We found this place when our tire exploded on I-20! So glad we did!!!! Everyone was so kind and accommodating. The kiddie corner while we waited was an unexpected added bonus. They got us a new tire and fixed part of my bumper in no more than half an hour. Cannot give enough praise.

I noticed an antifreeze leak under my vehicle so I took it here to have it checked out. They replaced some kind of housing unit and charged me 900 dollars. Two days later there was still antifreeze leaking and when I call and asked them about it they said it just needs to dry out a few days. A week later there was still evidence of antifreeze leak. So I took it to a backyard mechanic and he showed me where the antifreeze reservoir was cracked and leaking and he replaced it for 35 dollars. So if you are a lady DON T go here cause they will really rip you off. I only pray that God will deal with them the same way they took advantage of me.

Just recently moved down to Augusta from Detroit. Left out feeling assured that my truck tires were all full. Sadly, the rear passenger tire was flat, so I ended up ruining the tire. Had my vehicle towed in under my Triple A policy. They found a good tire for my Yukon at a decent price and the labor was also affordable. I was in and out and able to enjoy the rest of the day ahead thanks to Gate 2 Tire $ Auto. Sincerely very thankful to the staff and their time

I have used other repair shops in Columbia County and my experience with Rick at Gate 2 convince me that I get reliable and honest (not overcharged) service here.

They were able to quickly fix a hole (with a patch) in my tire and reasonably priced. Will definitely go back for all my tire needs.

I took my F150 in because I had a rounded lug nut that I could not get off on my own. It cost 50$ for labor to take the lug nut off. This comes out to a 50 minute job .Customer service was great. They offered military discount of .48 cents though.

I have been a customer for a few years now for tires and have always had a wonderful experience each time. The staff are very professional, friendly, and helpful. Honest people with great prices. I called yesterday to get an oil change and was scheduled for this morning at 8am. I was out the door by 8:30... Thank you Gate 2 Tire & Auto Center, you ROCK!

Theses folks love their job! I was in and out in less than 20 mins for two trailer tire to rim swaps. I will be back for other services in auto care.

Very friendly, and a place that will do what you need for a reasonable cost quickly and friendly with no damage to your stuff. Picture is of a custom made 3piece wheel (value at $1500 for one wheel) I had the tires replaced.

Dropped off the vehicle at 0800 (made an appt a week prior) for an alignment and tire rotation. Called at 1230, they said another hour and a half. Was dropped off at 1pm, it s 4:30 and they still aren t done. Needless to say, yea they do good work, pricing is great, but timing is terrible. Don t expect to get your vehicle back in a timely manner even with an appointment. Either don t overbook appointments or don t take walk ins. Whatever caused this back log of vehicles, there is a way to mitigate it.

They are always fair and honest with me. They have quality tires and sometimes they do light mechanic work on my vehicles. They're good country people with friendly personalities. Their workers are friendly too

I have been here a few times over the years. Recently ordered a whole new set of tires and they made sure they got them for a better price than I could have elsewhere. Front desk are all polite. Great overall experience.

Reviewed this place prior to taking my truck in for service as I have recently moved to the area. The reviews made me to believe this was the best choice in the area. However, I was extremely wrong as I experienced my worst vehicle service ever. I stress this shop should be only used for tires and oil change services!! Actual mechanic work should be avoided at all cost if you expect quality work. I had a leveling kit install and paid for an alignment that I honestly don t think was completed. They don t provide an alignment report as every shop that I have ever used unless you beg for one. I would question do they actually preform true alignment or just eye ball things like a shade tree mechanic does. Wish I had taken my truck to a shade tree mechanic if I knew the quality of work they provide. I returned the truck to have it reinspected to only have them literally flip the camber to the opposite direction. Service manager Rick seemed oblivious to my services kept asking me the same question over and over. When I requested to be in contact with the owner to discuss my concerns, the office lady would not assist in my request. This may not be your experience with gate2 but this is mine and I feel burned!

I brought my vehicle in to diagnose worn out suspension components due to a rough ride that started a month ago. After 5 minutes driving my car around the block the lead mechanic tells me the reason it's riding rough is due to being lowered, even though up until a month ago, it had driven fine for the last 2 years at it's current height. I know the problem is worn out components, I just needed a mechanic to tell me which components. They couldn't even raise it up to tell me that much. They are either unwilling to work on lowered cars or they don't know how to get one on their lift. Either way I am taking my vehicle elsewhere for future repairs.

