Great customer service! I ve been to many mechanics shops and I felt very comfortable and confident here that my car was in good hands. Stuff is very kind and compassionate and didn t make me feel dumb because I m a woman, unlike some places that just assume you don t know anything. I highly recommend this location!

I had a great experience at the Pike Street location in Lawrenceville. As a consumer, I always do my due diligence and ask questions. I was extremely pleased with my experience and the manger, Steve, and his staff were very clear about the repairs my car needed. While it wasn t in my budget to have all the work done, I was very pleased with the quality of the repairs and the cost for what I did have done. They did what they promised and were honest with me and that means they will get my business in the future.

They let my car sit for a week without updating me on the key fact that they didn't have the resource needed to diagnose my 2018 gmc acadia. The first Pep boys ( sugarloaf Pkwy Lawrenceville)said send it to another location our machine is broken no apology for inconvenience. I drove it to Pike Street location Lawrenceville they looked for a week and called every other day until a week past and they finally said you should take it to gmc.

Terrible shop!1. I bought 4 Cooper tires with Hazard Warranty a year ago.. now I have a screw in one of them. 5 hours later, after leaving the car with them, Pep Boys told me I needed to buy a new tire... Hazard Warranty subject to pro-rated adjustment (current tire wear was measured on a scale of 7 out of 9, which is 12k miles out of 65k manufacturer warranty). The discount is only $60, and I still would need to pay $188 for a new tire! I never had to pay more than $20 at Discount Tire even if they had to replace it with Hazard Warranty. Pep Boys Warranty is a scam.2. I scheduled an appointment for tire rotation twice, and both times they told me I would have to leave my car there for a day. The place has only 2 people working there and you always have to leave your car there... so I did rotation myself in my garage instead.3. They don't do speed balancing, I had to re-balance tires at Discount tire because I had bad vibrations on the highway.4. After the alignment service, the steering wheel is crooked.I will never go to PeopBoys ever again.

My dad is currently in the hospital (atleast an hour from my home).Something tore the cover beneath my car which led to it dragging the ground. I contacted this Pep Boys to see if there was anything they could do. They told me to come over so they could look at it. Not even 20 minutes and they had it fixed, handed me my keys, and told me to have a great day. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Great experience and I will be back. I was a nervous wreck worrying about needing new breaks so soon after my last break job and I went to Pep Boys who noticed the breaks was not installed properly and corrected the issue for me and sent me on my way.

Pep boys just needs to go out of business already I m sorry but I m not! Took my truck up there to get it service and told them all that what was wrong with the truck due to the warranty repairs. The manager name is Steve I had to call him too many times. He doesn t keep you posted with your vehicle and doesn t keep the site updated. I had to call him for him to tell me my truck is done. So when I got to the shop to pick up my truck a day later which I was in disbelief that is was done already. He never said what was wrong with it what was fixed or nothing. I got into the truck felt all the same problems had before telling him my problems with my truck. So I called the dealership and they said they don t see anything in the system where he made a call so I knew my truck was never touched maybe only to put air into the tire but he did none of the major repairs at all and never said anything. This shop is very bad at communication which is horrible for business. I will never take any of my vehicle to Pepboys ever again a day In my life. Had other friends and family and mechanics telling me Pepboys is the worst mechanic shop ever they should have stuck to just installing tires. Which they still not good at neither. All I m saying stay far away from Pepboys all around. Soon Pepboys will be out of business and Steve you will have to find another job cause managing or being a mechanic isn t for you. With a massive passion had a very bad horrible experience with Pepboys at this location. After this I will never choose Pepboys to do anything to my vehicles !

This place was always used by my family. However, never again. Manager Steve and employee John find that it is acceptable to take advantage of women. My niece had her car dropped off to have it looked at because a light was on. It was a thermostat issue. She called my husband to tell him the price she was quoted, but NEVER said they were approved to do the work. After the quote of $504 was given to my niece to replace the thermostat and replace the antifreeze, we called the Monroe, GA pep boys location to ask for the quote of the same work, just at their shop. We were quoted $290.00 at Monroe Pep Boys. A $214.00 difference! The Monroe location also honored a military discount to make it $260, so now a $244.00 difference that Pike Steet Pep Boys would not honor. When told we were coming to get the car, they said they had already taken it apart to start on it when that was NOT approved. When she returned to take it, Manager Steve dropped the bomb of a diagnostic fee of $110.00 and she could not have her car until that was paid. A diagnostic was never disclosed when dropping off the car, or at any point throughout the multiple calls of them being rude to my niece. After consulting 1800-PEP-BOYS, Pike Street made attempts to call her and when she called back someone would pick up and hang up. This place is not where I would recommend going if you are a female. I also would not recommend going here unless you want to be the person solely responsible for paying manager Steve his bonuses.

