I ve been going to Stop and Ride for years. I have always been pleased with their service and prices. Greg is a great owner - always friendly, kind, and shoots straight. I normally work with Cindy, and she s great. We always find something to laugh about! You couldn t ask for better folks or better service.

As a former service advisor this is the #1 place to take your car! I ve dealt with plenty of repair shops and none of them come close to Stop and Ride. Cindy is always very kind and communicative and will do whatever she can to help your vehicle needs with a smile on her face. Phil is always dependable, will do what it takes to guarantee your satisfaction and some of the best customer service I have seen. They have helped me many times in a pinch and I will always recommend my friends and family to Stop and Ride. Best shop in Jefferson!

If you happen to need a local provider for automotive services, I highly recommend Jerry and the gang at Stop and Ride . I recently took my 2005 Dodge ram to a local dealership, And after two weeks of waiting on parts and trying to decipher some error codes that was in my computer system, my truck still was not repaired. I was referred to Stop and Ride by a friend of mine, and let me say I will be doing business here again in the future If ever needed. Jerry was very honest, and the crew did top-notch work. They did not try to sell me items that I did not need, they took the time to diagnose my issues with my vehicle, and only repaired what was needed. They are very prompt with their service and they do detail work. Give these guys a call first whenever you have automotive needs.

Very good customer service, staff is very polite and informative. Jerry (Shop Manager) was able to repair my truck in 2 days, versus the Ford dealership wanting to keep my truck for a week just to diagnose the problem. Very competitive pricing and they take care of our Veterans. Thank you, Jerry!

I would like to express my gratitude to Jerry for his exceptional help in fixing a problem with my car. Despite the fact that this particular issue was not typically handled at this location, Jerry went above and beyond to help me. Additionally, he was very honest and provided me with the best advice to save money. I highly appreciate the honesty and trustworthiness of this location. If you happen to visit this place, I highly recommend asking for Jerry. You won't be disappointed.

I would love to tell you a story about a wonderful group of people that go out of their way to take care you. They know your name, they stay late to fix that tire, they remember your family, they work on a Saturday, they hold your hand every step of the way to schedule, quote and document your repair needs. The advice they give is 1st rate and the work they provide is top of the line with quality results and quality parts. Cindy is the absolute best at customer service. Greg is always there to lend a helpful hand and Phillip can do what nobody else can to find a repair solution for your vehicle. Hands down, the only place that I will allow to touch my car. They have so many customizable repair solutions from towing to parts ordering to prompt, friendly, quality, service. Jerry is amazing! I had a simple issue with my brakes that could've become a major issue down the road and he took care of it right there. I am leaving the country soon and he understood the timeliness I needed this done so my family wasn't worrying about it while I'm not there. Stop and Ride is an awesome family environment and I couldn't have asked to be treated better (females, you know the struggle). Thank you!

Stop & Ride took the time to help us when Ford in Jefferson could not. We are from Florida and unfamiliar with the area, but the family at Stop & Ride listened and helped. 5 starts to your business and your employees! Car Went in with a check engine light ,Car came out with the same check engine light ,They are not good at diagnostics, they just checked what I thought the issue was based on my research on internet. They don t know what s going on , sadly.Take your car only if you need basic well known generic maintenance.

I've used them quite a few times and they always treat you like family. The whole team there is super friendly and really have your best interests in mind when they take care of your vehicle (plus Cindy makes a mean cookie).

Cindy and Jerry were very helpful throughout this visit. As always, they kept me informed and addressed all of my concerns. I only wish my brakes would've acted up for Jerry on his two test drives. Predictably, they started squealing like a freight train again only a mile from the shop. But, at least I know I've got plenty of pad material to last a while longer, and can save a few dollars for now. That's assuming the squealing and pulsating doesn't drive me crazy first. LOL

Stop n Ride is the only place in Jefferson that we trust their work and gets the job done quickly! We had to drop off our car unexpectedly 2 days before leaving for a trip. Phillip went above and beyond to make sure it was finished so we wouldn't miss a minute of our trip. He even offered to stay late to make sure the job was completed satisfactory. Thanks Phillip and team! Your hard work is greatly appreciated!

If this place gives you an exorbitant estimate for a laundry list of repairs, do yourself a massive favor and get a second opinion. I was in transportation 34yrs and still hold an endorsed class A CDL. This place: real patronizing and condescending customer service, treated me like "gal w/o a clue". Told me I needed more work and parts than was necessary, to the tune of $1500.They also could not fix it until 4 days later and it would take 2 days.Same day, I called a mechanic friend in Duluth, who told me get to the shop @ 8:00am and we'll have you out the same day. The work estimate @ the Duluth location was $1221.15....?! That's a $278.85 difference.Stop & Ride is located in Jefferson, GA. I can go to Metro Atlanta and pay hundreds of dollars less.Also, I had the oil changed/tire rotation a few months ago. Shortly after, I performed a routine inspection on my vehicle to discover the oil a quart low.Steer clear of this establishment.

I strongly suggest Stop & Ride to anyone in need of automotive services. Cindy and Robert are exceptional individuals whom I highly recommend asking for when you drop off your vehicle. They possess outstanding personalities, and most importantly, they are honest to work with. I appreciate their detailed explanations when it comes to diagnosing issues with my vehicle. Additionally, I love the fact that they always keep me updated on the progress of my car. They offer the best customer service I have ever experienced, and I wouldn t trust anyone else with my car but for them.Service: Brake service & repair

When I walk in, I feel like family . That s just how much they care. Cindy, Phillip, Sophie, Robert, Jerry & Greg all go above and beyond to make sure everything is done right and it s done to the highest standard. My parents were in town weekend and their car messed up- Phillip & Jerry spent a few hrs of their Saturday trying to fix the problem so my parents would be safe driving back home to TN. I m forever grateful for everyone at Stop N Ride for all their care

If I could give them 10 stars I would. I want to personally thank Gregg. I was traveling from Tennessee to Georgia to visit my dad. On my way down my suv started acting up. I found the shop and talked with Gregg who got me fixed up the next day. By the way this happened on a Thursday afternoon. Fixed right and very affordable by Friday afternoon. Everyone was extremely polite and veri knowledgeable. Can't recommend enough.. Thank you guys again.

Jerry always provides excellent service for our truck. He is super knowledgeable and helpful and resolves any issues promptly and efficiently. He definitely goes the extra mile! We won't use any company but Stop and Ride to work on our vehicles. Highly recommend Stop and Ride and especially Jerry!

This has to be the most honest, hardworking place in the US... I had a GREAT experience getting my oil changed there before and they took great care of me and was honest, quick, easy come, easy go... Jerry also recommended that I get new lug nuts for a better fit. This last time I had a rather larger issue and when most places would've seen $$$$$$$ Stop & Ride saw how do we take care of our customer! I swear that Jerry guy LOVES what he does, and what he does is serve! He takes care of his customers like his own FAMILY! The truck got fixed in a timely manner, came in under budget! I will be getting everything that they do done there! Jackson Co. is blessed to have this business!!

Cannot praise this business enough! They checked my tires when the light came on one morning. The next day, same thing but they found a nail in a place where they could not patch it. Had me in and out in an hour. So thankful they are close to me!

They have ways been pleasant to deal with. Get you in and out and check on all fluids, tire pressure and rotate tires. Glad they are so close by.

Very friendly and very honest about what was going on with my expedition. Put in a new transmission in three days and test drove it before giving it back to me! Will definitely use again!
