Reid s Automotive Repair and Emissions was recommended years ago by a co-worker. I will be forever indebted to her. This business is run by honest, fair and professional owners. Mr Reid has worked on all of my vehicles and always a more fair price, guaranteed and on point. Mrs Reid usually runs a smooth Emissions operation. In fact, emissions are less costly there and my observation is a quick process. No need to sit and wait a long time.A better husband and wife owned/run business you won t find. Fair pricing, excellent mechanic work, guaranteed and professional and timely, no lengthy wait (depending on specific repairs of course). Getting your vehicle repaired, emissions tested and out the door for that annual registration. Very personable and called with diagnosis as he said he would. I decided to allow him to repair my vehicle due to a sense of trust I get from him.I did allow him to repair my A/C and I am very happy with the work. He is thorough and knowledgeable my SUV Is freezing cold even with outside air at 99� yes I m very happy with the work.

I'd DEFINITELY go back there again. The first time I had my emissions done there it was done by a woman which was a good shocking surprise to me because you don't see THAT everyday, am I right? Lol #GIRLPOWER!.. it didn't take long to get em done either. AND the best part it only cost me $15 bucks soO big win for me!

I called to ask a question about a service to see if they provided it or not. I was told no and was hung up on before I can ask any more questions. I am not sure what the gentleman s name is but he was highly rude, and I would not recommend this place to anyone. If you can be rude to a potential customerImagine, how would they treat you like if you were a paying customer.

Reid's Auto Repair and Emissions is one stop place done , where car repair need to be fixed. It has hard working professional mechanics. Owners(Mr. & Mrs.) are honest, respectful, punctual about time given to customers.

Price is good for emissions, but I was pretty annoyed that they didn't have any signage up or anything listed online that I could find to indicate they were closed the weekend I went to have my emissions done. To add to the frustration, this was a return visit because the first attempt, my truck was not yet ready. The attendant didn't think to mention to me they would be closed for several days that week, despite knowing I'd be returning fairly soon to attempt the re-test. I feel that it should've been communicated in some way.Update: It's even more frustrating to learn that any emissions location can do a re-test, since the attendant explicitly told me I had to come back to the same one.

Mr. Tony has been my mechanic since I moved to GA. He's a very ethical, honest, kind hearted man. If your looking for a truly great mechanic, well look no further. Reids is a one stop shop. It's family oriented. Mrs. Reid runs the inspection side. These two are a dynamic Duo.There hasn't been a issue that he couldn't diagnose, even in the early years when I had troubles with my BMW 740i.He'll give you options & let you decide.Listen, look no futher, plus the repair time is reasonable. Depending upon the repair need & customer financial capabilities. But usually it's quick. If there's a delay, it'll be from you honestly as a customer. Not his team on fixing the issues. They'll keep you updated & aware of any changes.Listen, I've been through the struggle of pinching pennies, having side unlicensed guys, even other mechanics work on my vehicles. But hands down,Mr. Tony @ Reids surpassed them all. Fixed what the side guys destroyed, Trina force a fit because they didn't have proper tools, skills & a real shop.Or he didn't break my pockets like the other mechanic shops. Reid's Auto is the place to go if you're having automobile issues (especiallyin the Jonesboro area). He and his mechanics are friendly, knowledgeable and the prices are reasonable. Just ask for Mr. Reid, he'll get you straight.

Tony Reid and his wife offer great customer service, good advice and all at an affordable price.Their annual emissions test is only $15! Which is one of the lowest in the state of Georgia.I have been going to them for all of my used car repairs for over a decade now. And I get my Emissions test done there annually.I have referred so many people there over the years and all have been pleased.

Great work at a fair price. He stays busy. I use Andy's and Leo's most of the time these days. Andy got his start with Reid. Both are great guys. You might want to check behind Leo if he works on your car. Just saying.

You really need to update your hours. On Google your closing time is 6pm. I left work early traveling from McDonough to get my emissions done only to find out you were closed. Your sign at the shop has 5pm. Gas to high to make lost trips.

I went here for my Emissions testing. It went quite smoothly. There was no one in line so I got through quickly. Very low price. Just as says on pictures. I only took off a star because I called several times to check price and no one answered. I am sure they are busy, so I would suggest quoting price and location on voicemail to keep more business. I almost went somewhere else. Lol. A bit ran down looking. But, the Emissions guy was super nice and seemed to try to keep it up.

You need a Great auto shop and emission test, check out: Reid' Auto Repair and Emissions. They have excellent mechanics there. Mrs Reid do emission test and handle the front office. Last year the family Trailblazer fail emission test in three different areas. I have gotten it fix there and it pass the emission test for 2020. I have taken my 2017 Malibu for emission test this year and it pass 2021. Now my daughter car is overheated and leaking antifreeze and she have taken to Reid's. They do great work!

Purchased a 2007 Lincoln MKZ this week and I was extremely impressed with the care and service that I received. They answered all questions I had very professionally which gave me great satisfaction with my purchase. I drove back to my home in Florida the same day. Very average low-budget, shade-tree mechanic shop. Too busy, too many, vehicle, not enough space and appearance isn't the priority. However, if you are on a budget, excellent service, excellent prices, and even a comfortable place to wait. But be prepared to either come again later, schedule, or wait double the estimate. Your choice - save time or save money but not both!

Truthful honest business to take your car in for repairs. I will not take my car nowhere else but Reid's Auto Repair. I know it's a good place when I run into one of my coworkers and he tells me he's been coming there many years. They are the best.

Super helpful and very affordable services. I went there for my emissions testing and the attendant was very helpful. I failed at first due to a manufacturer error code, went and got it fixed, failed again because I didn't put enough mileage on the car after the repair and had to go back. They only charged me for the initial test. Not saying they will do the same for you, but they are that understanding!
