My vehicle was damaged by another business and I came to this location hoping they could make my vehicle drivable again. Sean Foster did an excellent job communicating what was wrong and what the solutions were in addition to keeping in constant communication throughout the process. This service department made an otherwise horrible situation positive. I will only be going here for any future maintenance on my vehicle!

Ladies Beware! Horrible experience overcharged and took all day for repair despite having an appointment. Charged $292.50 for labor. They installed a battery that cost $109 and took an hour to program/install. Found out the next day labor is $195/hour. They haven't returned call or email about labor fee.

I paid $80 for a diagnosis of a rattle sound and you didn t even check the oil. Afterwards I figured out a shop I had taken it to previously had drained the oil without replacing it, which caused the sound that you diagnosed as a timing chain needing replaced. The worst part is after I discovered this I called my service tech back and asked if they even checked the oil level. He told me that it did have oil in it when they looked but a bad timing chain will cause the oil to disappear. He must have thought I was a complete idiot to believe that. Unless it leaks or burns oil it is t going to go dry. Additionally I hadn t driven the vehicle since I got it back from your shop so I guess the oil just poof disappeared while parked in my driveway. I ll also note that the vehicle has zero oil leaks. Once I discovered the engine was literally bone dry, I filled it with oil and the rattle coming from the engine completely stopped. I guess there wasn t any money in telling me the car had no oil in it. They d rather sell me an unnecessary $3500 repair than be honest and help people.So between charging me $80 and not even looking to see if there was oil in it and lying to me about having checked it and that a bad timing chain will cause my oil to just Houdini out of my engine, I give 1 star. I d give less if it was possible. I wouldn t service a vehicle at Carl Black and I certainly won t buy one there. I can look past a lot but I hate liars.

Took them 3 months to get my differential repaired because they couldn t find parts. This I understand, but when i got my truck back (which was freshly painted prior to this) it had a fat dent in the bumper and scratches all over. It also smelled awful like mildew.

They have some cool technology that photographs the underside of your vehicle and checks tires when you come into the building! Always top notch customer service. I had the pleasure of selling Mr. Blacks home some years ago and I know he would be proud of legacy of service this department provides. My preferred dealership for all things GM.

Oil change was quick and easy with appt. Covid compliant even in waiting area. Tables with ports clean and sanitized. Been coming for years as they are the best. Don't be shy to ask for discounts or coupons, they also do military discount @10%!

I got oil change appointment and it took more than 3 hours just for oil change. Also, I sent advance notice for park assist sensor recall installation and they didn t order the part in advance and I have to return. The reason that I m coming here is because the service plan this dealership sold me up on my GMC purchase is only works at this dealer.

0 communication exists here. They will not return phone calls, update service/repair status(es), provide a rental, and the shuttle is just so conveniently broken down... left one of my family members without a car for 2 days while they "looked into it" and said that they would call 1st thing the following morning with a decision on whether or not we would be issued a rental.... nope.... nothing. Had to call at 5pm that day to find out that it had been ready for pickup for quite some time. Not sure if they even really did the work they said they did... they didn't sum it up or anything... BE CAUTIOUS!!!

I just wanted to let the appropriate person know how happy I was with my interaction and service appointment with Caleb Morgan yesterday. I had an issue (fluid leaking) with my Tahoe late last week and went to a Chevy dealership that was closer to my house and they were rude and not helpful at all and told me to come back in 2-3 weeks for them to even take a look at it. I then called and made an appointment with Carl Black Kennesaw to get the car checked out since I did not know what was leaking and did not want to drive the vehicle until I had an idea of what the issue was.I arrived at my appointment about an hour early, but Caleb immediately offered to help me after he was finished with the customer before me. He was polite and hands on on and able to diagnose and fix the issue (it was not something worthy of waiting 2-3 weeks) in a matter of minutes and send me on my way. While the Carl Black dealership is about twice as far away as the other dealership, I will go out of my way moving forward to only get my car serviced at Carl Black all because of my interaction with Caleb. Even in the busiest of times, just being a nice person can go such a long way. Thanks Caleb and Carl Black Kennesaw.

Never again! They lost our keys and left us without a vehicle for a week! You know what they offered!? $100 to spend there! The next time! Guess what... There won't be a next time! If a car dealer can't keep track of your keys, how can you expect them to fix your car! If you choose to go here, good luck!

Night and day difference in the service I received today at first, Carl Black and then, Firestone. Both were busy but Firestone s customer service and respectability was a 10 compared to the 0 for Carl Black where it seemed their busy day was more of an annoyance instead of value to them. I made an appt a month ago for Carl Black. When I arrived 15 minutes early, I was told by Jose my parts were not available even though I had the parts specified with an estimate from when I made the appt a month prior. Everything should have already been ordered by them and ready to service for my scheduled vehicle if they are an experienced car service business. They were totally not prepared and tried to blame me. What??? I had email verification of my appt and specific requests. I have had some positive experiences with Carl Black in the past purchasing 3 vehicles from them and having numerous oil changes, batteries, and other work completed. Many times were great. Some were similar to this with similar lines . After this, I will not return. I left and the $800 Carl Black was to receive from me went to a competitor and will probably continue that way. Customers and their time to fill out service requests and make appointments should be valued and respected.

