I needed an engine put in plus some body work done from someone running into the back of me. Dropped my Jeep off Thursday and had it back next Thursday. Wow. This is not your regular Jeep Grand Cherokee, it's an Overland. They found me an engine with low low mileage ( a Hemi engine) and it runs like a beast. Now the body work and the blending of the paint is amazing. This shop did a great job. Thank you, Peaton Auto & Collision, for the one-stop and shop spot.

Terrible. Probably the worst and longest experience I ve ever dealt with in an auto and body shop. I paid these guys in full and still didn t get my car fully repaired. Terrible service. I brought my challenger in last summer from a wreck, they replace the bumper and back bumper but left everything under untouched. My back rear light was not damaged until I brought it to these guys. I m still missing a grill that they say is backordered. The owner even suggested I pay for one and bring it so they can put it on. Mind you I gave them the insurance check and paid the remaining balance like a dummy. Please do not waste your time at this shop.

George and his staff are amazing!!!! I will NEVER go to another repair shop. Even though theyre not listed repair pal, they do work with warranty companies. They worked with me when another company tried to overcharge. I love this shop!!!!

I had my truck painted and minor body work done here. George and his team were professional and knowledgeable. I had the color changed from silver to white and you could never tell it was changed. Very dishonest! My BMW X5 was stolen by George at Peayton Auto!I had just purchased the vehicle and it overheated. Called up Peayton auto and was told to drop it off they would take a look and give me an estimate.I was given the runaround for months with excuses by the owner George. I was told that they were ordering a part and it would take a while due to Covid supply chain. Then he told me that his child is sick so I didn t have time yet . Over the months he told me several other excuses and lies Eventually he blocked my calls. Finally I showed up with a tow truck and the police to pick up MY PROPERTY.They informed the police that they had sold my BMW. They may have sold it for parts or sold it to someone else but it wasn t theirs to sell. George even lied to the police and said that I had abandoned my vehicle. After I had called regularly inquiring about the vehicle getting fixed and he told me all kinds of excuses. This man is a bold faced liar and a thief. PLEASE BEWARE! Never trust this person!!!! He doesn t even deserve one star. Very unprofessional to sell someone else s property.

These guys do terrible work! I took my car in for hood/front bumper repair, they charged me for parts they didn t replace. The price doubled from the quote and on top of all that the owner George does not know how to talk to people. He talks down and basically yells at females He left rude and unprofessional messages on my voicemail. they didn t put my windshield washer fluid pump back in and refused to make it right! They do shoty work! Don t use them especially if you are a woman!Service: Body & Trim

Conclusion of experience: DO NOT USE IF YOU HAVE TO WORK WITH At Fault drivers INSURANCE CLAIM and here is why:There are a few jobs that the auto shop has in order to help you as their client get your car fixed.Supplemental material listCommunicating with insuranceCommunicating with client (meI sent several emails and made a few calls to Payton's since my insurance said they had not received certain things from them. I was respectful and communicative, and the only pressure put on them was the normal pressure of DOING THEIR JOB.The owner got angry and told me to:"Respectfully Take your car somewhere else" it was incredibly confusing and degrading. In hindsight... he probably just was lazy and embarrassed he didn't know how to handle it, and that's a generous assumption based on the attitude and unprofessionalism I received.JUST GO TO MUNDYS. It was a night and day experience with organization, timeliness, and knowledge on working with insurance and skill. You shouldn't have to coach a reputable auto mechanic business on how to help you help them get paidGlobal Tires+ ....please stop recommending them....worse referral.

The owner is honest and his technicians are talented and well trained. I have had only the best experience with their mechanical repairs as well as their body work recommended Peayton s to all of my friends and they concur!

I was referred to Peayton Auto by Ben's Auto Detailing (another great local business).My wife's Yukon needed the hood and roof repainted; George explained the process, answered my questions and provided an estimate. His manner - along with the professional and personable manner of a couple of other employees I dealt with - convinced us to take the Yukon there.And we're VERY glad we did. The work was completed almost a month ago and was obviously done right; the Yukon looks fantastic. Beyond the results, the level of customer service from everyone I had contact with was exemplary.There was a minor (weather-related) snag during the course of work, which I was apprised of on a prompt basis; that level of service and communication is increasingly rare. (Particularly on what I suspect was a "smaller" job for this business.)Based on my experience, I highly recommend these folks; they did an all-around wonderful job. George is amazing! I highly recommend this place. From the first phone conversation I knew that this was the place to fix my car. We were out of town and didn t know anyone. He immediately made us feel right at home. He even introduced us to is beautiful family. His employees were respectful and most importantly respected him. The work was fast and done right. The price was accurate. George is a man of integrity and it shows. He stands behind his work. The building is very clean even the bathrooms were well maintained.

