Can t recommend this shop enough. My first visit was in 2023, and I was very impressed when the tech brought me back to the bay to show me exactly which parts needed replacing and why.In 2024 I had a stalling issue, which Mike and his crew were unable to pin down despite much testing, but they did some other repairs. The next day the car began refusing to accelerate on my way to work. Mike hated hearing that the car broke down the morning after service was completed. He sent his guys out to my workplace about 20 miles away to check on and pick up the car. This time they found the issue and fixed it the same day. Mike didn t even charge me. They clearly take pride in their work. What a great follow up and stellar service. Thank you!

Mike, the owner, is excellent to work with. He walked me through the process of installing a new engine in my Hummer H2. Casper performed that swap and did an excellent job. Both of the ladies at the front desk are very pleasant and helpful as well. These folks are have gained a life long customer and I won t take my Hummer anywhere else from now on.

The manager, Mike, is an alcoholic who drinks alcohol as soon as he gets to MTD shop, and helps work on car repairs.He was not only drinking when I took my car back to MTD a 2nd time because after paying them $570.00 to fix my oil leak, plus $95 for a diagnostic, and $47 for an oil change, my car was/is still leaking. After the 1st time I took it there for the oil leak repair, when I got it back, it was 'vibrating' uncontrollably. So I took it back shortly after, and mainly Mike worked on trying to find the cause of the vibration, using a $3,000 handheld meter of some sort. Mike did not perform the actual 'oil leak' repair: The older mechanic did that.Mike was not able to stop the vibration, that the car didn't have before I took it to MTD.Fast forward, I took the car back to MTD on Friday, December 1st, because the oil leak returned after several weeks. I generally drive the car very little, because I'm a retired senior citizen, and because of the oil leak!I made the December 1st appointment on the phone with Mike, a week before. Mike chose the day and time of the appointment. I arrived at MTD on Dec. 1, at 11:45 AM, and parked. At 12 noon I went into the waiting room, but Susie the receptionist was not there. Her husband Casper was filling in for her, until Mike and his friend Willis arrived, at 12:10.I told Casper I had a 12:00 appointment because my oil was still leaking. He said I had to wait until Mike got there. I immediately was nearly overwhelmed by a very strong odor of gas or gasoline, and I had a surgical mask on. I asked Casper if MTD had a gas leak, and he mumbled something about it was in the garage or bay area. I asked him to close the door to the mechanics bay, but he was looking at the computer, and didn't do it right away.After Mike arrived, he said hi, went back into his private office, where the door is always closed, and never came back to speak to me about the car. By then, I got a headache from all the gas in the air, in the 'waiting room.' Yeah, 'waiting' to pass out from the gas leak in the building.Long story short, MTD doesn't like customers to wait for their car repairs. They tell customers they have to drop their cars off, but it usually takes 2 or more days to get your car back, no matter how simple the repair.MTD does not guarantee or warranty their repairs or any type of work, so don't listen to Mike, who is a 'smooth talkin' slick alcoholic lying shop manager. I'm not sure if he's the owner. I hope not.

Mike was very insightful and helpful when I came by last week. I had some question about some maintenance, mainly fluid changes and my exhaust rattle. He was honest with me about what he thought about it . I came by yesterday to get my exhaust done. Suzie help me get me in and out asap ! I only wish I could leave a 10 star review. Mike and his team treated my truck, as thought they owned and operated it. My truck issues weren t easily fixed and Ford technicians put band aid fixes on it, the folks here at MTD fixed these problems and have my business for life.

Robby has worked on my cars since I could drive. He takes time to explain, is honest and helpful. In an industry where women are easily over charged or misled - Robby and MTD automotive have always taken care of everything and been fair. I recommend them to everyone. One of the best places that was recommended to me. My wife's car has been in and out of the lexus dealer several times with the check engine on. They fixed it the first time at a much cheaper price! It's a hour drive for me with a little traffic, but it is worth the drive! Thanks Again Gary for the Awesome job!

Mike and Robby & the crew are the best. They know what they are doing and do what they say! I wouldnt hesitate to take my car there anytime i need a repair. You can trust them to do a fine job!

I have been going to MTD Auto for at least 10 years. Mike and Robbie have always looked out for me and my cars. I trust them 100%. They always tell me the priority things I need to take care of and the things I can wait on. It can be intimidating going to a mechanic as a female who doesn t know anything about cars so it s such a weight off my shoulders knowing I have experts I can rely on who give me a fair price.
