great place to buy a car! locally owned by great people and with good small town values. you'd be hard pressed to find any used car dealer as dedicated and professional as Appalachian Auto. Fantastic service and attention to detail! you will not regret going. These folks helped me get back on my feet after i lost my father and moved cross country back to Jasper to help care for my disabled mother. Great people, great vehicles, and FANTASTIC deals. Do yourselves a favor and give them a shout if you're needing some new wheels! I will definitely be recommending them to anyone i know looking for a reasonably priced, dependable, used vehicle. Thank you folk's again! God bless yall!

It has no option to pick ZERO STARS! This place may have worked for some but it hasn't worked at all for us! They seen sucker when my son went up & purchased NOT 1 BUT 2 LEMONS FROM THEM!! Bought on a Thursday wasn't driven til Friday when insurance was put on them! I HAD TOLD MY SON NOT TO DEAL WITH THEM I HAVE HEARD SO MANY BAD THINGS ABOUT THE VEHICLE'S THEY SALE! It was true over priced no cash discount only 1 set of keys. So we now have 1 that's blown something for oil to be leaking it was towed on that Friday & the other the CATALYTIC CONVERTER is shot no good making CYLINDERS over heat!! SO RUN I MEAN RUN AWAY FROM THIS PLACE ITS A SCAM WAITING TO HAPPEN!!

My husband and I have been searching for a replacement vehicle since August, due to his truck being totalled. We finally come across, online, a vehicle that suits our family and budget on Tuesday. My husband immediately goes to Appalachian Auto Brokers to look and test drive the vehicle. He tells the gentleman that he wants it, asks what he needs to do so it doesn't get bought out from under him. He told the gentleman that he would be there Thursday with cashier check in hand and said he could put a cash deposit down or whatever was needed. The gentleman declined, explained that the vehicle needed a sensor and it wouldn't be ready until then and printed my husband a bill of sale, which he thought sealed the deal. Finally a heavy burden was lifted! However, Thursday morning, my husband receives a call telling him that the vehicle was now indeed sold by his wife to someone else that put down a deposit. I understand to them it was just another vehicle sold, but to our family it was going to be the end of an exhausting search and no longer having just one vehicle for a family of 7. Either this is a business where their employees are incompetent and don't communicate or their word means nothing and make deals they don't intend to fulfill.

We bought a vehicle from these sweet people a few months ago. It's a great family run business and they were wonderful. Very sweet and professional. Bought a 2008 Honda Pilot and drove it to visit my sister in Delaware. No problems! Great vehicle! Great business. Will use again.

My experience was not all bad . They did fix the bad CV Joint. However the second day I drove the car the change oil started flashing. I checked the oil it was a full quart low . When I popped the hood it was quite obvious the windshield washer nozzle was broken . The windshield washer did not work when I test drove it . I assumed it was out of fluid . When I checked the oil I looked and saw the fluid low . It is the radiator reservoir that was low the washer fluid was full . The washer pump is out. I highly recommend you go some where else to buy a use vehicle. If you do buy one from them go over it with a fine tooth comb . I have never seen these things with any used car lot I have ever dealt with in the past. This is all my fault for trusting. .

I recently purchased a 2011 Dodge Journey Mainstreet from them back in November 2019. The initial experience we had with these people was honestly nice. We took the car for a test drive and had some concerns about a noise we heard coming from the back end and the gentleman we spoke to about it just explained it away as road noise from tires that had been worn unevenly. Excellent customer service and we were so excited to finally have a vehicle after several months of looking and these people made everything so easy. We even purchased an extended warranty for good measure. HOWEVER, after about a month of having this vehicle, we began hearing a noise on the front end. We took it to a mechanic who then told us that there was a hole in the transmission pan and 3 out of 4 of the motor mounts were busted. Thankfully the transmission had previously been rebuilt and AAB had gotten a year warranty on it, so they took it back to be repaired. When my husband spoke on the phone with AAB, they told us that the motor mounts would not be covered and went into the logistics of how that was not on them, quoting GA laws, etc. Every time we have contacted these people, it was like they were completely different people than the ones that sold us the vehicle. NO COMPASSION, NO INTEGRITY!! The warranty that was supposed to cover most things did not cover the motor mounts. FINE, we then had them repair them anyway and paid the difference. Less than a week after this, myself and my 2 children were headed to a Christmas party and we got about 10 miles down the road and all of a sudden, we heard a loud boom and it sounded like the whole back end was coming apart. We took it once again to the mechanic and was told that the entire back end went completely out. He tried to drain the oil out and only metal pieces fell out. It was so badly damaged that he thought it was going to fall on his head when he put it on the lift. We had the back end completely replaced and the mechanic told us that there were 2 different tire sizes on the vehicle and that's what caused the rear end to go out because of it being an all-wheel-drive. Also, there was an oil leak coming from a head gasket that would need to be repaired. The warranty was supposed to make it to where whatever was fixed would only cost us $100. That was an utter lie. It costed us $300 for the rear end after the warranty paid part of it. We opted to wait on the head gasket repair as it was going to cost another $450. We took it to a tire shop the very next day and was told that not only did it have two different tire sizes on it but ALSO the control arms (holds tire on to car) on the front were busted. The warranty had ran out by this time, although I'm not even sure it would have covered this. The tire shop also told us that there is a recall on this car as well! The recall is on the wiring in the steering wheel that isn't properly insulated and can cause the airbag to deploy at any given time. GREAT! At this point, I'm done, I'm livid! ALSO, the other day, I heard a noise and felt a vibration coming from the front end. I took it to the shop to have them look at it and was told that ALL the motor mounts had not been replaced as we had been told. We contacted AAB and of course was told it was not their fault, they were very rude to my husband and yelled that it is OUR car now and hung up on him! After all this, you would think that it would be in a car lot's best interest to put safe vehicles on the road. I have a family and I want them riding in something that is safe! I intend to share this experience with every single person that I know. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!Motor mounts-$285Head gasket-$450Rear end-$900 but only paid $300 because of warranty covering majority of the cost, thankfully.Control Arms + 4 new tires- $1,030.Motor mounts that were not replaced to begin with-$900

Nice folks, but whoever repaired car I bought from them, lied to them about repairing it. I was told it was All wheel drive but part of the rear drive shaft was missing. The car was in such bad shape I Had to buy something else for my son to drive. Expensive lesson for my son.

Worst service ive ever seen. Owner and all of the workers gave me the wrong information about what I needed. I took multiple trips from Tennessee and still didnt get the vechicle i was looking at. They lied over the phone. I would not recommend going to this dealership. I will never go back. FIRST TIME BUYERS BEWARE!! THEY WILL TELL YOU ALL YOUR PAPER WORK IS CORRECT AND TELL YOU TO PAY FOR INSURANCE. ONCE YOU GET THERE THEY WILL NOT SELL YOU THE VEHICLE
