I appreciate doing business with places like this because it shows me who NOT to deal with. I went in to get my car checked out after already testing battery, alt, and starter just for them to lie and say I need a battery and an alt! Then try to charge me almost $2k! Didn t lift the car up, didn t do a thorough diagnostic, just lazy mechanics who want to take advantage of hard working people. DO NOT RECOMMEND

Great place with honest people taking care of your auto needs. I called them to check out a car I was going to purchase. Not from Hinesville, but they gave me their honest opinion. Before you buy a car from an individual with no warranty . Please spend $50 to have peace of mind. Thanks again for taking care of this Savannah girl! Kudos to all of these awesome people!

This auto repair shop is one that you might want to visit if you are having issues with you vehicle. It's first come first serve here,no appointments. I personally haven't needed work done,but am close to others that have. Nothing but praise from them. Quick turnaround on estimates and repairs. They are a trustworthy auto repair. I do recommend and hoping I won't personally need them.

IT'S A SCAM!! I went to them because my check engine light was on. They did a "tune up" for $180. I drove the car for 2 mins and went back to tell them nothing was different. The light was on, and the car was still driving weird. $1000 later, they "changed the catalytic converter." The engine light is back on only a few days later, and the car still drives weird. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. I FEEL LIKE I GOT ROBBED!!!

The absolute best auto service my money can buy!! On 4 (possibly 5) separate occasions, I've never been disappointed. Simply stated - I get whatever I'm seeking, with courtesy, & reasonable pricing. My place to go - with MY car!!

Took my car here to get my engine light fixed and 2 days later. It went back on again. They just take your money and don't fix the problem. I recommend going somewhere else because they charge you unnecessary amount of money.

Billy was so kind when I called this morning . The lady up front is amazing !!! I felt so comfortable and heard there. Chad took such great care of my car it s driving so smooth !Not over priced and got the job done . Thank you Pit stop I will recommend everyone to you

Took my car here for a simple check engine light and they temporary fixed the problem. While they charged me an arm and leg for the price. Don't go here and find a different place to get your car fixed.

Brakes, rotors and front wheel hub bearing! Car drives so much smoother now. Mark was the mechanic and very knowledgeable with explaining my wheel hub bearing to me as well as the receptionist.

Took my 1998 Chevy S10 to get an alignment here. Couple hours in they said I needed a wheel bearing. I said okay and thought it was good to go. They called and I came to pay and pick it up. I did and as I'm driving home the truck is pulling hard to the left and steering is unstable. Called and brought the truck back the next day to have them check it out. They stated "the wheels are worn that's why the steering is off". They rotated the tires and said the alignment was fine. 270 something dollars to have my truck be almost undriveable due to alignment not being done properly. Will not be returning.

I enjoy the staff a lot. I have taken my 09' Jeep in 3-4 times in the past 2 years. One was a need big fix and a few small fixes. All where not related to previous visits.They are a first come first serve, and are quick. I get my jeep back same day or the next every time except the large fix. One part needed to get perchesed.

Great service. I took my car my car in for a clutch change after months of trying to do it myself. They were upfront about the labor cost, I dropped it off on my way into work and picked up on my way home. They called me multiple times to confirm certain things that could raise the price and ended up doing a clutch, transmission fluid, and a new battery for about 100 dollars less than another shop quoted me for just the clutch. Hoping not to have anymore vehicle trouble, but I feel a lot better knowing there s a reliable Mechanic in town I can go to.

Great, upfront prices! ($65 alignment!!)They let you bring your own parts!They are FAST and do quality work!Curt is legit! I m glad to have found a great place with a mechanic I can trust!

This is the best shop in town, hands down! I've been going here for years. Unlike most shops who try to find additional things to charge you for, this shop only fixes what is necessary to get you on the road again for as cheap as possible. The work is top quality. I'll never go anywhere else.

I hate having to find an honest reliable mechanic shop every time we move. I don't know what it was that made me want to try this place, but I'm so glad I did. They're always kind, fast, and honest. I went in once because I had two tires that kept deflating. I couldn't figure out why. I took my car here to see if they could find the problem and they said they didn't see anything wrong. I asked if I should just buy new tires and instead of saying yes and selling me tires and making money, the mechanic said "well.. you could.. but I don't see anything wrong with your current tires, so you might just be wasting money." (I think someone had been deflating them at night). I was very appreciative that they told me the truth instead of putting money first. It's a great shop.

Honestly I wouldn't even give them a star for my first and LAST experience here. DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR to Pit Stop for any service. They quoted me prices by phone which the price was $187.50 for my car to have its water pumped replaced on a Friday told me to bring it Monday and its first come first serve. I dropped my car off today and the price I was quoted wasn't the price they gave me Friday they said I owed $300!!!! And I verified before I left my car with them about the price. They will rip you off quote you one price but its actually going to be higher when you pick it up! They also dont call and inform you of any extra work they do that may cost more!!! DON'T TAKE YOUR CAR HERE SAVE YOUR MONEY!!

