Friendly, professional, knowledgeable & efficient!Identified my problem over the phone just from asking what issue I was having. I self diagnosed the car with needing a front end alignment and the whole time it was a bent rim. They re a great team! Antonio has great energy and customer service over the phone.Walt is calm, efficient and professionalRufus is knowledgeable and polite plus he will show you exactly what s wrong!LADIES!!!! Come get an inspection without feeling worried about getting over charged or men being unprofessional!I will definitely be back! And the music selection is dope too!Thanks guys!

This place is great. I ve been bringing my car and my wife car for years. Antonio is the best. He answered all my questions and made sure my car was took my standards and called during the week to make sure everything was still holding up. I would give Antonio ten stars

The service manager, Antonio, exhibited great customer service. Although I scheduled an appointment online, I had to wait a few hours to have my tire repaired. Antonio was extremely apologetic and transparent as to how the day was structured with cars waiting to be repaired. As I waited, I saw how patient he was with irritable customers both in person and over the phone. His interaction with his team was superb and they seemed to have had a great working relationship. Upon completion of my repair work, he was still apologetic for my wait and appreciative of my patience.I've been a patron of that Jonesboro-Tara Blvd. facility for over 7 years now because of the good work their more seasoned team provides. By far, one of the best Pep Boys locations in the metro Atlanta area.

We needed two tires and came to PEPBOYS just to make sure they had the tires. Theo inspected the vehicle and advised we actually needed 4 tires. We were prepared to leave and he advised he could quickly assist and get us on our way. He did everything that he said he would do. We will definitely return. Thanks for the amazing service.

The worst service I ever received in my life. My car was towed up there on a Saturday around 1-2pm not sure of exact time because nobody kept me informed from PepBoys or the 3rd party towing company they used. I told them the exact issue with my car because it s giving me trouble before. I also expressed to them I was from out of town and it was an emergency to get my vehicle so I wasn t stranded in another state. From 1 or 2 when my car got there to 7pm when they closed nobody called me to say they were looking at my vehicle I had to call every 2 hours cause I wasn t getting a update and every time they told me the mechanic was looking at it finally it gets to 6:30 I call again and they say the mechanic is gone for the day and he will try to figure my car Sunday. I arrived Sunday at 8am because my hotel checkout was 11am and I was going to be stuck with nowhere to go and no car until however long. The manager was obviously aggravated that I was there first thing in the morning. He started arguing with me instead of apologizing for the lack of communication and customer service. They didn t have any of my information when I asked him what number he had on file he listed off the number to the tow company. Within me being there for just 15 minutes another mechanic came in , and he looked at my car for a spilt second and said I just needed one simple part to fix my issue. So I ended up waiting on their property for 4 hours because the part store wasn t open yet and then it took around 3 hours for them to complete the job. At the end the mechanic told me nobody looked at my car Saturday because he was too busy. I know what it s like to be short staffed but if that was expressed to me Saturday I would have been way more understanding to the timeline. The mechanic Carl was so nice and helpful, but Antonio and whoever working the counter that could probably use some training on customer service and empathy. It was just a extremely stressful situation and being a woman going into a mechanic shop I always feel like I m going to be taken advantage of and to have a grown man argue with me was very scary when im just there needing help.Moral of the story DO NOT GO TO THIS Pepboys LOCATION. I made a reservation online for a free tire rotation that was offered when we purchased our tires. After waiting over an hour our car was still not serviced and they did not even appear to be busy. Staff did not appear to be as friendly. Maybe I am just use to the fast and friendly service at Discount Tires, even though Discount Tires is always packed, I am always greeted well and in and out, especially for something as simple as a tire rotation.

