Emory and David took such good care of us! Our little vintage tractor has some hard parts to find, but they did it under budget and faster than I could have anticipated. Plus they were so, so nice. I never want my tractor to break down again, but if it does, I ll reach out to them, no question.

My 1984 Ford 3910 tractor developed a serious engine oil leak when under load .It was obvious to me that this would be a major repair job requiring a separation , way beyond my capabilities and not an on site repair .I did an online search for tractor repair near me and located DLS , 27 miles away in Homer.I visited their website , read their account of their operation , read the reviews and testimonials of customers , looked at pictures of work and even looked at the shop on google map satellite view.I liked what I had seen so far and called them. I spoke with Emory Payne and I soon realized I had found the right shop. Emory was knowledgeable, articulate , and helpful . We soon established a good rapport and he outlined what was the likely diagnosis and repairs to be done. He arranged the pick up and transport of the tractor without the necessity of face to face contact in respect to Covid 19 concerns and its return in the same manner when the job was done .Throughout the repair process Emory was great at communication and I always felt we were on the same page . For example , I had been thinking about what other parts we might think about checking or replacing while the tractor was split and sure enough, when he called to tell me they had the tractor separated and the suspected bad rear seal diagnosis was verified , we talked about going ahead and replacing the clutch disc which they did. There was a bit of delay while they were trying to obtain the correct clutch parts and Emory contacted me several times out of concern , again demonstrating ongoing communication and regard for their customer. My tractor once again performs perfectly. I could not be more pleased with my experience with DLS and would recommend them without reservation . Price, service, knowledge, skill and personal relations - all 5-star!Mike Johnson
