Spikes is the best! I m a single mom of two teens and Spike and his team take care of all our cars. I trust them implicitly and have always been more than satisfied. They make using my car warranty a breeze too! I d be lost without them!PS before you buy a car, get them to inspect it. Otherwise you ll end up like me with 1,000 Jeep repairs!

I brought my car in for an intermittent problem and they really gave it their best try but my car was not giving them any answers, so after a week I took my car home. That day it finally gave me a code so I called and they told be to bring it right back in! They were able to find the problem and fixed it! I just brought it home yesterday, but so far so good. I love Spike's! I've been going to them for a few years now and they are always so quick to get me in and fix the problem (this last time was a special case). I also love how they explain to me in detail so I can make the best decision and give me options based on my needs and budget. They were honest and gave me options to throw at this last problem, but told me that it still might not solve the problem. They never pressure me into unnecessary work and as someone who knows the bare minimum about my car, it is nice to know that I don't have to worry about being taken advantage of! Spike and his crew are the best! I recommend them to anyone I can! Thank you so much, Spike!!

The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful when we brought our van in for service. The free full inspection brought things to life that weren't even on our radar and we were able to prioritize work that had to be completed over work that could wait. We greatly appreciate the honesty and respect we received on what needed to be done! So pleased. Responding to the 'mailer' was a very good decision on my part. I've had two somewhat major service needed this past 2 months. Both times have resulted in fast, quality service and workmanship from everyone. As a first time customer of Spike's Auto Repair I was really impressed when I got my vehicle worked on last week. All of the employees were very knowledgeable and they went into great detail carefully explaining and showing me what my car needed. The owners were very nice and their online appointment system worked great. I will definitely be a returning customer.

Spike's is Veteran-owned, that was my first plus. Secondly I went there to get my ,2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee front brakes replaced, due to grinding sounds. Jay, very knowledgeable and friendly, slowly explained Everything wrong with my Jeep, complete with pics! I know my vehicle is old, but I was impressed by their thoroughness on what I need to be aware of possible failures. I only had the the front brakes fixed this time, at a reasonable price for new rotors and brake pads. Once they start the job you are out in no time. Now I know what needs to be repaired to keep my 2004 for a few more years! Thank you Jay and Adam for a pleasant experience at a car shop cause none of us like to go there!

PLEASE before you use these guys, do some research. Diagnostics process was good and the cost of labor seems reasonable, but the cost of parts is insane! They wanted to charge me $207.28 for some parts that I was able to get directly from the dealership for $26.84. I understand there's a markup for parts for every shop but WOW! They also wanted double charge me for little things like bolts so I don't know what that was all about. I'm not telling you not to use them but do some research prior to committing.

We consistently receive good service from Spike's Auto Repair. Sarah is pleasant and friendly, and the mechanics give honest and practical assessments of problems. They have serviced three of our vehicles over the last year; the first time scheduling a tow for us.

The Spike's Team did it again! I took my much loved and very high mile Tacoma to them last week and asked for a full inspection, wanting to know every possible thing that could go wrong. In less than 2 hours, I received a detailed evaluation (complete with PICTURES!) of each issue they found. Jay, my service adviser, had ordered the items in terms of both safety and importance, and when we talked, advised me as if the truck was his.As a result, many of the issues were corrected, and some left to monitor for future evaluation.Jay and Adam both did an excellent job of keeping me informed throughout the process, and Jay and the Team had my truck ready before I said I needed it back!This is my second experience with this Team and I will be back. the communication is clear and transparent, and the pricing fair. Their timing was better than estimated.Thanks again to the Spike's Team for an excellent experience!

Scheduled me an hour after calling. Sarah very cordial and pleasant.Service time was very good.Almost always been able to get a free tire rotation when getting an oil change.I knew this tire rotation was not included but was surprised it was full price ($30.00) rotation charge when getting an oil change

Went in with great expectations. Left with a vehicle that runs worse then i dropped off. Left off multiple bolts to the intake. Drove 30 mph compared to the 40 when i dropped it off. After declining work on my car they failed to put it back together. There's probably more wrong with it then they can diagnose and more than I can pay. They was nice though.

