Went to get my oil changed here after having a bad repair experience at my usual place. Both the guys at Rick s were friendly and honest, brought me back to show me a leak on my car and explained exactly what it meant and how I could keep check on it without coming in to a shop. They even recommended me a trusted mechanic to take it to to get fixed and were honest that they were unequipt to handle it there. I appreciated their honesty, transparency, and handiness, exactly the reason I was looking to switch shops. I feel prepared to look after the issue myself and know an estimate for cost if I were gonna get the leak fixed. Cheaper to pay in cash but do take card. I will be back again! (:

Fair prices and honest people. I just moved to the area and found this place online. I needed 7 new lugnuts because mine were damaged. They got them from Athens while I was waiting and replaced them. Rick and techs took me back into the shop to show me what the issues were. I will definitely be bringing my vehicle here for all future service and repairs.

I've been to Rick's twice for truck repairs. GMC Sierra 1500 2005. I give everyone the benefit of the doubt. Any one can have a bad experience at any time at any repair facility.My experience on both visits was a suspicious experience.1. Had the rear brakes done and the brakes work great. However, the truck was smoking badly after the job and they tried to tell me I have a serious issue.I knew that was an attempt to generate more service repairs.Although my truck has 230,000 miles, it has been properly maintained with ALL oil changes and maintenance done properly by service centers and myself. Never uses oil.The truck goes from oil change to oil change without the need for oil.2. Aug. 19th. This most recent visit was an experience similar to the first visit. After being repaired, ( differential fluid and seal replacement). Rear end works great.Driving home the steering wheel started wobbling so bad that I had to slow down and the wheel just vibrated and shook excessively.I put the truck up on a ramp to inspect what it could be. After looking and looking at the steering and support work, I discovered a freshly torn boot on the lower control arm assembly.I called and stated I had a problem driving home."We didn't work on the front.""Bring it back and we will look at it."Sorry Rick, but the excessive wait ( 4 hours)and the little wink as I was checking out is all I need to know.

Rick's helped get me out of a pickle when my car stalled after a grocery run. The owner went above and beyond by helping assess the situation and get a new battery run over from the auto part store. They installed on the spot and saved me a big hassle and saved my groceries as well by getting me back on the road quickly. I've also been in before for an oil change and was impressed enough to make it my regular spot going forward. Fast, professional service, as well as honest and caring people which is hard to find these days. Much appreciated!

They don t deserve 5 stars.They deserve 10!My old truck was overheating, so I brought it in. My guess was a water pump issue. Hannah greeted me and made me feel right at home while my truck was being worked on. She was personable and delightful to chat with.The mechanic was polite, courteous and extremely knowledgeable. (Apologies. I don t remember his name but he had dreds)He quickly diagnosed the issue as a relatively minor one, and had me out the door in no time.They didn t try to sell me something I didn t need or up charge me. Because they were honest and treated me right at a far price, they now have a loyal customer.All of my vehicles will be taken care of there from now on.In today s world where auto repair places can be a little suspect, Rick s Pit Stop is the exception.Friendly. Honest. Knowledgeable. Professional.

Great service. Was in and out in 30 minutes for oil change. They also checked all fluids, and tires. Reasonablely priced. I can always find a coupon on line to use when I go for an oil change. Friendly and caring staff. Front desk attendant, Hannah, is very professional and nice to speak with. Great service once again. Thanks Rick's Pit Stop!

This is a very professional atmosphere. The employees are knowledgeable,friendly,and seem to be good people.Whilewaiting on the oil change, two customers needed special oil and parts. Ten minutes after the phone call was made the oil and parts arrived.This is my third visit for oil changes and I will continue to come back. Please help support local businesses in Oglethorpe County.

Very honest mechanic. Cody. He let me know my vehicle ended up not needing all the stuff we originally thought. He saved me a ton of money. Great people and better prices then anywhere else.
