We have 4 Toyotas in my family. I brought my Toyota here to change oil. They drained the oil and pulled the car out and told me it was rwady. When I tried to start it, it shutdown. When I popped the hood, the cap from the oil wasn't on and there was no oil in the engine.Second incident, brought my car to install a new catalytic converter, apparently they forgot to screw in two screws into the condenser while installing the converter. The radiator started leaking from condenser constantly hitting the radiator because it was not fully secured. While my the other mechanic was pulling things apart, he found 2 missing screws sitting in the spot as if someone took it off, placed them there and then just forgot to put it back in. The damages to my car and all the trickle-down effects (funds spent on fixing this, towing, being without a car for more than several day) made me realize I should not be brining any of our 4 Toyota vehicles. Just want to share my experience.

Be careful when bringing your vehicle for service at this dealer. The dealer's interpretation of a mileage-based maintenance service may be different from the Toyota factory maintenance guide.I brought my 2004 Tacoma for the 90,000 miles service. In addition to the factory maintenance, my pickup received rear differential service. This is recommended for driving while towing. I have never towed anything on this pickup. My pickup also received fuel induction service, which is never needed unless the fuel filter is clogged. Both unsolicited items substantially increased the cost.

Recently had two new tires put on. The next day, the tire pressure light began blinking on my way to work. I took my car back. Later, I received a text that ready "You need a TPMS sensor and the cost is $305 + tax. This seemed a bit steep to me and since it will not hurt for the light to be left on, I went to pick up my car. No details were discussed when I picked it up, was just handed the key. Tried to reach Katie after the fact because it bother me so bad. Mind you, I bought two tires 6 months ago from them and did not have any tire pressure light issues at all. Never heard back from her to assist with my questions, so I called and asked for the Service Manager, Zach. On a positive note, he did call back, however, after about 5 minutes into the conversation, I could see that we were just going to go around in circles. He did confirm that is the cost of JUST ONE sensor, and the labor charge is $179.00 per hour. I asked which tire needed the sensor and it was then he said it was a multi-step process to make this determination but because I refused the repair, he could not tell me which sensor on which tire because that information would require the other steps. So basically, he is refusing to provide that information because I would not commit to the cost of and for them to make the repair. I also found it shady that I was quoted the price for one sensor, yet he kept saying they would have to determine "how many" needed to be replaced. This, my friends, is what could also be called a pressure sale. Fortunately, my issue isn't something that will make or break the functionality of my car, it is merely all principle based. I have been taking my car here for about 2 years now and never had an issue...until today. A car is an investment, and like all things, if properly cared for, will last for a really long time, but some of the charges are nothing short of highway robbery. I am not sure if I have ever written a review before (good, bad or otherwise), but folks, if something feels off, it's usually because something is.On a side, note, I have someone that said they would run the test, FREE OF CHARGE, to determine which sensor is bad and if I want them to replace it, it will only cost me $100.Service: Tires

Had a coolant flush. Checked the levels and they were a little low. Added some in. Something that simple shouldn t be missed. Not sure I d go back as that was my first experience with them.

I came to this location 2 weeks ago for an oil change. A note was written on my inspection sheet an engine air filter screw is stripped. I asked why was I not notified of it while sitting waiting in the waiting room for 3 hours? No comment. I asked how much is the screw? $11. Replace it please. No, the service department is at lunch for the next 45 minutes - 1 hour. Thus, I returned to the dealership today to have the screw replaced. First service desk person, an Austin Meek(?) said he didn t see any notes under my VIN number, he popped the hood of my car and said he does not see anything wrong. I could not find my paperwork at the time. So I left to go find it. I return 15 minutes later after I found the paper in my car. I gave the paper to a guy at desk 6 (Brenton? Seup?). He said if it were him he wouldn t do anything about it since the cover was secure. I said why not replace it since it s written on the paper by the actual technician? He said it could be the screw or I could have to replace the entire cover, $150. Okay, take it to the back for inspection/evaluation? He said if it were him he wouldn t worry about it. I said, Why do I feel like I m begging to have my car checked out? I don t want this to grow into a bigger problem down the road, I do a lot of driving. It comes off as no one in the service department cared, none of them wanted to assist with anything, like I m making up what was written on my paper and initially told to me at checkout 2 weeks ago. I know to not return to this location with rude, lackadaisical, unwilling to help service desk personnel and will just drive further out to go to the Sandy Springs location I was originally always going to. I can t believe I have to beg someone to do their job, when I m a paying customer and trying to take preventative measures to ensure my car s longevity and efficiency. Such a disappointment. Then when I was getting in my car and driving off guy at desk 6 keeps repeatedly loudly saying YOU HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY! HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY! HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY! Tacky. Lazy. Unprofessional.