Very unprofessional. I will never return .. I feel as a women men try to down play like we don t know what s the issues with the car I had my car diagnosed ! & brought it for alignment .. the man was trying to tell me other wise when he s not even a mechanic I came December 7 & whoever the guy was with the glasses very unprofessional as if he don t even wanna do the job had a nasty attitude as well ignoring my questions .. I had yup ! Thanks won t be back

The customer service at pep boys on Tara boulevard is the worst misdiagnosed my car try to overcharge me when I made him aware that I knew what it should cost me for parts and labor he came down off the price $312 and called it a discount. Come to find out two days later my car was misdiagnosed I paid for parts that I didn't even need in labor and I'm very upset about it and I will be dealing with this situation looking forward it is not right to get scammed when you're trying to trust someone to fix your car that's why people do private mechanics these days because it's you can't trust taking your car into the shop you want to get professional help but then they try to scam you and it's the worst.

After having front suspension work elsewhere, I went in to the pep boys on January 30th for an alignment. After getting the alignment, the abs, traction control and esp lights came on along with the car veering to the right and making sharp turns. I took it back up there on January 31st and they pointed out transmission and catalytic converter issues which have nothing to do with my alignment. They also pointed out wheel sensors which I took elsewhere to be fixed they have been fixed but the car is still turning Sharp and veering to the right. They claim the alignment was good but isn t it my car is barley turning and veering right which was not a problem after even getting the suspension work. Complete waste of money and now I have to pay someone else for another alignment!

First I had an appt at 330 got there around 315 didn't get to my car until about 430 wait was extremely long especially when they only had one car that was before, the whole team was outside laughing smoking and cursing, that's one problem. So here is the second problem, they come get my keys me and my children go get something to eat at 5:04 I get a text that says your car is ready for pick up. I walk back over there to get my car and it's not finished I didn't leave there until a little after 6 I was late for work and when I go ask for the manager to make a complaint Theo said he was a manager and he will be in to take my complaint he came in and went to the garage I had to call the 1800 number to make a complaint I will never go there again, your team is disrespectful, lazy and rude.. you need a new team. Theo and Bernie are simply amazing! Customer service was the best I've had in a long time! They went above and beyond to make sure my car was serviced in time and made my "stay" pleasant while waiting! I'll certainly be back, and highly recommend this particular location! Thanks gentleman! Car is back running smooth again!

I posted a review of this store recently, and claimed they didn't return two tires that were not worn out. In that review I should have also taken some responsibility for not demanding the return of those tires. If anyone reading my review took it to mean that I was alleging something shiesty on their behalf, I apologize..; that wasn't my point. Simply put, I was told I needed two tires replaced, but bought a complete set. The other tires should have been returned...

GREAT shop!! Had a flat tire driving down the highway, called these guys and by the time we made it to the shop, Bernie had our new replacement tire picked out and ready to go. We were back on the road in under 45 minutes. Excellent service - thank you!!

Walt does a outstanding job along with his work associates I enjoy taking my car there it's a wonder experience walts knowledge is unprecedented always puts my needs first I enjoy doing business with Walt if he wasn't there I wouldn't go bottom line

Went there this morning for my trailblazer I was given an eta of two hours but the work was done in less time. The guy at the counter has great customer service I ve never experienced an auto shop with a representative that was friendly and gave accurate information I really appreciate him and everyone at this location they re a great team!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Having issues with my AC. Something told me not to go there anymore as the last time I went to get front brakes, the guy tried to charge me $700+. When I talked him down to a reasonable price, the guy sold me some used brakes and asked me to not take it back there to no one but him. Brakes started squeaking that same day. Me being the person that I am, decided to give this location another try. I dropped my van off having paid to fix what ever was wrong with my cooling system. $700+prepaid. I pick my van up having been told that it was ready for pick up. I Uber to pick up my van and the guy is handing me my keys telling me that the fan keeps cutting off and he has to hit it to get it to work. To make a long story short, my van still blows out hot air and nothings changed. I got upset and went back inside and the guy told me that he s looking at another fan and it s about $500+ for the part. Once again I told the guy I wouldn t have prepaid if I knew that there would be more charges, plus, why call me to pick up my vehicle when it s still not ready. Do not waist your time with these guys. All I wanted was what I paid for. I m not a happy guy right now and will definitely tell others not to patronize this particular establishment! Money gauging at its finest!

