The hotel needs some deep cleaning and updating. The bed was more comfortable than I thought it would be. The first morning, breakfast everything was cold including the eggs, sausage, gravy and coffee. The food heating units were not on. The second morning breakfast was hot and very good. The air conditioner did not work properly so we were either too hot or too cold and had to make constant adjustments. The shower water was lukewarm at best, the regulator was adjusted to not allow enough hot water in because the sink was allowing very hot water. There were positives and negatives to our experience. I am not sure I would want to stay there again.

I dont think any cleaning was done. We get in and fridge has someone else food, bed had old sheets, bathroom lights half hanging 2 lights out, while we sleeping guests service comes in the room to ask if needed anything, your policy says after 3 days, they said nobody replied? Heater doesnt kick in untill later. Other than that its a pleasant place.

The location is good. Prices are great. Rooms are very nice. Staff is super friendly. Has a gym & heated pool. The huge breakfast was awesome. I will stay here again.Rooms: Big rooms, very comfortable beds. Microwave, mini fridge, coffee/tea station, and nice bathroom.

Service was average, room was actually pretty disgusting, though. The walls were a bit grimy and dirty, the bathtub looked like it needed repairs, and the beds were a bit unclean. The pillowcases looked like they had hair on them and hadn't been switched out, and when we pulled back the sheet we saw that there were stains and had to cram onto the second bed. And then to boot, a huge stink bug-type of bug landed on my arm and we stayed up an extra 30 minutes looking for it so it wouldn't fly onto us again.The saving grace was that the location was PRIME! Walking distance from just about everything in Helen. That was awesome!

People were nice but one of the reasons we picked this hotel was for the pool so our child could play and swim. Went to the pool and there were a bunch of drunk Hispanics with glass beer bottles all over the place. They were cooking right beside the pool and were playing their radio super loud. Couldnt even hear my daughter speaking to me. We complained to the desk clerk but nothing was done. 374.00 for two nights in the off season and we expected so much more. Highly disappointed. Will not return.

Location was good, hotel was dirty, dated and busted.The hallways had dirt and grime everywhere. There were numerous repairs that needed to be done in the room. Everything just felt like it wasn't maintained well.There were holes in the walls, and appearant water damage. We lost all hot water the night we stayed in the whole hotel so we couldn't even take showers.Our bed sheets literally had blood on them on the side of the bed, and it wasn't a stain, it was fresh blood that had not been washed yet indicating the sheets were not changed.See pics below, all of which were taken just inside our own room, of some of these issues. I wouldn't stay here if I were you!

We rented this hotel because it says it has a hot tub and indoor heating pool,the hot tub is no longer there and the pool was dirty and NOT heated! The windows in our room had cobwebs and mold all on the inside of them.The duvet on my bed had black hair all over it, beds aren't comfortable. Staff was nice,it is a good location and breakfast was ok

We had a great experience staying here, we will defiantly stay here again. It was clean the bed was very comfortable the staff was very accommodating and the location was perfectRooms: Loved the bed it was so comfortableNearby activities: We played putt putt shopped and and ate some really good foodSafety: Felt very safe and secureWalkability: It was located to where we walked everywhere.It was a great place to stay

WAS a repeat guest, NEVER again!! Two of my personal items were taken from my room while, I can only assume, housekeeping came by while we were out. Informed the front desk and I was told they trust their housekeeping staff and wanted an apology when I locate my items. NEVER LOCATED THE ITEMS. Immediate defensive response, even got passive aggressive response the next day during check out when I advised my items were not located. Completely floored me!! The beds were also VERY uncomfortable! The heated pool was under repair. Breakfast is beyond horrible. First experience here was flawless, besides breakfast, second experience worst hotel I ve stayed at, would not recommend. We will 100% never go back. I m still floored by the response I received from the front desk MIND. OFFICIALLY. BLOWN.Rooms: Room this stay was spacious, sitting room with couch was separated by a door. That was nice but the beds and couch were VERY uncomfortable.Nearby activities: City of Helen & Habersham Winery & Jumping Goat coffeeWalkability: Was able to walk to everything, for the most part.Food & drinks: Horrible breakfast, husband and mom liked the coffee.Noteworthy details: Two of my personal items were taken from my room while, I can only assume, housekeeping came by while we were out. NOT WORTH THE MONEY! We stayed here NYE 2023 and will never stay at this location again. They were not lacking a work force but everything was so out of order. They were still cleaning rooms after 4:00 pm. Check in time is 3:00 pm. People checking in were annoyed and having to wait in the Lobby or leave and come back. WE had no hot water for showers. My Husband got in and it ran out before he even got to take the shower. The breakfast was nothing at 9:00 am. It is suppose to last till 10:30 and everything was empty. We paid over $200.00 a night. The staff was over customers and were just trying to get everyone out the door. Not impressed.

False advertisement of a hot tub which is the only reason I booked a stay at this place. They had one but they had it filled in with concrete. The website says plainly there is a hot tub Indoor pool is not working properly (ice cold) .Rooms/ lobby are very clean.Staff was very helpful and nice.Mattress s are very hard.They did not come to clean our room Nearby activities: Everything is close by.Walkability: You can walk to everything

Very nice and clean room. Heated pool is small but nice to float around in. Grandson enjoyed the pool. Good hot breakfast.Walkability: Can easily walk to the shops and restaurants.

