Shelby and Jam made my dream of putting my prescription into my great grandfather's glasses come true! They made sure to provide me with all of my options financially and provided an affordable option to make sure I could continue with them! They also provided me with timely care! I was in and out (with glasses) in an hour including an eye exam! I will definitely be returning!

Today was amazing I felt welcomed as soon as I stepped inside. I received an eye exam and also picked out frames. Jam assisted me even as I tried frames on.. She was patient and helped me find a price that I could afford. I would recommend Stanton Optical, especially the Hinesville location.

My experience at Stanton Optical was amazing. I got greeted immediately and got all of my questions answered. Shelby took the time to review my options with insurance to ensure I got the best price possible. If you re looking for glasses or contacts, I highly recommend this store!

Also wrote this on Yelp!I had an eye exam today and the service was great! It's been some years since I had one. To start off, Miss Jam was amazing! She was so helpful and friendly conducting my eye exam and answering all my questions, I asked her about the free exam and two pair of glasses, and I love that she told me all the details since my glasses are high index, and informed me I would be paying more even with my insurance covering partial.The exam for my vision with the doctor was done virtually. It didn't take long for the exam, but I do prefer a physical doctor, yet this one was alright. After, it was picking a pair a glasses and paying. Overall, the visit was great and I'm happy that Miss Jam and the other young lady who was there were very helpful in assisting me with picking out glasses and showing me the payment options. Definitely will be going there for future eye exams!

Shelby helped me today and she was so nice and answered all my questions and concerns, she took her time to give me her opinion with glasses. If you ever go to Stanton Optical in Hinesville be sure to ask for Jam! She was so kind and made sure to address all my needs. Her professionalism and hospitality assured me I was in good hands! Just seeing her interact with patients and staff members let me know she has been in this business for some time and is very knowledgeable. I will definitely be returning for my optical needs!

Great experience and welcoming energy from Jam! Was able to explain prices in detail and awesome helping me pick out my new glasses when she saw me struggling on my own. Received my new pair in less than 30 minutes same day. Definitely recommend!

Jam was a dream! She helped me pick 2 pairs of glasses and put me into the schedule asap when I mixed up my days. The pair came in right away! The whole office is super friendly and easy going !! Recommend them to anyone!

The staff there in Hinesville is awful! VERY RUDE! Tried doing a refund for my daughter, after they gave her such a hard time. I was told by one of the managers I needed to schedule an appointment to do a refund! When I went in the next morning, the manager as she would call herself. JAM WAS VERY UNPLEASANT, RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL! And when I asked for my daughters receipt of the refund of her glasses. I was told, No! Only my daughter had to come into the store to pick it up! When Jam turned the screen around to tell me the refund was complete. I tried to look at it she turned it away from me from seeing! So I have no clue if the refund was even done and actually having the money back to my daughters card! This place is very unprofessional and very rude to their customers! I clearly see why they don t get a lot of customers! My next step is going to the corporate office after this right here and the way my daughter and I were treated.

I recently visited this place for an eye exam. The services was very friendly and quick. I received a very friendly welcome upon arrival by Kimberly M. Whom walked me through and explained everything to me until the end of my appt. I will be back in the future.

Visit Yelp before you go here! The store manager is rude and has at totally fake personality. I won't do business here and I'll tell my family and friends to go elsewhere.I know they will give an automatic reply about how they feel bad about the experience. it's a scam to not let you take the exam through your insurance and allow the purchase to buy products elsewhere.Low Country Eye Care and GA eye institute will take VSP insurance. You can use the insurance for the exam only and buy contacts or glasses elsewhere. They will give all the prices up front.

Let me preface this by saying that everyone we interacted with on Thursday December 27 was very pleasant.Now the real truth of Stanton Optical (I pray this will help others avoid being scammed)...I made an appointment for Thursday December 27, 2023 for the Hinesville location. Do not go to this location thinking you will see a physical (in-person) Doctor (you will not). Following the appointment I picked out my frames and began the process of choosing lens options, we did choose the best lenses so that I would have a few issues as possible adjusting to wearing glasses. The price with insurance ended up being over $400, holy cow. I figured this was normal until I spoke with my daughter (who has worn glasses her entire life). She informed me this place is a scam. I began digging and found the terrible reviews buried.I decided to cancel my order the following morning. When I went in to cancel I was informed "If I choose not to purchase my glasses from them then I would have to pay full price for the eye exam, which is $99, they would not file insurance for the eye exam". Is this common practice, for Stanton Optical it is? She proceeded to tell me that I was informed of this at my appointment. I can assure you if I was I would have taken my business elsewhere. My next call will certainly to my eye insurance company to inform them of this practice.I purchased designer frames and top of the line everything for my glasses with another vision center for $157. Please avoid Stanton Optical at all costs if you value honest and affordable service and intend to use your insurance.

Joy and Shelby were phenomenal employees to work with. I walked in to change my lenses from my broken frames to a new pair, and both of these employees without question completed what I asked. With their technical expertise and knowledge of their trade I couldn't be any happier with the outcome. Thank you for properly changing my frames!

I recently came in and was assisted by Joi. She was so nice and welcoming! She made sure I was comfortable throughout my exam, and when I became indecisive about my frame decision she helped me pick out the perfect fit. Will definitely be coming back for my future eyewear needs