Anthony tried to sell me a TPMS sensor for $296 (1 sensor!) and 4 tires yesterday. I politely declined both. Went to Costco today to replace 4 tires, they said the TPMS Sensors were fine. Just stating the facts.

The service manager and staff makes up stories to justify bad service that can lead someone getting hurt.On 12/28/2023 at 10:00 am, my 2007 Tacoma service had an appointment for a Drain and Fill Transmission service (documents enclosed) charged $134.36 and a Safety Recall 90L Potential Floor Mat Interference with Accelerator Petal. They charged a Compliance Fee A6 and Shop Supplies A3, a total of $5.65. At 5:35 pm, I received a call from Costas Hernandez (868) stating the Tacoma service started at 5:35 pm, and the service Tech PU00 said they test-drove the vehicle completion of service at 6:00 pm with a test drive from service. I received invoices TOCS490598 and Tech 999 but could not finish the Recall in time for pick-up. The customer requested the customer return later for repair, and I did not sign a waiver. My son drove to school on I-75, but the Tacoma stopped accelerating, the RPMs went high, and the Tacoma stopped on the highway. AAA Towing towed to Cobb County Toyota on 12/29/2023. The truck did not have transmission issues before Cobb County Toyota's Drain and Fill service. On 12/29/2023, Invoice TOC5490598, the service department adjusted the transmission fluid to verify the correct amount of fluid inside. The service person test-drove the Tacoma, but the shift in reverse does not function and needs a transmission replacement. The declined recall repair was false information. The invoice for TOCS490598 is enclosed. Invoice TOCS490598 never had a Power Steering Fluid issue added because the Power Steering did not leak. I did not sign a waiver.

Will not be going to this location again. Nice people, but they don t check all the services you re paying for when you go in for your maintenance checks. I payed $500 to have my car serviced for its 60k check in and no one told me my car battery was almost dead or that it should be replaced. Less than a month, the batter is dead. Just frustrated that they wouldn t communicate this to me and when I called, they re giving me the go-around. They re too busy to ensure you re getting everything you ve paid for. Fair warning when you try to drop your car off on a Saturday.

I've been having my 4Runner serviced at Cobb County Toyota for over 10 years but I will not be giving this place anymore of my business. My check engine light came on a couple of weeks ago and my car was misfiring. I took it in and they supposedly "fixed" the problem. Within the next few days the light was back on. Long story short, I took my car back to them 3 times within 2 weeks for the same problem. While my car was with them, not one time did someone from service call to keep me updated on the status. I always had to call them. On my last visit they came up with a totally different story of what was causing the problem and wanted to charge me almost $5000 to fix it. Are you kidding me? The service managers Todd and Zach are a joke. They have no customer service skills and both are arrogant and condescending. This place is all about taking as much money from you as they can. They could care less about maintaining relationships with customers. I will never be back here nor will I suggest that any of my family and friends who are Toyota owners bring their cars here for service. If you want honesty, transparency, and fair pricing do yourself a favor and AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!

Went to buy a new Toyota Camry 2020. Claude & Bred was very professional to offer me the car. Actually they bought the car from Cherokee Toyota . And we had some misunderstanding with warranty that was also nicely solved in time. So far so good lets see the future service experience.Service: General repairs & maintenanceService: General repairs & maintenance

Great customer service! I made an impromptu visit one morning this week when half the lights on my car's dashboard decided to turn on. The situation had me more than a little stressed, but the staff were very friendly and helpful, so that made the situation a little less difficult. I also appreciate that the employees didn't try to push me into getting my car fixed there considering how much the repair would cost there. And the courtesy rides to and from work were icing on the cake.

Incredible customer service. Friendly and knowledgeable, I didn't feel pressured to get things done that weren't necessary or swindled when I paid the bill. We definitely go back in the future for any service needs.

During my last service they said my brakes were good but in just about a month, I started to hear metal scratching sounds when I braked. Turns out my brake pads needed replacement and were long overdue. Their wait times are ridiculous too. I waited for 4 hours just to get the oil done and my tires rotated. Wouldn t recommend them any day.

Cobb County Service center is the absolute best. Simon, Anthony, Carlos & David Cobb are my go-to Service Techs and they all provide top-notch customer service. They truly have your best interest at hand when advising you on what needs to be taken care of right away and what can wait.

Calls me on Friday and said my truck was ready for pickup. Come the following week and claim they had not received money from the insurance for part of the repairs... But my was assured Friday my deductible was 1000 and it was ready for pickup... Also ordered the wrong fender emblems which is causing a further delay. Do Better.

