business with him or you'll be sorry.Do I need to be a customer to know you have poor business practices and a scam artist ? And preform repairs without discussing the customers options 1st? Not only are you dishonest, you're rude and in your own words "you glossed over" the part where you were suppose to discuss our options. And still expected us to pay for something we didn't agree to! What a joke! We will have our day in court and let the judge decide who's at fault, the customer or the business owner who admitted to 'Glossing over" our repair options. He's also a Liar!

I have gone up to Mr. Transmission in Lilburn three times now. Each time, Derrick has gone above and beyond to help me at no additional charge. One of the times I went up there, it was 3 minutes until closing and they took the time to drive my car, sit and listen to the issue, and explain what is wrong. I will be scheduling to have the work done in the near future. If you like a mechanic with great customer service, this is your place!

I wrote a bad review about this place and now I must correct it. I took my truck to this place to have my transmission fixed. When I got it back it started smoking. so I checked it out and saw a puddle under my truck I immediately blamed them. After getting the truck checked it was oil leaking due to a bad rear main seal. Well needless to say I had to take it back to mr transmission because in order to fix the problem the transmission needed to be dropped.to make I long story short. I had to eat humble pie and ask Derrick would he fix it and he replied yes. I got my truck back and I have no problems with it anymore. Thank you Mr. Derrick I truly apologize for making a bad review when the shop deserve a great review. Yes I would use them again and yes I would refer them to my friends

Very professional and accommodating. . Most places average keeping your car 1 to 2 weeks. I had my car back in 2 days for a major transmission job. Thank you very much. My vehicle is running fine!

Ruined my transmission with a faulty part and would not give me a refund. I ended up getting it fixed properly a year later. Also, the Mr. Transmission company will not honor any refund. So, good luck getting it out of Derek.They also messed up my friend's wife's car, that's why I'm posting this review.

Doesn't complete agreed upon work. Dishonest. They will gaslight you to make you believe you are in the wrong.Edit: Responding to owner. You had every chance to look at the car and tell me you could not do the o2 sensor. I initially declined to have you do the job at all due to price, but once you told me you could include the o2 sensor I said okay. You then replaced two out of three parts and told me it was done.I asked you why you did not call me before making that decision and you stated you had called an hour previously. When checking my call logs I saw that you had called 20 minutes prior. When I asked you to verify this you said that you had deleted the previous day's call logs.You are dishonest at best, and a fraud at worse.Is this detailed enough for you?

I recently took my Lexus SC 430 here to have my car diagnosed as I received a VSC code relating to the transmission. I initially took it to Aamco who nitially told me I needed to replace my transmission! I didn't stop there and wanted a second opinion. There was one other location that told me they couldn't work on my car because it was an "electrical" problem. I eventually was led to this shop by word of mouth and I'm glad I was. Scott confirmed it was a shift solenoid valve that could be replaced.. He went a step further and replaced the entire valve body which was far more safe for the car. His price was fair and the cars rides great! No VSC service lights returned. Thank you for your honesty and expertise Scott! You saved me much $$$.SW

The Team at Mr. Transmission Lilburn rebuilt the transmission in my 2010 Chevy Tahoe. Work was completed alot quicker than I expected. However the costs of the repairs was higher than expected. I was able to finance part of the work thru EZPay. So, all worked out really good. Great Joe Guys. I will definitely use you again.

I am a limo driver not only do I use my vehicle for work it is my main transportation I ran into a problem today with my transmission had to have it towed . Store manager Derek Weaver quickly diagnose my problem and had me back on the road before closing time for something that I thought was Major ended up being a quick fix and saved me money and I was able to get back on the road without losing any downtime transmission specialist Martine is the best thanks again.