This service center is a complete mess. We had an appointment and they still couldn t see us for an oil change. Told us to come back the next day and to walk in. Walked in the next day(today) and left after being told they wouldn t be able to do it today. It s unbelievable! What their sales team is doing is predatory, they sell these prepaid service plans and then they essentially make it impossible to service your car.

So friendly. They were able to find out what was wrong with my 2016 Buick enclave the next day, which was a lot, and have it back to me in 3 business days. I'm so thankful that David stayed late the night I had to have my vehicle towed. It was a blessing.

Terrible service for my girlfriend today. She had a 9 a.m. appointment, made a month ago, for a car she bought new from YOU and she specified the tires she was buying when she made the appointment on-line a MONTH AGO. It's part of your own on-line registration process!Yet, she was told today that you did not have her tires and it would be 3 p.m. or so before you'd have them and that SHE did something wrong.Why make a 9 am appointment!????? Why make it a month in advance?!!!! Why shift the blame to her when you messed up???? Why not tell her you were sorry for YOUR mixup and offer her a ride home and a ride back while her car gets resolved???So we got all four tires elsewhere at a place that cares about customers and does not shift blame when they make a mistake.Here's what's gonna happen now: We will NEVER buy a car from Carl Black again and I will tell everyone we know to never buy from Carl Black or use the service department. I will stop typing now so I can call a few friends in Kennesaw and warn them about how we were treated at Carl Black.

Poor Custumer service. This guy Jose told me upfront that whatever issue my car has will take all day to fix. He told me that he has to call insurance and it will take all day on the phone. I talked to my car insurance and they said it takes 5 minutes to set up and whatever they ask the insurance will pay. My husband and I purchased several cars in this place and had been taking other cars at this service for many years. We will not do business with this company anymore.

Gone are the days of asking for the service department and getting someone from the service department.I used to take my car here religiously.Now, I call and call and all I get are the receptionists trying to schedule me for an appointment at all costs.I call, she keeps asking me to schedule an appointment. I need to speak to someone in service department first and then I can schedule. I get put on hold over 10 minutes. Not a single check-in.I call back and same thing. This time it's 15 minutes and no answer or check-in.I call back a third time and ask what is the matter?"It's not my fault", she says. "You just have to wait. Are you trying to schedule an appointment!"Click. Andre was my service adviser and he was absolutely terrific at keeping me informed and updated! My car was repaired super quick and has been running great ever since! Mr Ross was also super nice, we had wonderful conversation when he gave my a ride to and from the mall while my car was being looked at, now I have a new friend! I love how friendly, professional and honest everyone here is! I am a loyal customer for life!

I've been getting my vehicles serviced here for years now and have never had a bad experience. The service advisors are very helpful and answer all of my questions in detail.They started a new service where you will have a video of your multi-point inspection sent to you phone. I thought this was an excellent touch. The technician narrates the video as they go through the inspection so you can see what they are seeing.Highly recommended.

I took my wife's car in for an oil change and to look at the breaks. I was met by Laura Major and she provided all the terms as well as my service options. I chose option 2 which was less expensive. She walked me into the waiting area after explaining that I would receive a text confirming I had arrived at the scheduled time. She also advised that I would receive a second text message with a link I could click on to see the actual inspection on video, 'real-time' narrated by the mechanic. This was awesome...! Laura was extremely knowledgeable about her job, was very professional and accommodating. She's a very sweet person.

The service department is honest, straightforward and fantastic as an entire department! We love going to Jason Ellis in service, however each service rep is fantastic! We have bought 2 cars from this dealership from Sean! He is so personable and will find the car perfect for your need and financial situation. He found exactly what we asked for! He drove out to Duluth, to meet me to bring me paperwork and my brand new Chevy Spark when I was stuck at work! I will never forget! We can't say enough great things about this dealership. It is the only place we will go to buy and service our car. We are life long customers

Great experience at Carl Black today. Had a 1:30 appointment.Went right in. Very friendly and professional staff. Took info needed and truck went straight back for work. A short time later they took me back to meet the technician who is going to do work. And to conferm where to mount new equipment. Clean and neat work. Highly satisfied. Will be back for any other work needed.

Carl Black as all dealerships can sometimes feel pricey. However, I have actually gotten better deals here than many other places and sometimes with some things you want to make sure they are done right. And anything that you need changed or fixed is done well here. And I have been fit into the day before to help me when I needed it. Very, friendly and professional as well. My wife purchased her last 3 cars here also.

Brought my car in for service the other day and was very impressed how Terry treated me. Even though they were very busy, they treated me like family and got what I needed done. I was in the market for my first vehicle when I first walked into Carl Black. Austin Starling was the first gentleman I spoke with and the rest is just about history. Great attitude, excellent service and not once did I feel like I was being "sold". I am now two months into my 2018 Camaro and I couldn't be happier!I will definitely be returning with my siblings as soon as they are in the market. Highly recommended!
