I was in a tight spot and they were able to analyze my car issue and got me back in the race in a very reasonable time and a very reasonable price. These guys are great. I recommend and would go back again.

I m buying a 2013 Prius that s always been serviced at Crenshaw, and all the receipts look great. I have a 2010 Prius to sell so I took it there too. They did all the work on it for less than another shop wanted. So now I m able to sell the 2010 Prius. Super excited to save some money because I probably won t get it back when I sell it.Thanks Crenshaw!!

I first started out using them for a water pump. After three weeks I decided to stop over to check on my car all the windows were down keys in console in plain sight no one was there they were close down for the day. And it had started to rain. Thank God I stop over there no telling the damage my car would have been. My car is not old and it very well maintained (2016 Ford Explorer sport) Got my keys and lock my car. Then finally got my car back and now a check engine light is on and it running horribly. Took it back and they telling me the buster packs needed change so they had it another week and half. Got it back with the check engine light still on and now the AC don t work. Took my car back over and kept Calling them and they kept telling they call back never got a phone call all day on Friday and another weekend gone without a answer and no car! Now they think it might be a compressor. So who knows what else they will come of with. Over 3000.00 dollars and almost six weeks maybe they replace most of the problem. Who knows at this point. So now they bill us more money and they are not sure if it fix the problem bill over 200.00 more. Do not use them they don t seam to know how to repair a car. Bad experience. After the review they called me and wanted to discuss the review. NO ONE COULD CALL BEFORE THE REVIEW! I PUT THE REVIEW OUT FOR EVERYBODY TO SEE and I get a phone call Pretty amazing. Car still not running right no air and they got another 200.00 dollars. People stay away from this place! They can bill you and the problem and it is still the same. Customer service not here! They are Just concerned about payment. I would love to support a good local company, at this point I don t feel like this is a place for people in this community needs to support.NOW THEY RESPONDED

I had did some work on my own vehicle , changed out the distributor and did not have the tools or knowledge to set the timing my self. It was on a Friday and after business hours but I saw that the bay doors were still open so I pulled in and asked if he was still open he first said no that I needed to come back on Monday. I said ok and briefly explained what I needed done and I was worried about driving over the weekend with the timing out. He said go on and pull it over to the bay doors and he got his tools and set my timing and it didn't take but a few min and when he was done I asked him what I owed him and he said nothing . I told him I needed some more stuff done so I will take my truck back there when the time comesService: Auto engine diagnostic

Worst experience we ever had with getting our vehicle repaired! Never again. Six weeks of lies by the mechanic including but not limited to:Getting divorced (made horrible comments to us about his wife)Problem with his fatherSome problem with brother or brother in law so couldn t workCrimped the head gasket when putting it on so have to get another oneAbscessed toothInjured and took trip to the ERHe leaked antifreeze in to the exhaust and had to fix itProblem with the radiator and looking for a used one(mind you we told him not to bother because we couldn t afford to replace the radiator so he said it would be no charge for our inconvenience )Couldn t get radiator deliveredBad radiator had to get another oneCrimped the head gasket again while installing so have to replace it againIn between all of these excuses kept getting calls saying we could pick it up in the afternoon or next morning. Just before we would get there we would get a call saying not ready because of one of the excuses listed above. I even missed work to go pick it up only to be told it is not ready just before time to meet him at the shop. I started expecting the call every day with a new lie.Only after a threat of involving the law did we get a call it was ready. Didn t make it 4 miles before it broke down and had to get a tow truck to get it home. Waiting on the tow truck to arrive we see liquid pouring out from the the truck which turns out to be brake fluid where the line has been busted. There was no leak before we drove it to Crenshaw s.This is an older used truck so we expect issues but we don t expect it to be in worse shape after being repaired then before.We do expect honesty from the person we are dealing with and not getting that was the worst part.

I came here to get my brake booster replaced. It was not properly installed from the get go and my brake pedal would get stuck and it caused my brake light switch to burn out. I had to pay to have the switch replaced, I took my car back to Crenshaws to have it properly serviced. Once I brought it back I received no compensation for the issue/bill they caused and the brake booster was still improperly installed. I had the same exact issue immediately after leaving their premises as before I showed up. They did nothing to fix it. This was my dream car and this brake booster issue made me so upset and I felt helpless, so I sold my dream car. The people I sold the car to immediately experienced brake failure the same day. Crenshaws refused to offer any sort of compensation or take responsibility. Someone COULD HAVE DIED because of this negligence. No exaggeration. THE BRAKES WENT OUT COMPLETELY BECAUSE OF THIS. I have never been outraged enough to leave a poor review, but if I could leave 0 stars I would. I hate leaving this because they were very pleasant to talk to but the absolute WORST service I ve ever received on a vehicle. VERY DISAPPOINTED.Service: Brakes

A small family-owned/operated shop, conveniently located. You can tell how well liked this facility is by the number of cars there for service. I have used them for all repairs since moving to this area and am highly satisfied with the quality, timing, and price of their services. Very nice to work with and very reasonable. They did an extensive amount of investigation to determine the problem with the airbag light on my Mazda6, made a trip to acquire the special part, but charged only the book rate for the actual repair. I am taking my Cadillac to them next week for a new battery and to resolve a rough engine issue.