Dealership wanted to charge me HUNDREDS of dollars to fix my vehicle. George fixed it for a fraction of the cost. I could not be any happier with my experience there. The staff was friendly, the work they performed was excellent and the price was right. Peayton Auto has earned a new life long customer. George treated me like family through the entire process and was very kind. Thank you again Peayton Auto for outstanding customer service!

Excellent service by George and his team. I was referred to PAC by a friend of mine. I dropped my car off for an alternator change and within a week I sent all 3 of my cars there for service! They have a nice family vibe and are very respectful when dealing with the customers I saw come through.

Payton Auto has always provide excellent service at a very reasonable price. I appreciate them taking the time to explain any services needed on my car as well as telling me what services I need to take care of in the future. I would highly recommend this shop to all women that worry about repair shops ripping them off, over charging and suggesting services that are not necessary. #Happy Customer

Good job!! I cannot recommend Goerge and his staff highly enough! Over the last few years, I have been treated like family and have been provided the best quality service anyone can imagine. It is amazing these days to fine such a wonderful facility. Good people and did a great job. I bought Groupon for alignment. My car has 237K mi. I came just for that. It's been done without questions. They just notified me about the issues my car has. No up sell, no hassle, no pressure. Thanks a lot.

Whenever someone mentions needing a mechanic, I send them to George. A friend referred him to me, and I haven t gone anywhere since - whether it s for routine maintenance or body work. I don t work/live near Lawrenceville anymore, but he and the other guys at Peayton are worth the drive. Not only does he know his stuff, but he s always treated me fairly and will go out of his way to find options for fixing my car correctly and economically. Great person and a great mechanic!

I visited Peyton Auto several times for my Mercedes over the last six months. They are phenomenal. You deal directly with the owner who is knowledgeable and an overall good guy. They take no short cuts and get the job done correctly! They are priced fair and deliever exceptional service. I recommend you visit them if you need a good honest shop in Lawrenceville or Duluth!! You cant go wrong. Thank me later

I visited Peayton Auto & Collision on Feb. 24, 2021 to enquire about Engine & Transmission repairs for two BMWs that I own; I met with a gentleman named George; not only was he very professional and courteous, he sounded well-versed in Foreign automobiles. He explained to me in clear terms what I should expect and I feel very comfortable bringing my vehicles to his place. Very nice establishment, clean and welcoming! I give this place an A+! I was referred by a neighbor and I'm grateful because after numerous attempts with other mechanics, Peayton auto was able to figure out a way to fix our truck. Everyone is friendly and honest. I'd definitely recommend them.

Best mechanic in Lawrenceville. Came here from a recommendation from a friend. George is honest, patient and genuinely here to help. They have gone above and beyond and did a couple of minor things as a favour, on the house - very much appreciated. It s handy to have an auto body shop near me also as they do mechanic and panel work

I bought a used Tundra mid December only to blow the engine the 1st week of January. Totally my fault ss I thought it was so cold the gauges were not working properly. My dealer helped me cut the cost of replacing the engine by $2k referring me to the shop they use - Peaytons Automotive & Collision. The first engine was installed only to have the cylinder #6 bad. Not only did they tell me exactly what was wrong and that they had already ordered a 2nd replacement engine but not once did they suggest or hint at additional labor charges. Often times additional labor charges get tacked onto the bill in situations like this. NOT with Peaytons. Additionally a week after I got the truck back, the exhaust valves and catalytic converter needed replacement, also due to my blowing the engine. I was only charged for labor on the exhaust valves. Every one in the shop was more than courteous and professional. Peaytons is a family business with 2 of the owners sons working there. All have exceptional integrity and do the highest quality work. Every job is treated like this no matter how large or small. I am so happy I found a great mechanics shop even if I had to blow an engine to do so. I highly recommend using them for all your automotive needs!!! Exceptional service from exceptional people!

Great people with integrity and very reasonably priced. I am so glad I found them after living in COBB county for many years then moving to Lawrenceville, they were just what I needed to keep our vehicles up without going broke. They do everything from emissions to mechanical repair to body and paint. One stop shop!

I think they are unprofessional, do not have voicemail set up to leave message. They change my oil to my car and overfill it. Also the cap was tighten that no one could take it off. Knowledge and courteous staff. Reasonable prices and professional service. I took my M5 for a minor mirror repair, but now I'll be taking all my vehicles here 1st before anywhere else.
