I had been looking to upgrade to a newer pickup for quite some time. I ran across a facebook marketplace ad for a truck that had just about everything that I was looking for. I called and spoke to Anson about coming to look at the vehicle. Once I decided to make my purchase, Anson and his staff were very accomodating and professional. Vehicle was cleaned, detailed and emmisions done when I came to pick it up. I told Anson when we were doing paperwork that this was one of my best car buying experiences. If you are looking for a good used car you cant go wrong using these guys.

went ahead and pulled the trigger on a 6.0 Powerstroke knowing nothing because everyone was so nice at this place. I called at the last minute on a Friday as they were closing. They had to move another truck to get to mine, but it was clean and started right up cold ready for a test drive. 180k miles on it, bulletproofed, completely stock otherwise, not smoking, shaking, or leaking. Just took it in for a full diagnostic before writing this review- it seems the previous owner was a responsible adult who took great care of the truck and at 180k miles it needed new injectors and a couple of other small things. There are a couple of small leaks- everything is better than expected for this mileage. Overall a great value. I see from reading these reviews that its tough to be a used car dealer, and I feel like I got lucky with this one. I'm looking forward to at least doubling the miles on it. My dad was pretty upset at me throwing my money away at first, but the first week I brought it home I've been helping him and his clients putting it to work every day. I'm putting on my CB Radio and a 60 gallon fuel tank and driving to Alaska! Everyone at Performance Auto is pleasant, professional, patient, and helpful. Stanley was able to answer all my questions and met me at the gas station across the street and bought me a quart of oil!

DO NOT DO BUISSNESS WITH THIS DEALER!!!! He buys cheap vehicles from auction in Florida and knowingly sells pieces of $h@t!I saw this add on Craigslist and I loved the truck. I called the guy, super nice dude! He told me nothing was wrong with the truck and that it was a fully bullet proofed 6.0L. After making the 5 hour drive from Charlotte, NC, I test drive the truck. I notice the air conditioning was working well and there was a scratching noise coming from under the hood. I popped the hood and saw the a/c compressor locking up. The guy assured me it was fine and that he would have his mechanic charge it up. So he did. I purchased the truck with CASH in hand. After purchasing the car my fianc and I wanted to ride the long trip back together so we went to uhaul and rented a car hauler to pull our Acura TL back home. We left griffin ga and made it 10 miles outside Atlanta and the a/c quit working. I saw this coming so we rolled down the windows and turned it off. We made t another 10 miles and truck began to over heat. So we pulled off in the median of a merging highway and highway 85. There we sat for 6 hours while trying to go to Autozone and get coolant, call wrecking company's, and the guy I just purchased the truck from earlier in the day. Around 9 pm we decided to call it quits. Leave the truck in ga and go home for the night. I paid to get truck towed to a wrecker yard. I paid the wrecking company to tow uhaul trailer back to uhaul. And we drove 4 hours back home. Next day I hooked up the goose neck trailer and headed back to Georgia. Picked up the truck and brought it home. Tore it down and found that the ac compressor had locked up burnt up belt. I installed a new compressor charged ac and all was good. Took to work next day and put a block tester on truck. Found exhaust gases in coolant so then I knew heads were blown. I took truck back to my shop and tore it down. Just to find out heads were warped and block deck surface needs machined. I have over $4000 in this truck after the initial purchase, and I'm not even close to being done. I highly recommend not purchasing anything from this dealer. Patches seem to be a good fix for this company. I found that heads had no exhaust manifold gaskets. Spacer plate on driver side head wasn't even tightened down. Electrical harness is butchered and just about needs to be replaced. The guy has yet to contact me back with any compensation on helping or assisting in repairs.

We bought a mint 2001 2500HD extended cab 4WD last Dec '19It was advertised as a "mechanic special".. We had it shipped to Port Huron Mi. and we brought it to Canada ..We changed the front diff and radiator. Truck has 422,000 miles and runs like a rocket.. Best part, was gorgeous original paint body. It was/is worth three times the purchase. We repair Diesel trucks for a living. I drive it daily as a parts truck. Seller was honest with description....Thanks for Bronson Line Auto Ontario Canadal

Travelled from Nashville to come check out a truck. Anson was honest and forward with all information. All receipts, history and details were brought forth. I bought the truck and couldn't be happier. If everyone is willing to travel, I'll point them to this man's direction every time. Great customer service from him and his staff. The truck is a 2005. I expect things to happen. Truck doesn't miss. Doesn't sputter. Rides smooth, pulls hard and is quiet. Inspect the ride and feel it out. As we did, can't complain.