Save your hard earned money ! Even after informing what exactly my car was doing & Also I told them reset won t fix that issue ! Well after getting my car back I found it went worst it has more issues than before, I tried calling my service advisor 4 times but it s look s like he doesn t want to talk, I left a message note for him to give me a call back next day morning, No call from him, I personally went back to talk with him he wasn t available, Somebody else came up and asked me, I explained him my issues & He was like we have to work again on your car & You have to pay again ! After keeping my car with them for 48hr and paid more than $800+ he just wanted to ROB my money, Also he wants to work on my car according to his time with appointment while they happily took my car without any appointments before and tells me YOU ARE ARGUING !!Also not to forget my advisor was more interested in changing my 4 tires for $950+ on top of what he charged me for making my car issues worst while my tires are in good shape and can easily go 20-25k miles moreUNPROFESSIONAL, WILL ALWAYS KEEP ATTENTION ON YOUR MONEY AND MAKES YOU PAY MORE AND MORE NO MATTER WHAT

Long story short: parts cannot tell you labor prices despite what the say over the phone and service here isn t great.I was told by Matt in Parts that s a mirror replacement was $426 over the phone. I had to pay for it upfront because it was special ordered. I thought it was steep since I saw prices for $299 elsewhere, so I asked if it included installation. He said it did.I made an appointment with Katey F. for service. I told her I was transferred over from parts and she said that s all I needed. I got here and went up to her (and she seem visibly annoyed probably from someone before me). She took it out on me by talking down to me. Then she was rude when she told me there would be additional labor cost and I told her it should already be paid for. She told me it would $165 likely. I was annoyed and asked to confirm that and she went to confirm, then came back to tell me it was now $250.That was in addition to $426 I d already paid and had been told that would be my grand total. So, I spoke with Matt and then Katy s manager Zach. He was annoyed and blamed parts for the lack of communication despite me speaking with Katy on the phone previously and asking if there was anything else needed. I learned you better ask is there anything else I ll need to pay.Well, Zach being annoyed was willing to knock $50 off the $250 after telling me it d likely take 45 mins or less. Which should have been $165. So I asked why not charge me for for an hour at $165. He said, that s how they get paid. Indicating they overcharge intentionally, knowing it takes 45 minutes they wanted to charge me for an hour and half worth of labor. Sickening.Needless to say, I thought the whole ordeal was unethical. And I m disappointed because I come here every time I need an oil change or tire rotation. Normally, the folks are okay, but under Zach s management I guess they are unnecessarily unwilling to do the right thing. Either a) accept they mislead me and make it right by charging the accurate labor cost or b) accept they mislead me and cover the labor for the extra trouble and rudeness.Regardless, I caved and paid because what else am I supposed to do? I needed it done and they leveraged their power. I m disappointed by the lack of morals here. But what can you do except warn any potential customers of the shadiness.

This place used to be ok but the last year the nickel and dime you for services they don t perform half the time. I had tires supposedly rotated so now when I go there I have to mark them to make sure. They said they replaced my windshield wipers and they were still just as squeaky. The said they would comp new ones but when I picked it up they said they just cleaned them off and they were now magically on back order. They promised they would get me some new ones but I m not holding my breath. This place is shady. At least offer a free oil change when you get called out for charging me a service you didn t even complete.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Tire rotations, Oil change

I typically hate to ng to dealerships for anything, but Austin(my service advisor) was great to work with. The only reason they don't get 5 stars, is after I left the initial time my check engine light came back on so I had to go back. Austin took care of it without charging me for more labor. They got me in quick when everyone else was a week out.

After our first service, our skid plate was not properly reinstalled and we had to go back to get it repaired. We realized after our last service all the valve stem covers were missing and a center cap is gone. Then as we're driving down the highway we discovered we were missing 3 lug nuts and the remaining 3 were loose. Its been 2 weeks since my service so I realize thus isn't typical, but I've never ever had my lug nuts and stem caps just fall off on their own! Thankfully another dealership fixed us up free of charge, definitely not going back to Cobb ToyotaService: Auto maintenance

I had my car repaired here this month. Lake, my estimator, was why I went with this collision center. He came across as extremely knowledgeable and personable. He told me the realistic time frame they could fix my car in, and they made it happen. I would definitely use again.Service: Body & TrimService: Body & Trim

I recently purchased a brand new Toyota and noticed the front bumper didn't line up with the fender completely after a month or two of use. It was off by 1/4 inch.I brought it in and spoke with Brad who looked at it and pointed out where I must have scraped a parking curb, which bent the plastic (under the car) causing the bumper to go out of line. While not technically covered under warranty, they offered to check it out and try to fix it for free since it was so minor. I waited a grand total of 10 minutes and my car was back to new again.Brad was awesome. Excellent customer service, very helpful, and they resolved my issue without an appointment. Hands down, these guys are awesome. Thank you!!
