They had the longer tubing tour for the same price. We enjoyed it so much, we did it twice. The staff was helpful and friendly. The lady at the register recommended a stick and I am glad we got it. The river was low so the stick was a big help getting me down the river. Kids (age 5) up to grandparents (60+) really enjoyed the experience. They had lifejackets available too. The weekdays were perfect because there were less tubers in general.

Did the 2 hour tube ride. Super fun. Be sure to check the river level before you go. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Buy the stick!!!The only down side is the amount of tubers! We went when they first opened. There were about 10 ppl who put in at the same time. About an hour in is the launch for the other tubing company. And that's when it got crowded. Like bumper cars at one point. All and all fun activity and would recommend on a hot day.

We did the tubing on the river. I can say that it is something I checked off my bucket list. I can't swim so I wore a life jacket as some spots were deep while others were very, very low. Those low areas were difficult to navigate across as I got stuck numerous times on rocks. I would say it was more of a work out than just a leisure stroll down the river. Definitely ensure you buy the 5.00 stick cause you will need it. Took me 3 hours to get all the way down the river. Was a good experience but I don't know if I would do it again.

The employees are very friendly and helpful. They have a general store that sells most things needed for the park. I paid $18.75 for me and $13.75 for my 4 year old (or anyone under 42 inches). Everyone gets a wristband to wear and the price is for the entire day so you can leave and come back. They are open from 9am to 5pm. They have a very large covered playground for kids and a concession stand as well. The only issue for me is that you have to go down a lot of steps to get to the water and to get to the bathrooms you have to go back up those steps and down another set that is off to the side. The lazy river was our favorite thing to do.

You know how, as a parent, sometimes you want to take your kid to a theme park-type place, but don't want to spend ALL day there? This is that kind of place. We arrived around 1130 am on a Thursday, and it was a total ghost town. We had to drive around a few times and peer over the fence to make sure all the slides were operating and that it was, in fact, open. We didn't bother buying tickets in advance as the price was more or less the same at the ticket booth, and we were only able to apply a military discount at the ticket booth. Unfortunately, the slow wifi meant we were waiting in line for what felt like forever.A few notes about the park: It's small. I think with little kids, this works out fine because, as mentioned above, some days you just don't want to spend 8 hrs at a waterpark. If you're under 42", I honestly wouldn't bother. Kids under 42" can use the lazy river, and kids 3 and under can play at a little playground, but that's it. There's a sort of mushroom water spray feature that littles can play in, but it's at the entrance of the lazy river, so lots of people are coming and going. Life jackets are available I'm infant and youth sizes, which is helpful because the pools the slides dump into are 48" deep and if your kid is 42" and still learning to swim (though there are lifeguards that assist the little kids), it can be a bit dicey. There are essentially two types of slides and two of each type. There's a slide you go down on a mat and a tube slide that you go down on a doubles tube. Add a lazy river, and that's the extent of the water park. As mentioned, it's small. On the plus side, there's hardly any wait time on the slides so you can go over and over relatively quickly, which, again, is great for impatient little kids. One area that could use improvement was the bathrooms and changing areas, which are very dated and not the cleanest I've experienced. I'd rate it maybe a C+. Also, they don't let you bring in any food or water (I did see a water fountain, though), but they didn't check our bags either. You can come and go as you please as long as you have a wristband, and there's ample picnic tables right outside the front of the building if you want to bring a cooler of food. There's also a small concession stand on site.Overall, we spent about 3 hrs here with our 5yos and had a fun time. I think about $15 for adults and $10 for kids (regardless of height) would be about the right price point given the size of the park and how long we spent there (definitely wouldn't spend the entire day), but $18 for anyone 42" and over wasn't too bad either.

I wish I could break up the tubing and the Waterpark into two reviews. The tubing deserves 5 stars, while the Waterpark 3 in my opinion. You definitely get your money worth with the tubing down the river, but you should know it is long...especially if you have children with you. It can also be very strenuous as it is easy to get stuck on the rocks. Buying or bringing a push stick is really important because of the many rocks. For multiple floats you can strap them together, but it does make it harder to navigate the rougher areas. They do have life jackets available for free, and the walk to the bus from the Waterpark is fairly short. As far as the Waterpark goes, it is essentially a large (nice) lazy river and a few large slides. No pools or other type of activities. Even my 5 year old commented on how small it was when we arrived. The staff wasn't the friendliest. Thankfully we were there when volume was low because I imagine it would be miserable if really busy. Once again, if you just want to float in the lazy river or go down slides it would be enjoyable. For anything else go elsewhere.

This park is awesome for the price. There are two fully enclosed tube slides and two open slides plus a lazy river. My family of 3 got in for $50 the on site concession stand was fairly priced and had food you would expect (nachos, hamburger, hotdog, etc...). For all you big fellas, I am 6ft 6in and 400lbs and I went on the enclosed tube slide a ton of times and had a blast.

It was fun. Make sure your kid is at least 42 inches tall to ride slides. If not they can at least enjoy the lazy river tubing or the 3 story indoor playground.Price for entry: $18.00

$20 gets you unlimited access to all slides, lazy river, rock climbing (which was closed the day we went. Employee said it's only open a few days a week. Lost a Star for that), and River tubing. A sweet way to beat the sun while in Helen.