This place stands by its word. They will fix it. Amazing communication. They even send pictures of the issues and give you the broken pieces at the end. I have spent way too much time in dealerships having an ac issue resolved for over a year. I brought my vehicle to Spikes and they had a resolution and it fixed within a few days. Grateful for their commitment for customer service. My opinion about dealerships has changed. I will be bringing my vehicles for all services to Spikes. The prices are reasonable. We took a truck we were considering purchasing there for an inspection. Spike was very thorough and explained everything in great detail. We were very pleased and felt much better about our purchase.They are also very fair on pricing. I'll be driving an hour north to have all my vehicles serviced there.

I had a great experience getting my car repaired at Spike's they were thorough and professional. Not only did they assess my problem they did an inspection of the car and made some recommendations, but there was no sales push to pressure me into any repairs beyond what I came in for.

Great local auto shop in Jefferson with international knowledge! I have a Mercedes and a Jeep. The owner is a master mechanic for MB and there is another technician that is a master mechanic for Jeep. Bingo! I always know that my cars will be done right the first time.Spikes is efficient, trustworthy and highly knowledgeable. The staff is super nice and so fun. I take my card there for absolutely everything. From diagnostics to oil changes to brakes and transmission. They are awesome! Sarah is so fun too!

Two days before the Thanksgiving Holiday, My car breaks down in the pouring rain, approx 200 yards from two auto repair shops.One of them tells me They gotta call a tow Truck.SPIKES Auto,sends their staff out to push my car into their service pit.ARE YA KIDDING ME!No...I'm NOT!It was approx an hour before BOTH shops were closing for the day .The friendly service was JUST the start,they diagnosed my car,ordered the parts,and got me back on the road by Noon the following day!I was not only impressed with their devotion unto their customers but I was also relieved to see them explain in FULL detail what It would take to fix it,WITHOUT trying to gouge me with unnecessary cost to turn a profit .They found a couple other things that would present a problem in the future with my car,and I'm setting an appointment for them to handle those things as well!Professional,concise,honest and highly skilled they are!I would recommend SPIKES Auto to the entire World.This kind of service is quite Rare now a days..

Did a good job locating an oil leak that was due to another location s faulty oil filter. Identified the problem and fixed it, and charged me less than what was initially quoted.They give you photos of the problem and take you down a step by step system that allows you to pay for repairs as they go and stop at any time so you can come get your vehicle without hidden last minute well we just went ahead and also fixed this.. kind of charges. Will be back.

Based on my interaction with Spike's Auto Repair I feel that they are swindlers. My sister-in-law took her 2008 PT Cruiser for diagnosis of a skip at idle and the Check Engine light was on, and an intermittent oil pressure light was coming on. My sister-in-law was given an estimate of almost $2000. All for parts that have just been installed a few months ago.I talked at length with the service writer Sarah at Spike's Auto Repair. I asked them why $2000 parts when they just replaced a few months ago. Timing belt water pump and belts were just done in March by another shop. I personally replaced the sparkplugs, plug wires, and coil pack in September. I told them I am an ASE certified mechanic and worked in garages until the mid 80s and switched to IT support. Sarah put the mechanic Jay on the phone. Explained to him that we needed a pinpoint diagnosis for the skip at idle as I don t have the advance equipment to diagnose the issue.Told him that if he thought the number one sparkplug was bad, had he tried another one? No, he had not. So, he is to replace one spark plug and see if that resolves the issue. Also explained to him that that the oil light is coming on intermittently, and according to PT Cruiser forums, the oil pressure sending unit is known for doing this, and could he replace it.So when my sister-in-law went to pick up her car, the story now changes that they switched the spark plugs around and it still has the skip at idle, and they say she needs a new engine. Nothing was done about the intermittent oil pressure light coming on. She paid $160 and the issues were not even diagnosed. They seem to be part installers and not diagnosticians. Avoid this shop.

Stays in contact with you, quality work. Fast and gets it done. Only downfall, I think their prices could be better. Pretty expensive on labor and parts.

So grateful to spikes! My son had a small wreck and messed up his car and they quickly got it all fixed up and him back on the road! Very friendly and quick! I couldn't have asked for any better as far as customer service! Communication was excellent! Great service all around!!
