Shout out to Steve GerberThis company is amazing. I would recommend them to any and everyone. They kept me updated every step of the way, and answered all my questions immediately. Just picked up my car today not only with the repairs done, but they wash the interior an extra in my car making for an easy transition.

I recently had to take my vehicle to Gerber in Grovetown for bumper repair . I was pleasantly greeted the minute I walked into your establishment by Emily Brooks and Stephen Athearn. Every time I talked with them, they were professional and friendly. I was informed about the status of my vehicle daily and the work was completed in a timely manner. I also appreciate the cleanliness of your site. Thank you!

I hit a deer and the front end was damaged pretty bad along with some scratches, etc. on the passenger side. Once they got into it the air conditioner unit was damaged and couldn t get it to stop leaking- had it sent to a specialty shop for them to check the problem.I am so impressed with their concern and work they did. And also fixed the system that shows warning issues on my dash. They also called me on a regular basis letting me know what they were doing to the car..I will recommend Gerber-Grovetown to all my family and friends.AWESOME Job guys ..And, I also want to thank the Ladies at the front desk. They were so nice and helpful and courteous.Services: Electrical, Body & Trim, Air conditioning

Very professional and polite. Answered allMy questions no matter how many times I called. Unfortunately when they started to work on my vehicle the damage was more extensive then the estimated repair. If I have another vehicle issue of this nature I will go back too Gerber.

The body work (front fender and side trim) was covered by insurance, so we did not compare prices; however, everyone was very open, polite, and communicated regularly. We had one minor issue that didn't even need management help (random accident), but the manager stood ready to help out on behalf of the staff, the business, and the customer. If that engagement is representative of the culture of the shop, they are extremely well run. And yes, the van also looks terrific!

If you are looking for a body shop in the area, this is the one. We tried them out a few months ago and couldn't have been more pleased. We had a short timeline and they were able to meet it without a problem. Jay-Ann is the lady to go to. She is wonderful to work with and very capable. She arranged for our vehicle to be repaired and professionally cleaned quickly. Trust these guys and you won't be disappointed

Absolutely top-notch customer service and work performance. Not only do these guys repair cars but they must have an artistic to sure that every scene is lined up to the millimeter... I have to counter the one customer service complaint that another user posted. You must ve asked for something impossible or out of traditional norms for car repair service. I have visited this place three times and I have always been respected and they listen to my concerns/complaints. I completely felt valued as a customer and would highly recommend this location. This is a great example of a What in American business should be here in the Augusta area. These folks are great it will take care of your car even if it s 10 years old or one hour oldService: Painting

The work done by their staff was perfect. I have had John Harris do work for me in the past and they were always perfect. I would like to thank the staff that's worked on my truck. They treated it as if it was their own. Jan your the best on having the knowledge of what your customer wants, expect and keeping everything running smooth. The shop crew Robert Maddox the painter,Jose Ramos the painter's helper and he prepped it. Sean Keller,Doug Hyde did tear down and body work. All of this team made it all come together well beyond my expectations.ALSO AS A FOOT NOTE I WANT TO LET EVERYONE KNOW I'M NOT RELATED TO ANYONE AT JOHN HARRIS BODY SHOP, WE JUST HAVE THE SAME LAST NAME.

Communication was horrible. Tried several times to get my car repaired here through USAA but the lady at the front desk never contacted me with updates or gave me any information about when to drop off the vehicle for an estimate or even if they would take the car. I had to call several times to of the course of 2 weeks until I just gave up and went with Performance Collision Centers in Grovetown. They wasted my time and slowed my claim down.Service: Body & Trim

Cons: 1) the estimate was very far off from what was actually done. I am not happy with the end cost to repairs done ratio. 2) a "2-3" week job took 5 weeks. 3) Communication of delays and time to completion was poor.Pros: the quality of the work done was very good and the ladies at the front are very nice.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

They got my car in and fixed on time. The front desk were amazing and I love the text message updates as my car was going through the repair process. Won't take my car anywhere else! And they worked really well with USAA.

Gerber's name came up when filing a claim through my insurance USAA during an accident I was involved in earlier this year. I called them to get an inspection, and considering this location was fairly close to my home I thought I'd give them a try, and explained that the claim was open and would request that USAA assign it to them. So when I arrived someone named Victoria "inspected" the damage, and was so busy attempting to refute my military service by asking if the veteran's license plate on my vehicle belonged to me. Wow, you guys that far behind??? Yes I am the veteran, that was MY license plate, MY car, and I'm also the daughter of a career-retired Korea-Vietnam veteran who gave the military 30 years of service, if you can relate to that.So in the midst of the "inspection" I was given a range of dates to select an appointment to drop off my car, and was told to call first before arrival. SMH, appointments are for what exactly again?? And considering all of this I don't know why I did what I said I'd do by asking USAA to assign the claim to them, in spite of the bum-a$$ ignorance encountered during this visit. Needless to say ample time passed, and no record of this inspection nor repair estimate was be found, and when inquiring via USAA, all that Gerber could say was "we have it." Making a long story short I had USAA pull the repair request immediately and send me to another network collision center, and was very glad I did. An excellent job was done from start to finish with another provider and nothing was held up. It would be most accurate if Gerber received zero stars considering this experience.

They were very professional and friendly at every exchange. Communication was open every step of the way. The texted updates on the work being made. Beware of this shop!!! I took my van to this shop to get repairs from a accident and I noticed upon picking up my vehicle I could not see the digital display for my mileage and my gas gauge. I informed the shop of this the day I picked up my vehicle. They gave me the run around for a month and a half and I was given promised of a manager call back and no call. I finally said to myself I need to go there in person. I was told that my car is old and this sort of thing happen all the time. They said they would not assume responsibility of a feature that was working before I dropped my car off even though the manager clearly can see the mileage was showing and was documented when the vehicle was brought in thus indicating there was no problem before their incompetent technicians touched my vehicle. The is the worse body shop I have ever went to. They also don't have enough front desk help. They make promises of call back that are never fulfilled. Beware!!! If you vehicle is messed up in their care they will assume no responsibility.

Outstanding establishment! They put new headlights in my truck when the other collisions places here in Grovetown would not do it unless they had ordered them.Great customer service .Did 25 years in Military and would suggest them to anybody in the Military or not.

Had my door repaired. Another company just up the road said they couldn't do the work. Jokes on you bud. Someone else did and they're named Gerber Collision and glass. They not only did the work it looks almost new again.

Wherever you go, DON'T go to John Harris Body Shop ESPECIALLY the one in Grovetown, GA! After spending over $2,300.00 with them (out of pocket) and having to take my vehicle back THREE times they still haven't gotten it right. Today I received a voicemail from the manger saying that after he had spoken to his manager, they will no longer be working on my vehicle. Needless to say, all they care about is your money and once they get it their quality of work and your satisfaction is of NO importance. Save yourself the trouble and take your vehicle elsewhere.

I ve never met an unpleasant person here. Everyone is so personable & willing to help. Front desk knows what they re doing & everything is always as promised! Felt good to have my car back & the fact it was so clean was icing on the cake!
