My alternator went out on my car on a road trip back to Florida and I am glad it happened at this exit. They installed the new alternator at a good price and in a timely manner. What started off to be a disaster on our road trip to California ended up being turned into a blessing. After we had an engine coolant light pop up on our mercedes sprinter we realized that we needed service immediately. Total Automotive Repair was the closest on our travels and with customer reviews/satisfaction we felt we were in good hands.After giving our sprinter a check they found out our radiator had cracked. Crazy enough the closest radiator for a Sprinter was at the Jacksonville Dealership for Mercedes. They had someone go run for the part while pulling out the old radiator from the front end of our van. In all one days work, they had us up/running and ready to go.Now we're here in California!. Everything has been amazing, we cant be more appreciative of Rick and Cody's work here. Thank you guys from the bottom of out hearts.

To tell you that I was in a bad spot on my way to Tampa is an understatement. My transmission went out on the highway and I made it to this shop and the concern and care exhibited there blew my mind. If I didn t live a few hours away I would definitely use this shop for all of my automotive purposes. These guys went ABOVE AND BEYOND and I couldn t explain how much they value their customers as people! Their knowledge and speedy service speaks mountains of their ability! Rick, the manager, and his crew, are amazing! They are very professional and knowledgeable! Prices are fair! I will be continuing to do business with them so long as they continue to perform at the awesome level they are performing at now! Making our way back home from Orlando, our water pump decided to break when we were getting to Lake Park. The folks at Peterbilt referred us to Total Automotive Repair, only 2 miles away. They confirmed that the pump was beyond repair, promptly got another one to the shop, installed it, and we were on our way in about 2 hours. The people there were very helpful and courteous. Very thankful we were able to get to them for such great service.

Diagnosed a check engine light and the part I needed to do the repair. Provided a clean diagnostic and saved me on the labor cost, pointing out where exactly I could do the repair myself.An honest and reasonably priced mechanic on the Florida-Georgia line, will definitely be back in case I have something I need more help on in the future.

Rick, the manager, (should be the owner) is knowledgeable, friendly and cares about helping people. I had a windshield wiper assembly failure during a rainstorm on I-75. Monday morning, Rick was there to open the shop, by himself. Two other folks needing help showed up and Rick took care of each us in a calm, steady way. If I lived around Lake Park, GA, I'd follow Rick to any shop he was working in. Recommend this shop.

On my way back to Thomasville from Florida with my boat in tow when my wheel bearing went out. I wanted to drop my boat off for repair and pick up later but they dropped what they were doing to get me back on the road. Excellent customer service, nice people. Will do business with them again.

My family was on the way back home from a long trip and we started having a flashing check engine light. We made an emergency stop at Total Automotive Repair and the worker there immediately set to work diagnosing the problem.After a short while he explained what the issue was, and allayed our fears that it was something serious. He then offered to fix the problem for us within a couple of hours despite their business being a little over ten minutes from closing time, and said we would make it home okay if we decided to choose that instead. We went with heading out because we were desperately tired and ready to get home, and he graciously wished us a good day and didn't charge us anything for the diagnostic or his time.If this shop was local to where we lived, we would happily give it our business.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

While traveling to Florida I hit some debris on the highway and disabled my vehicle. The tow company towed us here and Emily and Rick were SO super friendly and helpful and got me back on the road safely and quickly. I highly recommend this shop.

As i was traveling from SW FL to MI, I hit a piece of steel on the hwy. and punctured the gas tank! Jonathan & Emily were very helpful. They got me a tow, found a used fuel tank and had me on my way in a timely fashion at a very fair price!HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Y'all, I've got a Bronco that needs an old priest and a young priest. I towed it to the shop after breaking down and they had me on my way within a couple hours. During that time I was just hanging out in the waiting room, and I watched them treat every person that came in with kindness. If I lived in town, this would be my new mechanic, hands down.

As I was traveling from Florida to Georgia, my car was sounding weird on I-75, I got worried and found the nearest auto body shop. I called and they told me to come in. They quickly diagnosed what was wrong and although they couldn t fix my car, they gave me all the phone numbers of local tow companies and helped me through every single aspect. CANNOT say enough about the employees there! We went for what we thought would be a simple tire change and when we couldn't locate our wheel lock, they went out of their way to call and drive around to find the right sized lock. Awesome staff! Would definitely recommend! I went ask the owner could they wire up a truck said yeah bring it on up we'll get rite on it, well a week later it's in the same spot ,didn't receive a call they couldn't or wouldn't work on it! Mechanic & owner both points fingers at each other! Oh, and they have the right to refuse service to anyone RACISM EXIST HERE
