I own a 2014 Chevy Cruze that needed some work done. Everything started off great. I dropped my car off, they kept me updated, and had it fixed within a week. There were some issues after I picked it up, but they towed it at no charge and fixed any mishaps. I appreciate them for taking the time and making it right.

Paid over 1800$ for a heater core replacement and a diagnostic because my car has been having electrical issues. They thoroughly checked it (supposedly), fixed a radiator leak and replaced my thermostat, and then assured me there was no further issue. My Corvette broke down the day I got it back. I've tried to call a couple times, left messages, gotten no response. Spent all of the money I had in savings, and borrowed money I didn't have and my car is still sitting in my front yard, not running. I feel completely taken advantage of and will never recommend them to anyone else.

I'm new to town and this shop came highly recommended and now I know why. The first plus was being greeted at the door by 2 adorable pups. Cash and Luna. They really made you feel welcome. The waiting lounge area was also very comfortable and I sat with Cash and Luna and watched Christmas movies while I waited for a diagnostic to be done to my car. Anthony was pretty amazing as he sat and went over the estimate with me, he actually recommended that if I could do the work myself, it would save me a chunk of money bc the work needed is very labor intensive and would consume the biggest portion of the estimate. I was floored, in all of the times I've worked with automotive shops, this is the first time someone actually cared about my wallet vs their profit. I highly recommend this shop and if I can get the money together, I will absolutely have them do the work. All in all, my experience was beyond superb. I will recommend them to anyone who will listen. 5 stars.

No Xtra Charge!Very Happy! also a lot $ cheaper than all of those other big chain shops in WR., Ogden Auto / Bonaire Tire Owners are old school -hands on Swinging Da Wrench! Love It..

We brought in our car on Tuesday night with our own used replacement part (TCM). On Wednesday, they called us and said it wouldn t work, but that they could a brand new part in that day. I kept my hopes low for having it by the weekend, but it was ready Friday. I ve never had such quick service. (Ford had actually said there was no chance of us getting a new part. We had ordered it twice & the orders were cancelled. We were forced into the used part we brought in with our car. So for them to find the part in and of itself was insane.)Not only this, but we had a bit of a mixup on pricing. Most places would go with whatever they wanted and force you to pay. But Candis honored the original pricing. This was EXCELLENT customer service that, to us, shows that this is an upstanding company. We will be coming to Ogden for any future car issues, and we highly recommend them!Service: Transmission

I am so happy with Greg and his crew at Ogden automotove. They are all so friendly, fast, honest and reasonably priced. This is the only place I've found that includes a tire rotation with your oil change and they can get it done so fast. And honest! The previous time I went I asked them to double check my brakes because I heard a squeal. They told me my breaks were fine, just dusty. Now you know any other mechanic outfit on the planet would have said I needed brakes, just so they could make the sale. Not the Ogden crew. I have been a customer for 2 years and will keep going and recommending them to my friends and fam.

This year alone i ve spent 3-4K at Ogden Automotive on my truck and have been happy with most of the work they ve done, great communication. But, I was given a quote for $120 for a realignment and camber caster bolt replacement a few months ago by them, so I came up there yesterday to finally get it done and they told me it would be $520!!! I tried negotiating with them, I said they should honor the price they originally gave me yet they refused to budge whatsoever. As a business owner myself, i ve taken jobs that i ve ended up underquoting but still got the job done for the price I originally quoted because it s the right thing to do, even if I lost some money doing it. I am very disappointed in Ogden Automotive, and I hope they stop trying to rip people off on pricing. I called another reputable shop in the area and they will be doing the realignment and camber caster bolts replaced for $130!!! They will now have my business instead of Ogden. I am not leaving this review to hate, or to tell anyone to never do business with Ogden, but in hopes they see this and fix this problem. The lady I talked to was polite throughout the entire conversation and even tried her best to pacify me, but in the end this entire situation was due to a lack of respect for their customers. I don t care if a company makes $100k a year or $10M, you should do your best to keep your customers satisfied with the work done and to always keep them coming back, that is not what happened today

They told me to bring my car in on a Tuesday morning and didn't even roll it into the shop until the next Monday. 0 communication on their part. I had to call if I wanted an update. Brought my car in to fix something in the transmission, 1 week later I apparently need a new transmission, they order one that is worse than the one I already had(not their fault necessarily) but on top of all the other frustrations it was just ridiculous. Car was at their shop for 2.5 weeks and I left with nothing changed. This is a 2 star instead of 1 because the manager knocked 400 off the price and seemed genuinely aware of how bad the service was.Service: Transmission

I would 100% recommend Ogden automotive for your vehicle care needs. I went in beyond frustrated and left knowing that I wouldn't be go any where else when it comes to vehicle care. John was who I talked to on the phone several times, and even in my frantic, frustrated and upset state he kept a calm demeanor and was fantastic to work with - talking me through each thing as needed. Edwin, Anthony & Julia were also involved in the processes and helped us get our vehicle figured out quickly, efficiently and cost-effectively!! They truly cared about me as a person and not just looking at me as a number or a vehicle.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Tires, Engine repair