This was a great day for tubes. The water was nice and cold. The family had fun today. The water park area was cool and the staff was great.

Went on the Friday before Labor Day, and it was sooo quiet! We were on the river in no time (no wait). This is a great inexpensive (but long) attraction, that lets you peacefully get to enjoy the river and see the buildings and sights of Helen from a new perspective. Definitely worth going!A few things to note:- If you aren't going to the Waterpark, don't park at the main building. There is parking at the beginning and end of the trip, with a shuttle bus. If you do park at the Waterpark, it's only a block or so to the shuttle bus.- Buy a stick, especially if you are not tethered to anyone. Because the river is low you will get high centered on rocks. With two people tethered together, we rarely had to get out to get free because we kind of sling shotted each other down the river. But if you are alone or in a very large group, you may need a stick.- Be aware of wildlife. We had no issues, but others had seen bears along the river.

First of all, there are a lot of people and all parking are packed. To find the parking, you have to spend hours so if you planing to go certain time, you may want to go early and park the car and walking around. The place was nice but there was nothing special about it. The river seems big but it s still July, water level was low.

What a great time on the river! For $10! Of course, you need to bring your own stick for pushing you off the rocks, or buy one here for $5. We chose this company because their tubes have a headrest, while the other company did not, hence you're holding your neck up the whole time which is not comfortable. Also Helen Tubing takes you on a good length of river. Takes about 2 hours. We will do it again!

We had so much fun tubing! I do wish the directions were more clear on where to go for the tubing start. We drove to the address listed on the website and it's the tubing end/water park area. The tubing start address wasn't even listed on our tickets we bought online. It's over 2 miles down the road. When driving back through heavy traffic, this was frustrating. I hope that they do make it a little more clear in the future for first timers like us!The address for tubing start is 9917 GA-75 Helen, Georgia 30545.I do recommend going earlier in the day because it can get pretty crowded. We waited in line to shuttle back to our car for over an hour- it was fine because it wasn't too hot of a day and we expected it to be busy.Make sure to buy your tickets online and you can skip the long line of people waiting to purchase tickets. It rained a lot a couple days before so the river was really flowing!

Not too expensive. Great place for some family fun in the water. The slides are fun for both young and old!! It isn't very busy on the weekdays, which is why we came on a Monday.

We had so much fun. It was July 5th and super busy. The water was not high from what others that had gone before told us. Our float was nearly 2 hours. It did start to rain 2/3 way through but we were already wet. We did not do the waterpark.I highly recommend a push stick and water shoes. Also took a waterproof phone case. They have lots of restrictions on what you can take so leave bags in the car.You will take a shuttle between offices so you can park at either office or the waterpark.

Just 1.5 miles away from Atlanta, Helen GA offers a quick day trip for anyone seeking a wet getaway (pause). Very very fun, especially on the perfect day. The water on the river was surprisingly COLD for such a HOT day! Plus I love how the river is covered with overhanging trees, making the tube ride shady. For the most part it was relaxing. There were some unexpected drops causing the tube to flip over 2 or 3 times but everyone survived We even set up shop outside of the park at one of the grill stations. There were ample garbage cans so the area was relatively clean. We will definitely be back!

Went tubing for the first time and had great experience. It was a great family experience. Word of note, get the stick! We got stuck on the rocks so many times so it is very helpful.

Great place for a hot summer family outing. The water is always cool. There is usually 100's of people to bump your inertube into. We go every year at least once, or more. Helen is beautiful. Lots of shops and restaurants. Lots of variety. On the weekends the travel through Helen can take a while. There is always a bunch of Harley Davidsons cruzing through. Beer fest amd October fest. I definitely recommend going and floating the top of the chattahoochee river. God bless.

This is very fun for children and very safe. Mostly ankle deep water. For people like me (more to love) it can be quite difficult as you weigh down the tube and get stuck very easily. I would recommend making sure you enjoy tubing before trying this one. This is an over 2 hour course. You will have fun if you enjoy tubing!!!

When in Helen, you will need to schedule time to go on a relaxing tubing trip! The trip is usually 2-3 hours. You can park in one of the parking lots nearby and you ll be bussed to the drop off point and given a tube. You ll need a stick to help get you over any large rocks in the river. It s a lot of fun for the whole family!! The river itself is mostly shallow. Enjoy!

We visit several times every summer! The trip is fun! The service is good. They keep the bathrooms clean. It get VERY busy VERY quick. On a Saturday we always get there as soon as they open, 9am. This allows us a peaceful trip down the river and you get out just in time for lunch.

Great place, great pricing, VERY over crowded, and the river was low which made the lazy part not so lazy as you had to walk in many places. Took almost twice the amount of time it usually does with proper flow but in the end the family had an awesome time. Will definitely do it again.

My 8-year-old and I had a blast. It was really fun! All the staff were really friendly and helpful including the lifeguards. The food is reasonable. The only reason I didn't give it a 5-star is that the restrooms are super disgusting. They smell really bad and lots and lots of flies. But overall everything was great and we plan to go again soon.

We just went tubing while the other half of our party did both. Tubing was fun, not crazy, but water was cold. Felt great. Water park looked fun and clean and organized. Little food area we purchased from was typical but good. It is a concessions style stand with cook to order but was fine. Service with a smile too.
