The staff was very nice. However.....the ice is synthetic. It s plastic white tiles. The ice skating blades are flat on the bottom but there is literally no way to skate or push off to move around like you are really skating. All the kids were better off running around and sliding in their socks.I grew up in Michigan so def know how to skate. They advertise its synthetic, but I ve seen better.

Have to pay $8 to get onto Jekyll Island! We went there to ice skate, however, the skating village has plastic floors, no ice. The website didn t specify this in their ads. My daughter was disappointed and we didn t bother paying more. Just walked around the beautiful square and drove 45mins back to home.

It was a fun time HOWEVER it is not ice skating, it's ice skates on plastic. Go around sunset as the skating village has a brilliant view of the sunset. The lights around the skating village were awesome to see also!

Please don t spend your money here unless it s for a joke. I know some fake ice skating rinks can be nice, but this is the equivalent to taping kitchen knives to your feet, grabbing a plastic cutting board, and skating on it in your home. Really disappointed.

Don't waste your money or time. Unfortunately it's just a piece of plastic and you really can't skate at all. Just walk around in ice skates.

Yeah, I would have to agree. The skates you are given are dull. As a result you can't push off and actually "skate". Its OK for little kids......
