This is a very basic and 3rd class gas station which is the closest to the south of High Shoals Falls and there are plenty of other stations around but this is the closest to the falls. You pay inside first then you fill the gas outside. This is also a basic convenience store which might be very helpful for the needy.

Was driving through on a near empty tank, so we stopped to get 4 dollars worth of gas to make it through Helen, I took the gas pump out and pressed "regular" and without mashing down on the lever on the pump gas just started pooring out EVERYWHERE!!! Luckily I quickly held the pump out away from me and facing away from my car so not too much got on me!! The gas did not stop flowing until I tried to put the pump back on the tank! My mom, who was in the car got out when she heard me panicking and at first she didn't know what to do so told her to go get the man in the store and tell him that the gas pump has malfunctioned! She went to run inside and nearly fell on the pavement, she got gas all over her shoes. When the guy from in the store came out to see what had happened he messed with the handle a bit and said that if the lever got stuck it was no longer stuck then told us we had $1.45 left! They didn't even offer to give us our money back and since we were so panicked over the whole thing we just used the $1.45 for a bit of gas and left as fast as we could!That was dangerous and we could have been hurt, our clothes could have been ruined, a fire could have started and now my car smells STRONGLY of gas!!! Never again will we use this gas station and with service like that and malfunctioning, out dated pumps like that I would advice others do not use this station either for their own safety!!!

I love this little store. I stop in almost every day. I enjoy the the friendliness of the employees and the willing to help when can. being someone that goes often, I ve asked for something they didn t have and they are willing to order so it would be in The store for other times.. great place!

Awesome customer service! Clerk is always very friendly and professional. I definitely feel comfortable whenever I come by this market. And I don t even feel that way at my hometown market!!

This morning, we left our campsite with one bag of trash and an empty gas tank. Keillor Sak offered the nearest fuel. We purchased $40 with of fuel, and my husband went to put trash in the dumpster. The owner of this business exited with his phone and threatened to call the police, and he did. There surely are many more-deserving people in Helen to which we can give our business.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would! We have been in this store to buy bait and old style bottled drinks before. Our cabin isn t too far from this place. Today we rode through Helen and we were going to stop in but passed the first entrance so we pulled into the second that was roped off that said no turn around . Some older guy that runs the store, runs out of the store saying that it wasn t a turn around yelling and cussing my husband out with my child in the jeep! My husband apologized nicely and the man kept yelling. At that point my husband said we live up here and came here to get our bait, but we will never do that again . The guy then says, good! I don t need your business you (insert ugly name he called my husband) . This guy is rude, inconsiderate of children, horrible customer service, need some anger management, and a mouth that needs a good rinsing with soap!! We will tell everyone we know to avoid this place.

I stop here on my bike frequently. The lady behind the counter is always friendly to me. Good drink choices as well.

Nice people and have what you need when you need it. BOTH Stations are great one in downtown HELEN and the other just north on your way to HIAWASSEE.

This store is a joke, rude employees, high gas prices and it's dirty, if you're on your way to Helen, skip this place and go into town.