I would recommend Crenshaw automotive over any place around north Georgia they are awesome. They do really great work so go out and see them they are amazing!!

Very happy to give Crenshaw Automotive five stars. They completed the work in a timely manner and at a fair price. I was treated kindly all the way from the manager to the guys in the shop itself. I really like the entire team. I highly recommend them.

I would give them a -5 if possible. We had been taking out cars here for years when we had a problem but never again. Took our truck up there to get it diagnosed with what was wrong. The mechanic (Bill) says its a blown head gasket and he will fix it for a cash discount if we pay up front from the shop for $400 for cheaper. He says he doesn't like how money hungry the shop owner is. So he gets our truck and our money. For the next 6 weeks he gives us a constant stream of excuses and lies about why the truck isn't finished by when he says it would be. Over and over again saying it will be done tomorrow then calling tomorrow about why it isn't done.We finally go up there and threaten to get the police involved for fraud and theft since he obviously wasn't doing anything on the truck and just took our money. Well surprisingly he calls us a couple days later saying the truck is finished. We drove the truck to Crenshaw's with it running and working breaks, it aas just acting funny and running hot. We get it back six weeks later and don't even make it five miles before the truck completely dies and won't start again, and now there is a bad leak in the break lines.This was the second time they have screwed us over with the last time creating an issue with the oil in my parents car and also messing up the AC (including forgrtting to put the belt back on until my parents mentioned the AC not working when talking about the truck. A good few months later). Do not take your business here. You will get screwed over and your car will end up in worse shape than when you started.

I was in town for business when my car died.... I had enough momenum to pull into this establishment. I was 3 1/2 hours from home, and needless to say, very upset. I was treated with sympathy and respect, and was told they'd do the best they could for me, as quickly as possible. My transmission had died, and not only were they able to fix my car in less than a week, it came in under the original estimate! A special THANK YOU to anyone who worked on the NC Journey with all the stickers on it!!! The car is working perfectly!I wish I lived closer- all my car needs would be serviced here!!!

I noticed my alternator beginning to fail so I elected to have it replaced before it became a problem. It became a bigger problem anyway as they installed it incorrectly and the bolts holding it in place came out and knocked the alternator around causing it to shred my serpantine belt. They honored the warranty but after this experience I would have rather been able to take it somewhere else.1. When I called to ask about my car, the woman who answered was very rude and failed to call me and tell me my car was ready.2. My friend helped me deal with it and they were rude to him and tried to talk about payment after my car had been towed there and they accepted fault.3. They said no damage was caused to my vehicle or the alternator but they put in a brand new one anyway despite the alternator being perfectly fine. I do not think that is true.4. The person who recommended them to me apologized as the work they did for him has caused lasting damage to his vehicle.5. I am not comfortable driving my car knowing they have done more work on it now and I am a nervous wreck everytime I hear any kind of noise.6. If a different shop hadn't looked at it first and caught their mistake I do not think they would have accepted blame.

Beware!!!!!! Keep everything and take notes of names, dates and times, trust that you will need it!!!!! I m now paying the price because I didn t have enough proof. I misplaced the receipt given to me. The only thing I had was a check written to an employee and signed on the back by the employee and a Crenshaw. Excuse the employee did not have a bank account and the check was cashed for him . Stated, I had made a side deal with the employee. He had no record of the repair and the employee no longer worked for him . Not to mention the damage to my vehicle while on shop property and what happens to a vehicle after sitting for 9 months. If not one thing - a half dozen other things. Caution.Reply to your response Eric: I was not going to bring this up to the public, but since you did. As stated above, the work was done at the shop and that is why my vehicle sat on your property for nine months. Truth be told, your step-father (Bill) is the deceiving and dishonest employee. All you had to do is ask him. Not be illusive for 6 weeks and not follow through on your word, put me off and state everything I said was not truthful. As I already stated to you on the phone I m not arguing anymore. I encourage everyone who has had an issue to make the public aware.

worst place I have ever delt with all they do is say what you wanna hear oh it will be in next week two weeks later nothing oh it will be in next week 4 weeks later nothing. call owner no answer call both shops nothing so all my friends that knew my classic car was there about three months now know to stay far away. it's a shame you wanna sink 10,000 in a car and there just letting it sit there oh and best part is someone took a nice door panel emblem off and I ask what happen I will review my security taps well that was two weeks ago so I guess he misplaced his taps. and when I try to post my opinion he calls for tgere first time and says come get your car and parts they will be on the side of the road. so there's my experience with his place.

This was my fave place when the owner was on board and available to ask questions,now that hes at woodstock shop,i find the quality of service in jasper shop has dropped. I needed a correct and thorough diagnostic,found problems after they told me it was needing a fuel pump assembly,i replaced it as recommended on work order,then found issue of broken parts relative to fuel delivery that went un noticed. Ill try the new guys in town and hope they are up to the job of getting me mobile again.

If I could give negative five stars - I would!!They just flat out lied to us every time we called to check on our vehicle. They kept our vehicle for almost a full month and we ended up picking it up incomplete. I try to support small businesses in my community but this one needs to go back to Woodstock!!

Update - The manager with whom I had issues no longer works here. These folks are good, honest hard working and knowledgeable people that deserve your business. I highly recommend them!***Update!Since my post of a year ago, the manager has been replaced.