I want to thank Chad and Bill for doing such a great job with putting on my 6 inch Rough Country lift. These guys also done an awesome job with the exhaust that I wanted on the truck as well. Amber was super nice and helpful with everything that I needed. Again, I want to thank you guys and the service was definately 5 stars. I would recommend this place to anyone.

In the past the shop has shown to be reasonable and provide quality work. Sometimes the ball can be dropped and in my case it was a major fail! I was told by three people I needed an alternator prior to getting my car towed to the shop. Upon having a diagnostic performed by Pit Stop I was told I needed an alternator and starter and recommended I get 4 new tires; fine! I value and cherish anything I own. I purchased my parts and dropped them off on my lunch break. The same evening around 550 pm I was told the car was ready; thank god so I thought! Hint: Fast jobs are not always good jobs. Less than 48 hours later I am driving home with my minor kids and I begin to hear a tap. I slow down & listen to try to see where it's coming from but I am no mechanic! I attempt to press my gas and nothing!! So I let my car coast until I see a safe exit off of the highway. As I attempt to turn off my steering wheel locks up and I almost wreck. The car begins to smoke leaving me and my kids on the side of a dark road! I call for help and to our discovery my radiator hose is completely off (not busted) with a clamp loosely on. The radiator is also empty! HOW? Long story short they failed me and now I have a blown head gasket and NO CAR! I am completely done with them after all these years the right thing would have been to make it right!

I have never been treated so well by an auto shop! My husband and I had some vehicle issues and was told it was gonna cost over $2,000 at another shop we decided we would get an second opinion at Pit Stop. We told them the entire story and they examined our vehicle and told us the real issues and pretty much the other place was trying to take advantage of us. Since then we have returned a dozen times with nothing but great things to say. I would recommend them to anyone!

Went in for service, oil change, new tires and a tune-up. After my tune-up I had problems with my car. All types of lights came on and I was on a road trip. They had problems with pulling the coils out but didn't replace them and that was the problem. Don't let them do a tune-up if you don't want to be stranded on side of the road.

Derrick They do great mechanic work, however I just picked my car up to find some fresh damage on the front bumper. As an honest person I take it up there to see what happened..unfortunately someone wasn t honest. I no for a fact it happened while in their care, I literally just bought this car. None the less I was told they didn t do it so no help/solution was offered. I m a pretty laid back person so I m not gonna cause a big scene. The person who accidentally did it knows who they are. I m sure it ll come out eventually.

Great Service always!!!! My first stop for routine maintenance and other car issues. Vast knowledge, reliable work and they will also refer you out to other reputable mechanics for work they don't cover. Great team!!!

Most services for vehicle maintenance can be addressed here within some of the best competitive rates around the Hinesville area. Rotations and alignments are done here pretty much within a few hours. Whichever tech that addressed ABS codes was not able to troubleshoot a basic problem and I had to figure it out on my own resulting in servicing my car at another shop across the street. I would take my cars here again for services, but customers must educate themselves to a degree.

Y all. I don t even have words. Brandon and I ran into a little trouble this morning when an air pump appeared to damage our valve stem of one of our tires.My tire had been having some issues leaking air for a while and we had already taken it to be looked at by another shop. After being told nothing was wrong, we ended up with a flattened tire.Robert from Pit Stop Inc saw us struggling at the gas station and jumped into action. He had us drive over to the shop and he and a few others removed my tire and found that not only had there been a nail in it for sometime but that someone had glued the valve stem shut. They patched the tire up and filled it as well as checked all of my other tires. Thank you so much Robert and the rest of the Pit Stop Inc crew!!! If y all ever need your car service, please check them out!

Great Service! I will always have my vehicle serviced at this location. Unfortunalty this time they were unable to assist me in my repair, but they were very quick and helpful on my next step. Thank You Pit stop and Amber for you amazing service during my time of need.

Out of all the service shops that I called, they were the cheapest. However, they did not lack in quality. They changed my serpentine belt, changed my oil and checked my brakes for under $150. Mind you, I was quoted elsewhere to get only my serpentine belt changed for $180 so I still saved money even though I got more services completed. They addressed the problem that I had with the car without tacking a mile high worth of pointless and unnecessary "repairs" This shop is where my family will be getting all our vehicles serviced.

I always use Pit Stop for my auto repairs and service. Bill and Chad go Above and Beyond!!This time it was an Alignment. The new equipment Bill just purchased makes all the difference in the world!! Even with the grade on the roads around here that seem to make you car pull towards the curb don't affect my car anymore even with the 22x9" tires.Thanks for another great job!~!!