Nice campers for sale but nobody was present on the lot when we showed up (during business hours) and nobody answered the phone. Office was unlocked and so we re most of the campers but no prices were posted on them so it was hard to shop around .The camper we wanted wasn t on the lot anyway even though it was listed on the website and even recently listed on Craig s list. After we left, the number from dealership rang my phone but at that point we were already headed back to Atlanta so I didn t answer.

Just bought a 2012 Toyota Tacoma today and had the best experience. Anson is a great guy. My husband and I trusted him from the start. You know that feeling when you meet a salesman you can trust. Doesn t happen often. Very happy with our purchase and the purchase price. He wanted to sell and it didn t feel at all like a greedy deal unlike some places we went to before finding this dealership. He made us feel like he had our best interest at heart in the decision we went with. He was patient and took his time working w us on test drives and us going back and forth between many different cars and trucks. We re the worst at deciding. Great guy and we will definitely come to back to Griffin to buy with Anson and Performance Auto if we have the chance in the future. Also, you ve never met a greater guy than Stanley, assistant salesman and detailer. One more thing I will add on this review is even though we drove almost two hours, besides it being worth it with the quality of inventory and friendliness, they had ALOT of inventory to choose from for a used car dealership. With a decent drive this all made it worth it. Would give more stars if I could.

We drove 3 hours from Savannah, Ga to see buy a pickup. We were very surprised on how well Anson and the folks at Performance Auto represented their vehicles. The truck was better than advertised and the deal was better than advertised. Thanks again to the Performance Auto group, it made the trip worth taking.CD Hunt - purchased 2000 Chevy P/U.

Do NOT do business here! My husband bought a truck from this company 2 weeks ago. The ad online said it was in "perfect condition" and "ready to go." The salesman said it was a great truck and it had no issues. The next day he took it to his friend's body shop to have him inspect it. Blown head gasket, overboosting from clogged turbo, coolant leaking into EGR, and that's just the beginning. We called up there and they told us the owner would call us and make it right. He never called. They started screening our calls and won't even answer unless we call from a number they don't recognize. We will never do business here again. They have no problem lying to your face to make a buck!

I feel like the reviews left here are from people who didn't do their due diligence. I bought a 05 F250 diesel with 180k miles here a year ago, I waited to give a review so I would be able to be honest and accurate.I forget the owners name (sorry guy) but he was as honest as could be expected, he did not lie nor misrepresent anything. He told me what he knew about the truck and clearly said "I dont know" when he didn't. Although I did not need his assistance in getting a loan, he was very helpful throughout the process and we finished the transaction within 24hrs and I took the truck home.I have been towing 18,000lbs with my truck 3 days a week for a year and put 32,000 miles on it. The AC did have an issue when I bought it and he told me he worked on it - I fixed the AC and found YES he did replace many things but missed a very small item that caused the issue (the point is, he told me about it and what he replaced and it was all true). All older vehicles will require maintenance and repairs of some kind. On this truck I replaced the oil cooler ($350) the fan clutch ($300 this is why the AC didnt work correctly) and an injector ($300) that's it. I paid about $2,800 less than the truck was actually worth and after $1,000 in repairs it has been a SOLID truck.I am in the market for another truck and have been trying to get back up there to see what he has available. I live 100 miles south and it is worth it to me to make the trip. All I can advise is research the vehicle you are looking at and familiarize yourself with that models issues so you know what to look for. Most of all talk to the guy, he was 100% honest with me. If you dont ask you can't be mad. I spoke to him about my truck, looked at it myself and payed $100 to have the truck inspected by a shop, that is how I knew what needed work (all older vehicles will need something) I was able to make an informed decision that the truck was worth MORE than he was asking and it was a good purchase. I wasnt mad a used 180k mile truck needed some work, I understood it and that he had already made the necessary repairs to ensure it was road worthy at the time. If I just drove it as it was it probably wouldn't have lasted a year without major issues but I made the repairs soon after I bought it and it has been perfect since! If you neglect a vehicle you can't be mad when it breaks down. He had other trucks that didnt need ANY repairs but the price was higher because of it, I did my due diligence and made a wise financial choice and bought this truck, I suggest you do the same. How is that for an honest long term review?.**Update** The guys name is Anson and not only is he is a stand up guy but his employees are as well. I am now at 254k miles and still towing almost daily. I love the truck I got from them! I am looking for another and I am just waiting on him to get the one I am looking for.Do your due diligence people, do your research and ask the appropriate questions! Dont walk in and out blind and be mad at someone else about it!