Overall, the experience was just okay for being first timers at Ogden Automotive. I've personally had better experiences at other shops throughout the various places we have lived. I typically like to support local independent type shops like this versus the dealership service centers. We went in for front wheel bearing replacements and they ended up finding that the right axle shaft assembly needed to be repaired as well. I gave them the green light to go ahead and do so.Pros: Job was completed/issue and noise is 100 percent gone/drives like new again/once the parts arrived, turn around time was fairly quick seeing how busy they were/5 percent military discount on labor/12 month or 12k mile warranty (is what I was told)Things to work on: Communication through the process could be better (a simple text or email along the way for status updates would be a nice addition)/service advisor was fairly new, felt that she was unsure of answers when I had general questions and didn't seem very knowledgeable overall about automotives/pricing (in my opinion) was a little high for the job and when asked what the total would be, the price jumped around on us three different times throughout the process (increased each time)/with the price of the job, little things like a car wash, vacuum or even an oil change at no charge or discounted were given at other shops with our other vehicles...these are small things for a shop that are big for customers (in my experience)/I didn't ask this time (and I wish I would have), but I normally like to meet the tech or mechanic working on my car and if I had the time and the shop allowed it, I typically like to stand back and watch as the job is being performed...I'm unsure of what Ogden's answer would be to this and whether it would be allowed, but other shops I have been to were open in letting me near the work where I can see what's happening first hand and ask questions of the tech and mechanics as they perform the work real time (versus communicating with only a service agent). This, to me, is a great relationship builder with the business as a whole and gives me a sense of transparency throughout the entire process.Overall, they were okay. The job was well done, I just didn't feel like we were treated as "family" as they claim they'd make you feel. I'm unsure at this point if we'll return for future work but want to thank them for fixing our vehicle at the end of it all.

Would you like an old school service shop? Do you feel comfortable walking up to the storefront with three engines lying around? Is it like home when you walk through parked Corvettes, Buick GS Stage 1, a Fairlane 500 convertible, lifted C2500 running a turbo muffler, and everyone smiling and asking, 'Good morning! How 'ya doin?" Then this is the place for you to get the service on your vehicle accomplished. This is NOT a sterile, quiet, corporate-mandated-wall-color service center and waiting room, they fix what's broke, at a decent price. Stop by and give them a try, it worked for my truck.*update* They have a nice waiting room, comfy couches, and a TV. Delivery service is with a smile and the driver was clean, courteous, and held a great conversation. Now, if you are expecting a gaming system or an iRacing setup to occupy your time while you wait, not yet*

My car kept running hot at highway speeds. It took a few attempts to diagnose it with a leaking heat gasket but they stayed with it. Long story short I paid the 4k to have the gasket done but ended up with a new (used) engine out of it plus some. After the gasket not fixing the problem and having to keep the car for an extra two weeks (due to needing an engine) they provided a rental with was extremely professional and appreciated. The car has been, and continues to be doing well. So glad I found Ogden! I must give credit to General Manager, Edwin, for his communication, patience, and professionalism. I will continue to use them in the future, partly due to Dave Ramsey, ifkyk ;-)Service: Engine repair

My family was traveling from Chicago, Illinois to Orlando Florida. We stopped to get gas and after the fill up our vehicle would not start. We contacted many other outlets to get help, but Ogden Automotive were the ones who saved the day!! They not only found us a Towing company to use but also diagnosed and repaired our vehicle to get us back on the road in the same day. All of there staff were very polite, knowledgeable, and understanding of our situation. They went above and beyond to help a family, far from home, feel just as important as a local customer. Thank you so much!!

Had such high expectations for this place but that quickly changed. Was told three separate times my vehicle would be done today then get a call in route to get my car that it won t be finished until the morning. HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL. Definitely my first and last time going here, too many other options to choose from.Update: picked up my vehicle today and spoke with Edwin who heard about the confusion with the timeframe for my car. He was truly sincere and apologized for what happened and handled it better than I expected. Thank you, Edwin, for changing my outlook on your business.

Helpful diagnostics, but Their quote for transmission replacement was on the high side. Also took 4 days to get it diagnosed. We ended up taking our vehicle to the Trans shop in town for the replacement.

After a less than unpleasant experience at my local dealership service department , I had a friend refer me to Ogden and i knew instantly I was in good hands! Shayne listened to my concerns and kept in contact with me through the entire process of getting myVehicle back to me! Even after they serviced my vehicle when an alert showed up on the dash all I had to do was call and take it by there, they checked it out quickly and got me back on the road. Not that I plan to be back but in the event my vehicle ever needs attention this will be where my family goes! Thanks Ogden for professional and efficient service.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I brought in a Jeep Wrangler that was consistently leaking oil. Ogden was extremely thorough and persistent in locating and repairing all the oil leaks. While they had the vehicle torn apart, they even changed out some parts (with my permission) that were worn down and expected to fail in the near future. This saved me a lot of money on future labor costs. It has been a few months and no sign of any leaks! I appreciate their professionalism and honest assessments. They even warranty their work within a network of mechanic shops in case you move out of the local area. I would definitely recommend them to my family and friends!
