Service was outstanding today the lady helped me a great deal. I was able to get my address changed on my license. The only thing is the building is getting pretty old it smells musky. I have bad allergies good thing I don't have to work there

I was in there today and had an issue with some of my paperwork. Although it took couple of visits, I m glad it was all resolved and I was able to get DL renewed.Everyone working there was nice and there was not a lot of wait.The supervisor was very helpful.

Most disorganized and disfunctional 3000 sq feet in georgia and I have been to the Wendys at exit 1. WOW.

People were friendly and knowledgeable about the process and my case was special, but the ease with which it was accomplished made this a pleasant five star experience, entering the building it's to your left. Signs are pretty clear and it's handicap accessible.

These people don't tell you everything you need. I went to renew my CDL with hazmat endorsement. Told me I had to go to get my fingerprints done, and then I could come back and get my hazmat test. Went to Brunswick to get fingerprinted, and they tell me I need my birth certificate. Had to go back to Woodbine and get it then come back to Brunswick and wait 1.5 hrs to get printed ($86), then go back to Kingsland DDS, and they tell me it hasn't been approved yet. They never mentioned that when I left to go there. So I wasted a whole day driving up and down the road, and had to take off work, just to get fingerprinted. I'll have to take off another day to go back and take the Hazmat test and renew my license once it's approved. Cold hearted none caring government employees! Please hire some employees with some common sense Georgia!

Went a couple times and both times were smooth. I'm in and out in under 15mins that's unheard of for a DMV and it took 8 days for my license to show up in the mail I also didn't check my mail in a couple days so it may have been less than 8 days but great job staff was really nice I have no complaints.

I'm not sure why there are so many 1 star reviews, ive been here 3 times and got my drivers licenses here. Every time it's been empty and got immediate service.

This Is The WORST Department Of Driving Service I've Ever Been To In My Life@ EMMENIA Needs An Attitude Adjustment Or Perhaps More Training We Contact The State About This Department And Hopefully The Problems Are Resolved. I Asked To Speak With A Higher Authority And She Told Me That She Was The HIGHEST Come To Find Out She's Only A Assistant Manager And Kayla Is The Head Manager. Look At God Showing Up What A Blessing..

Got my new DL and it was super easy. The ladies there were quite helpful. As long as you follow the instructions and walk with all the right documentations needed you will just fine. I was in and out in less than 30 mins. A temporary DL was issued at the end. My real DL was deliever within 8 days in the mail!!!

Great service--I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. Staff was very friendly and competent. My only objection: if you have an 8:00 a.m. appointment, don't show up 20 minutes early because they don't open the doors until 8:00. But all in all, a great office.

Had a positively quick experience at this DMV. Not sure why all the negative reviews, because they have some hard working staff at this (rural) location. Nevermind the pandemic, this place was packed. And even though there were only two employees, they were working their butts off to get you in and out as efficiently as possible. Kudos to those two ladies!

Staff was extremely helpful to getting my license issues sorted out. It did take a while, but they we more than willing to communicate with other agencies on my behalf (computer systems were malfunctioning).

Absolutely useless they take to long to do the simplest of tasks. Systems are out of place and are redundant, and some departments don't or won't have contact numbers. So that allows them to hide behind the people who answer the phones. They provide no help whatsoever but what money from you asap. Like gtfoh.

Best experience at the DMV EVER! Needed GA license from FL for me and my son. There was no waiting and both clerks were as nice and helpful as could be. In and out in 15 minutes!

Worst dmv experience Iv ever had if your military DONT GO HERE they will give you a hard time every time you go in no mater what the situation is for the workers are rude except for 1 lady in their who was very helpful im sorry she has to work up their with them if I could do zero stars I would

Went in Friday 1-27-23 and lady was so rude wouldn't listen to what I needed seems like they didn't want to do any work was 5:30 so could be why.why is our tax dollars going for these rude employees?

Not super busy usually. Service is hit or miss. I've had some awfully uncaring, unhelpful people here, but other times I've had very nice, go out of their way for me people. If you need to ask questions over the phone, call Woodbine office first, since apparently this dmv doesn't answer the phone. This location I think is just a side location. Woodbine is the main branch. Make sure you have your paperwork before you go especially if you're getting a new ga license. Renewals and address changes don't need paperwork, as far as I know. At least I didn't need any in recent months. This Dmv DOES take a card last time I went, but bring cash or check just in case. Woodbine does NOT take card last I went.

Never had an issue with the Georgia Department of Driver Services and I've been here twice in a year. It's pretty straight forward. You can complete the start of an application online and submit it so that it saves times of waiting and filling it all out in the building. Please, though, use the DDS website before coming in to make sure you have all of your information and documents ready as it makes it so much easier on yourself and the DDS employees.

After waiting on hold forever, I instantly got hung up on. change your phone service dmv, please. Not everyone can afford to drive to the dmv and simple questions could be answered if you would only do your job and not hang up every time someone calls.

Make sure you bring the necessary paperwork needed to get your license here. I mean, they want everything. By the way, if you can t receive mail at your physical address, good luck trying to get proof of residency for these people. It is not an easy task. They may want your first born as well, who knows? This place certainly has made being a military spouse this much more difficult.

There usually isn't a long wait. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. They are closed on Mondays. Always check the website to find out what documents you need to bring with you. If you have all the right paperwork, you can be in and out of there in no time!

The girls there are always informative and friendly. It's easy to get in get your business done and get out. They do such a great job.

Drove over a hour to come test here for the second time. Was told that I had until 5 pm to get here The lady name Kim said the test shutoff at 4:45 All 6 computers were still up !!! Again very unprofessional and misleading since the have signs posted they close at 6.

Horrible customer service. I hate feeling like an inconvenience when I myself don't want to be there either. At least for them they get paid!And the phone system is a joke. I called at 8am and no one picked up for 1.5 hours.

Horrible experience. Rude and unfriendly staff. Totally worth the drive to any other DMV a much nicer facility, and a much friendlier staff.

They told me to go SC to grab a motor vehicle report only to come back and be told that they wont accept it because it's not in an envelope stamped by SC and it's not "official" even though it's literally stamped by the Driver Services Director. Great way to waste 5 hours of my life.

Pretty irritating. I just wanted to speak to a person. There doesn't seem to be any way to do that through DDS. There also is no way to contact the local center. I tried several times and several ways on the automated system and online to find answers to my questions, and could not.

This place has no telephone service for simple questions. Ridiculous in this day and age. The service there is terrible. I paid to change my address on my permit and never got the new drivers license. My temporary permit expired and I went to the office and it was there. They never mailed it to me or let me know it was there for pick up.