Average. Clean enough. Good location when visiting Helen. Staff super friendly but overwhelmed, understaffed, and by their own description did not understand how to use their new reservation system.... Stayed only one night and twice people were at the desk complained of being double billed... They checked me in then checked in the next guest to my room...

We planned on staying 2 nights, but only stayed one night due to the lack of cleanliness. The elevator was broken... I get it, so we had to take the stairs. The stairs were absolutely filthy not just dirty but filthy. There were stains everywhere and it looked like they had not been vacuumed in weeks.The pool area seemed clean except for the dog in the pool.. sorry but that's not supposed to be allowed. The lady at the desk addressed the person, but said there wasn't much she could do.The room seemed clean, but the mirrors definitely were not. All that being said, I'm not sure what these people who have given good reviews are used to.... but we definitely will not stay there again.

Judy at the front desk was a pleasure to deal with. And the rest of the staff that we had encounters with. The hotel could use some updates, but it fit our needs for our stay. Indoor pool which sounds odd to me but what do I know. It is in walking distance to everything that we wanted to do in town but most of all close to the family that we were visiting out of the village area. They offer free breakfast which was nice too.

The Staff is the ONLY thing that rates 5 stars at this hotel. The kitchen staff was excellent and worked extremely hard keeping everything replenished - great job. Desk and housekeeping staff were also very good. The 2 star rating falls on the hotel owners - shame on them. The sofa in our suite (Room 320) looks like it was salvaged from the side of the road. Soiled and worn out. No towel bars in the bathroom - ended up hanging the towels from the hangers. Hallway walls need painting, they are gouged from the cleaning carts. The carpet outside the elevator is in serious need of attention. Tile on first floor outside elevator is chipped/cracked - not a good look. On our last day, for some reason - NO COFFEE. Apparently, some issue inside the kitchen. Owners need to start reinvesting in their property.Now, a word to parents. A Hotel hallway with rooms is NOT a playground for your unruly children to run rampant. Well after 10:00 pm the "kids" were running full bore up and down the hallway. PUT A LEASH ON THEM.

Our room was clean and the bathroom looked as though it had been remodeled as well as comfort height toilet installed. They had a hot breakfast each morning. Staff was friendly and helpful.Nearby activities: The hotel was close to the main downtown shopping area and several restaurants. There were also other stores and eateries right around the hotel itself.Walkability: The hotel was conveniently within walking distance of the downtown, for most people, and a very short drive for those who could not walk the distance or who had other disabilities. A downside is that most all of the stores are not wheelchair or walker accessible and the aisles are extremely narrow.Food & drinks: There are many types of restaurants, cafes, candy stores, bakeries, and other eateries in the immediate downtown area.

We arrived to check in at 6, but our room wasn't ready yet. The woman at the front desk informed us that they were short-staffed, which is understandable.My husband and I waited in the lobby for nearly an hour to get our room (we overheard that the we were supposed to be on the second floor originally but she eventually put us on the third floor), but the woman gave us a free late check-out to make up for it.The rooms are sizable, with an updated bathroom. The only negative we could find was that the shower head seemed a little loose. It was very quiet and the bed was comfy. We felt very safe.We stayed two nights and housekeeping never cleaned our room, but again, they were shortstaffed. I suppose if we had needed anything, we could have asked the front desk.The pool and hot tub are nice. I appreciated the gym (although the bike wasn't working) If you want to use the yoga mat, I'd strongly advise against it. My hands and knees have little marks all over them (pictures attatched)The walk to everything is almost too far but we still made the trek out a few times over the weekend.Overall, we would stay again.Food & drinks: The continental breakfast was amazing, so many options! Sausage links, scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, waffles, bagels, muffins, cereal and more! Drink options were orange juice (carton or cup) cranberry juice, milk, water, coffee and tea.

The hotel was clean. Breakfast was phenomenal and the highlight of the stay. Checkin took a while when i was the only one at the desk. At 3:00, our room still wasn't ready as promised. I had a sleepy toddler and we were more than ready to settle down for a bit. The issue was housekeeping. We overheard a conversation of a housekeeper say she had 9 rooms to clean that day and had only done 3 by 3:00pm. When we did get checked into the room, every other door we walked past was wide open with dirty rooms on display waiting to be addressed. The maids cart sat outside our door and the dirty rooms beside us stayed open throughout the night. This could be a potential safety hazard for unwanted guests right beside you!! We didnt have any bedding for the pullout sofa and had to wait a while for this. We opted not to stay our second night as originally planned and went home after just a night. It was odd and creepy vibes.

Clean beds have clean protectors on them, pillows are super comfy down pillows. Should just get rid of the carpet, go with vinyl like everyone else, but it seemed to be clean enough but it was a dark color in the room, hallway carpet is very old. Bathrooms are very clean. Refrigerator is clean. Pretty well sound control couldn t hear anyone next to us. Breakfast is great!! Had eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, make your own waffles, cereal, yogurt banana apples, bagels, toast. So good!! Right downtown and can t beat the price!! Staff is friendly and helpful!!