I worked with Robert while getting my car fixed. I was out of town for the week and he kept me up to date with my vehicle! He was very attentive and was always so sweet when I called him, which was many times :-)! I definitely would recommend coming back! I live in McDonough but will come back to have them service my vehicle. I will be scheduling an oil change with them soon!

WALT IS NOT A GREAT MANAGER, HE ALWAYS HAS A ATTITUDE ABOUT DOING HIS JOB. I VE CAME TO THIS PEP BOYS TWO DIFFERENT TIMES AND HE ALWAYS TELL ME THAT HE CANNOT DO ANYTHING FOR ME AND FOR THAT I WILL BE REPORTING HIM TO CORPORATE ABOUT HIS ATTITUDE.

I took my car to have my AC checked in my Volkswagen Jetta because I wasn t sure if it was my AC but anyway it end up being my AC control panel, my AC light would not come and the light around the panel. Mr. Walt specifically told me they put Freon in my car to see if that was the problem and it wasn t but they took the Freon back so I had my control panel fixed and now my AC is blowing hot air. I believe they took all of my Freon out. Now their machine to check AC is suddenly broken. I want that Freon back in my car because it is extremely hot outside to be dealing with this. I caught Mr. Walt in a lot of lies!!! I will Sue if I have too.

This was the experience that I had with Barney at Pep Boys on Highway 1941 in Jonesboro Georgia he lied and told me it would take me 14 to 4 weeks to get my deposit back after I deposit 823 I email the president of Pep Boys it only took him 2 days to make Barney put my money back on my card this was October 10th 2023 now I'm just getting my money back on my card after emailing the president of this company it only took 2 days i will never go back to Pep Boys again

On July 24th I had my truck towed to this location for a diagnostic test that showed (according to them) I needed to replace the fuel pump... that turned into me needing a fues relay box... that turned into it keeps blowing fuses even after replacing the fuse box .. that turned into wires everywhere.. and it finally turned to SORRY WE CANT FIX IT on September 7It took almost 2mths for them to say we can't figure out how to fix the problem and they just said you need to have it towed to another shop. This was my first and VERY LAST time ever using pep boys and suggest that you don't either..

I would just like to say that I had a great experience here! That day I needed to travel to work by 6PM, but around 4pm I noticed that I had a flat tire. I brought my car here and they got my tire repaired quickly and I was able to travel on time! I am very grateful for they were able to help me!

Robert was super accommodating and kind. He was clear about the pricing and the needed repairs. I told him what my budget would be and he worked it out so that I'd be able to afford my much needed repairs. Sandy is running like a new woman and she still has to go back to get one more thing fixed thank you boys!

Update 4/25/23 @ 11:30 am. I was given an appointment for today. I came to my appointment a little before 10. It is now 11:30 and my car is just sitting on the lift. Mind you, this is for 1 tire to be changed. I'm never coming back to this location!!!! They have no respect for you time and there's no communication!!!!!I need my tire changed. Called they told me they could do it, itll be an hr n a half , I get here, they talking about oh not today. SO WHO DID I SPEAK TO THAT. HAD ME DRIVE THIS WAY, only to not get my tires changed!!!! Pep boys everywhere is trash at this point

Ms. K is amazing here. She was able to get me in and out in less that 20 minutes for my new tires. I initially called a DIFFERENT Pep Boys who wouldn't take me because they "closed" almost 2 hours after I called which was weird. But this shop and Ms. K took me in with no issues! If you need a Pep Boys, make the drive to this shop. Great Service.Services: General repairs, Auto tire replacement

You'd be better off going to prison and bending over to pick up the soap than to go to this Pep Boys (or any, for that matter) because they will go out of their way to figure out how to screw you.