My wife and I bought an RV there a while back and when we tried to use it on the highway the roof of the RV started to come off. I talked to the owner and he said he he would make good I assumed he was putting a new roof on the RV. I later discovered that he had his people I sent my patch the roof. The owners workers came over and delivered the RV with the tarp on the RV and told me to keep the tarp on for a day or two for the sealant to cure. I did that my wife and I have not use the RV yet we went inside the RV the other day and noticed there was water leaking through the roof. With the damage that was done it will cost several thousand dollars to repair. We will never buy another vehicle from that dealership and would not recommend it to anybody.

I have bought a few cars and trucks from this dealership and I have had NO issues with any of them other than regular maintenance. The key is to check out all used cars. Remember these vehicles are previously owned. No way to tell how the previous owner treated the vehicle. This is just my opinion but Ryan Quady shouldn't be reviewing a company he has never had any dealing with. He states he previously owned a truck they had for sell. I'm guessing he is just mad because it got repoed from him.

Deserves a zero! I had contacted the dealership about a class c rv. Their post on Craigslist stated...1 very clean and well kept . Well, not true! Rv was dirty even old condiment packages left in dirty refrigerator, sink had not been clean, upholstery nasty, would not let my grandkids sit on it!2 just had new tires and service performed Tires had some kind of oil or grease rubbed on it to make it look new, but on closer inspection by my husband, he noticed the age cracks in the tires and the substance came off on his fingers.3 roof has just been resealed My husband climbed up the ladder to examine the roof. He said that it had NOT been resealed, old caulking would fall off just touching it along windows and other joints.4. Drove eight hours round trip, plus bought 2 meals for 4, because the man I talked with assured me that the rv was in great shape.5. Had know one there with any knowledge on the product!Only plus was the sweet lady in the office!I think my 8 year old granddaughter summed it up very well. They re Liars!

I only gave one star because I couldn't give zero and still give a rating. This man sold my son a lemon and will not answer the phone and speak to us about it. It has problems with the fuel system which he admittedly worked on before he sold it to my son. Seven days after he bought it it broke down. SEVEN DAYS. Seven more days and the truck is still not running. The dealership thinks it's something to do with the fuel system that he worked on. Do not ever I repeat EVER do business with this man. He is a typical shady car salesman.

Bought the chrysler 300c srt from them which was already overpriced by 2k dollars but whatever i wanted it. 2 days later the pcm went out and the car wouldnt start. Talked to the owner once and he said to give him a call when i figure out whats wrong. Ok fair enough. Got the analysis and the estimate tried to call owner but he was always either not in the store or left for the day so they say. Got the repairs done. Came up to $2600 not to mention the thermostat that i had to get replaced before that so i called the store for 3 weeks and couldnt talk to the owner at all. They always said they would give him my number and he would call me back but it never happened. Long story short customer service her is a 0 and i wouldnt recommend it to noone.

Mr. Cook sold our son a SUV on Friday night and on Saturday morning it started smoking and losing oil. Our son took it to Maxie Lube and it's going to be $1000.00 to get it fixed after paying $4400.00 for the vehicle. We don't even know if that's going to fix it cause it hasn't been ran through a diagnostic machine yet. This is a crying shame that crooks can open up a business and rip people off like he did and then act like he didn't know the SUV was a piece of junk. Well if you don't want to get ripped off and lied too stay far away from Performance Auto Inc. in Griffin Ga. I am reporting him to the BBB and also putting a ad in the Griffin Daily News!

Purchased. 2010 F250 Super Duty. Anson, Stacey and Stanley have been wonderful. We did have an issue with a bad battery but they worked with us to resolve the issue and never stopped providing great service. The vehicle was as promised in the details and the price was right. Very pleased with the level of service and the vehicle.

Yeah the place is pretty cool and neat, I would just say too make it more affordable and stop being so money hungry like dam, I could literally look up a video and buy the parts myself for 60% cheaper you know.

DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS DEALER. I WAS SOLD A VEHICLE WITH A FAULTY TRANSMISSION.THIS DEALER HAS NO INTEGRITY. IM NOT THE ONLY INDIVIDUAL WHO HAS EXPERIENCED BAD BUSINESS FROM ANSON. THE ADD BELOW IS THE ADVERTISEMENT. THE ADD STATES NOTHING MENTIONING THE TRANSMISSION. I HAVE PAPERWORK FROM MY TRANSMISSION MECHANIC STATING THE ISSUE. I HAVE THE PAPERWORK IN HAND AS WELL. THIS DEAKER WILL NOT HONOR WHAT HE HAS SOLD. I TOLD THIS DEALER I WAS SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OF THE UNITED STATES ARMY WITH 8 YEARS OF SERVICE. HE ACKNOWLEDGED THE FACT , WILLFULLY TO SALE ME A DAMAGED VEHICLE.