I left a dealership feeling like I was being robbed. I drove to the nearest Pep Boys, The Manager Steven listened to me vent, and was honest enough to tell me my Jeep only needed a new battery. Mace the Mechanic tended to my vehicle like I was the only customer. Store #0386 I really trust your service. Thank you

First off all, they did a lousy job of a simple oil change. (Left the drain plug loose and kept leaking) and the oil level was too low too quick.When I went there today to check the attitude the franchise owner and the shop guy (John) showed was adding fuel to the fire...NEVER GO TO PEPBOYS AGAIN FOR ANYTHING(AND ESP. THIS LOCARUON)

Although I had an appointment, it took 25 minutes to check-in and another 20 minutes before my car was pulled into the work bay. 30 minutes after that I was informed by the service advisor that the battery for my car didn't fit for some unexplained reason and that another more expensive battery would have to be brought from the warehouse, which would take about an hour. Fortunately, it only took about 30 minutes to arrive and my car was ready shortly thereafter.

I called this location Friday evening around 6pm and asked if they had my tire size and brand. Tech on the phone told me they did and I said okay I will be in. Drove there on a tire with a screw In it. When I arrived the tech was at the front desk talking with a coworker for about 10 mins. When he was done he told me they wouldn t be able to service me today and wanted me to leave my car there overnight. I told him that s not what we discussed on the phone and he could have told me that on the phone I would have drove somewhere else and now he s left me with no time to get to another tire shop before 7. Highly disappointed in the customer service

I love all the fellas there, but my go to is Steve (when he is t around his co workers make sure that I am taken care of) The energy and flow of the employees is truly impeccable. I alsoWitness other customers receiving the same respect, kindness and listening ear that i experience with this Lawerenceville team.I will always choose pepboys Lawerenceville. I ve had horrible encounters with other locations!!!

Made an appointment prior to coming in. One hour into my appointment. I asked how much longer? I was it would be a very long wait. When I walked in 4 service techs were sitting behind their desk. No one wanted to help me.

Made an appointment online for 2 tires and got here and was told I needed 4. Of course I m in denial and trying to get out cheap asking if the other 2 can wait a week and got a very honest answer, so we re going with 4.The problem was there were only 2 tires at this shop, so instead of trying to upsell, they get on the phone with the location right down the road to double check stock and once confirmed, my tires were chauffeured here. Integrity beats everything! I appreciate you guys so much!

Customer service and experience was terrible. I had an oil change scheduled through my fleet account for 9am which was the earliest available. I arrived about 10 mins early yet was told it would be a 2 hour wait. Desk staff were very dry and then told me they couldn t find my oil type for a 2020 Chevrolet Equinox in the system . I contacted customer service for the fleet account because I was confused how I could see the oil type on the appointment yet they couldn t. The fleet service agreed that they could see it as well. They contacted the store with me on the line and they were even rude to them. No one can clearly explain the issue but I ve only had this issue at this location TWICE, yet they say they ve never heard of it. I went to another location and they were able to find it no problem. Won t ever come back. I d rather drive an additional hour for decent service than to be treated like trash.

Mecanics Great service writer Chris Great there's and older Gentleman Lynn reality he came out one time at 445 pm I arrived at 945 am and waited for an alignment till 435 pm it was the second time they didn't charge me but one time 69.95 shop price and as chaplain and board of the council chambers and associated pastor of the the first church since 1898 Lawrenceville I believe I deserve a little explanation put they came outside and said your all done. There's another gentleman with tattoos a marine soldier well These white collar shirt boys could be a little faster but the fact that Lynn needs the retirement God help them pep boys will never be undersold nor bankruptcy but when your a people person customers come but they don't care they have vanguard USA contract from Enterprise which I worked for ten years. The contract should be revised all the way from vanguard tsa which is the from top I can advise them since it's a town board member owned and operated pepboys is too slow but the fact that Enterprise is 1.2 billion strong they pay those guys to sit around I'm retired so all I can do is powerly pray that's fact and strong

Oil change service: Gavin and Joseph went above and beyond diagnosing and filling me in on some underlying issues with my truck. I highly recommend these mechanics, I will be back solely because of them!