I love this place! They're close to my house, which is a plus. The staff is always courteous and super helpful and friendly! I usually do all my own work, on my car, but if I get stuck, or I can't do it, they're the only place I'll bring my car to. You can can call ahead and set up appointments to avoid waiting. Great place! I would recommend to anyone in the Grovetown Ga area.

I had a flat tire one morning and was able to get enough air in it to drive it to this location. First time here. Every one was very nice and professional. They had my tire patched Not Plugged up and I was out of there in less than an hour. I expected to pay allot more but it was less than $40 Great service. I will definitely be going back if I have any other concerns. Thanks.

Tire pressure light came on while taking brother to the Dr in Grovetown. Stopped in on a very busy Monday! Nice gentleman said, I ll be glad to check your tire pressure, but if the tire needs fixing, I know I can t get to it today. He checked the pressure in all four tires and said, you are good to go! I know he was busy because the lot was full of cars and receptionist was on the phone scheduling, but he took the time to help me and I was back to the Dr to pick up my brother in a jiffy!Thankful for the kindness!

On 10/162020 I called up to gate 2 Tire and Auto to see if they could look at my vehicle to see what was wrong with it. I spoke with a woman who told me to bring the car in so they could run a diagnostic first. I dropped my vehicle off at 8:15am and informed the lady at the front desk that before they do any work I need to know the cost and the problem. She informed me that they would call before fixing the vehicle. It s now 12:30pm and no word on my vehicle so I call up there and speak with the woman again who informs me that he s just now doing the diagnostic test and it would be another 30 minutes before they know anything. At 4:42pm still no call so I call back up there speak with the same woman again who tells me I needed a tune up and I asked how much and when can they fix it. At this point she tells me it s $344.00 and the car is fixed and I can come pick it up. Remind you they did the repairs without calling me first and discussing the price. So I get to the shop sit in the waiting area for an hour and a mechanic comes out and says your car is not ready it will be Monday before they can see why the tune up didn t work. So Monday morning I get a call at 9:00am to inform me that my engine was bad. You mean to tell me my car was there on Saturday for 9 hours and basically I need a new car? Basically I picked my 2007 Dodge Nitro up the same way I dropped it off and out of $344.00.

DO NOT COME HERE!!Came in for brake pad and caliper replacements which cost me about $1000. Not concerned about the price, but they kept my vehicle for 2 days longer than they said they would. I had to call them for updates on my car which was frustrating.Now the reason I m giving them 1 star is because I picked up my car and the Emergency brake was completely inoperable when I picked it up. I had left the car with a functioning emergency brake (I use it every day). I tell them it s not working and they tell me to bring it in the following week so they can check it out. I ask them how this could have happened and they said it must ve been a coincidence. What does that even mean? The manager then tells me to look at it from his point of view and that he ll be losing money by replacing it for free. Luckily I talked the manager out of charging me, but that should ve never happened in the first place. Complete lack of respect to a customer, especially one that just spent $1,000.

They have always treated my wife and I very well. In the 9 years we have been in Georgia, they have always been a blessing when it comes to last minute repairs. We always send people their way and they never leave disappointed.

Wouldn't let these clowns change a tricyclesl tire. Dropped car off at 8:30 for 4 tires and was told 3 hours. At 4:30, 1/2 hour before they closed, the car hadn't been touched. Called throughout the day and phone never was answered. Pathetic!

I had to make an emergency stop here for a large bolt in my tire. They were actually able to save my tire by plugging it. The place reminds me of my granddaddy's auto shop when I was little. Every one was friendly and honest and I like that. So if I ever need my car worked on that requires more than an oil change then I will go to them.

I needed some work done on my car. One place gave me a price of $750.00. My daughter recommended Gate 2 tire & Auto and so glad I went there. They took my car in and started working on it right away. They were very orofessional! They fixed my car and it is running great and charged me $300.00 less than I was quoted at the first place!! I will definately go back. Honest people!

Came in on a recommendation of a decades long customer. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable about potential causes. Quick and direct with repairs. Exactly what I was hoping for from a mechanic. Highly recommend.

I absolutely love Gate 2 and would recommend them to anyone. Joe and his staff are one in a million in service and quality! I have never had a problem with them and am happy that they hire actual mechanics and not someone off the street like Jiffy Lube. I would prefer Gate 2 over Jiffy Lube any day

Excellent customer service. Great mechanics. Many shops will tell you things are wrong that really aren't just to make more money. I listed several things that I thought might need work but they were honest to only fix things that were in need. Very honest and inexpensive. Highly recommend
